I also find it funny that Lucille blames a bunch of people who haven't ever fought yet for Hell sucking at fighting.

I feel like the aspect where Diana refused to hurt a human no matter what, and how that emotionally affected Bastion, and the pressure put on them from the outside world in the avatar of Victoire, was very compelling. I'm sad the whole "treatment of humans" subplot has largely been ignored in favor of larger explosions. Also, yes.

Victoire is an arrogant prune. What did you expect?

Yes, but there's that certain, I don't know what, that separates "I love to hate this character" like Sliske, and "I am so salty we are saving you" like Victoire.

@Lucius Cypher Grafdakka is definitely my favorite fighter who fights for fighting, as well as my by far favorite Machina. However, there's honestly not a lot of stiff competition.

Eos is an ice queen. With no development.
Titania, like all Flamelord characters, always seems to get her interesting character development/fights canceled at the last second.
Zealot isn't sword Zealot, so I'm not interested. Also, he's shown up for shooting like, one, maybe two arrows. And is a sniper.
Bastion is mostly interesting for her ties to Diana and Victoire, which promptly got ignored and now she's just another sniper.
Marquis is best sniper. Which is the most boring thing to watch in a fight. He's my runner up on style alone.
The Mecha Maids.. I don't know how to place it, but somehow their supreme faith in how if everyone follows their orders, they'll surely win this time, bothers me. I have the same problem with Victoire. Also, more fucking sniping.
Alexi is my own character, so I'm not a particularly good judge.
Cherry is still fresh. Not a lot of showtime yet.
Bonesword doesn't really feel like a machina. Sure, he fights for them, but he doesn't really feel like a machina. Same deal for Alexi, really.
Emu is.. well.. she was emotionless. And she becomes emotionless whenever ice queen butts in. So, eh, she's had like, one half of a scene that almost developed her character? At least she's got a nifty powerset and inspired Artoria?

@Mega Birb Syphax's first battle was him getting batted around by Windy after taking shots and doing nothing in return from swordbot. He was all like "I'm gonna be air juno!" and was more like "I'm about as effective as Miyu, but I refused to die or hurt my own team, at least". Much better* showing this time around, but still. His first appearance was not that great.

I don't remember Zac bragging. Could be wrong. And he managed to pull it off by ignoring the first two-thirds of the battle to smartly wait until everyone else was injured.

Zeruel was very nearly the first casualty** and barely damaged one person.

Gwynn died to zombies after getting trashed by Grafdakka and Aqua.

*he was one of my favorite combatants this round
**not in a dead sense, but in a "Sir No Longer Contributing to this Battle" sense
