Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

There needs to be a diglette chapter.

No rhyme or reason for it, just a period of time where there are fucking twelve trillion diglettes mucking about and causing havoc
Vale sputtered and chuckled, spinning his body around in a comedic fashion. "Unless you develop a more attuned ability for sensing Ki, Rarer than the half developed canines in my wretched mouth, you would be wise to keep that under control. Lark is fine, spry as a newy hatched chick, But without Pij, his life will not last. Gaians are nothing without their familiars. His weapon is shattered, and his soul is in tatters. But that half elf, Sera, will find his way into his room if I do not interfere, loathsome as it may be I must for the greater good of my personal feelings, and so here I am! But I cannot track him, beyond what my blade shows me, so here I am! Stuck! Like a fly in a web made out of your stupidity." Vale began to cry, or rather, he faked his sobbing for dramatic effect. It was fairly obvious, not that he'd care if Jenso and Jeff could tell or not.

"I know nothing of Lark's son, one way or another. Forgive my serious tone as well, boy. I'm rather stressed as of late. All this business with the order and your hollow head has been giving me a headache. I'd thought I couldn't feel pain again! It's rather euphoric, actually!"
Vale suddenly reached forwards and dug his nails into Jenso's shoulder. "Don't ignore me and go about sensing Ki, you idiotic little wretch," Vale growled pulling him closer as blood started to trickle through Jenso's shirt, "You won't be able to sense anything from this distance, and you won't be able to pinpoint Lark's energy source. Nobody can do that without precise magical prowess, and you're turning yourself into a beacon for those who feed on Ki, such as myself. How do you think it's been so easy for me to track you through this worthless continent?" Vale paused and turned to Jeff, sniffing quickly. He smiled and pushed Jenso back, releasing his grip. "Detestable stupidity, I dare say! You don't honestly think you've been feeling Lark's Ki this entire time, do you? Just because there are four sources of Ki that stand out in this god forsaken city, doesn't mean a thing, ignorance is a disease that you wholesomely gobble down like a gluttonous little mule, Lark and that other moron of yours are not even conscious!" Vale shook his head. "The average Ki user knows how to conceal their energy, usually. The only ones who can't, are those with stupidly large energy pools, or idiots." Vale slammed his hand against his forehead and spun around irritably, "And through using your Ki to sense for surrounding energy sources, you are vividly showing up on the radar for anyone who has even the mildest affinity with their Ki, quite literally firing a flare gun into the sky, a child with a firecracker."
Vale abruptly stepped in Jeff's path and pushed him back with one arm. "No no, not yet," He insisted, waggling one of his fingers in juvenile protest. "I do have a reason for being here, what a splendid goal and one with such breadth, not that you'd understand, or sympathize for that matter. No, Jenso, I know you've grown, but I'm here to assure that Lark doesn't befall the same fate as that other Gaian."
@Pikmin Eye@Zardoric Weren't you two in that other pokemon RP??
Vale rolled his eyes and shrugged. "I don't care!" He shouted happily with a sultry chuckle.
"Oh you, surprised and bewildered? Wouldn't you like to know! Well it's not so complicated, much less a puzzle than a simple question answered by problem solving and common sense, the latter of which I rarely bear witness to in your presence, the former being a rarity without parity! I'm here to see you, of course! It'd been quite a while, oh the time itself fades into the crevices of fates to have passed, since we've met! And..." Vale paused and smiled, "Your presence was not foreseen, but I am intrigued to see you, even if the sword does refuse to share such details, nonetheless!"
Sheira rolled her eyes and lead the two of them into the main hall. There was a massive carpet laid out for them, and a massive set of doors on the north side of the room. Voices were echoing from inside. It seemed that they had already started. "NO!" Sheira shrieked, rushing into the room. "GREGORY BETTER BE IN THERE!!"

Jenso and Jeff were meant to follow, but as Sheira disappeared into a tiny door near the bottom of the giant doorway, a shadow descended from above, landing in front of Jenso and Jeff.

"Greetings and salutations my friends! Fancy seeing me here, of all places?" Vale announced with his arms raised and a massive smile.
There were several stronger aura in the castle, and one that was absolutely overbearing compared to the rest. Still, it didn't compare to that of Ross, Mikey, or Lark. It was strong, but no stronger than Gol-Ira, or Bobba. Perhaps that was the king? Was he really that weak? Perhaps the folks around here were not nearly comparable to Jenso, or the people he'd fought in the past.

"I'm bringing us in!" Sheir announced, dipping below the castle with a sudden swoop. In moments, she tipped the craft back up, and flew them into a circular hole at the bottom of the castle. When inside, the edges of the circle were visible, and looked like loading bays as if the fortress was a giant ship. There were a ton of identical hovercraft inside, each with only slightly varying paint jobs and attachments. When Sheira landed, she hopped out and guided Jeff and Jenso towards one of the three staircases that were evenly placed at the ends of the giant circular loading bay.
