@Lmpkio Once upon a time, I thought I could make Miyu relevant. But then I learned the golden rule of the nexus "The Strong get Stronger". There was no room for someone starting weak to advance fast enough to catch up. And I also learned that all the cool unique powers I had in mind for her to learn were actually just basic level angelic magic that everyone in my faction had access to, but didn't use because they had better stuff. There was no way to become the "Angel of Unity" in the same way that Juno is the master of Gravity and Space, or Ciel is the master of Stars.

Also, as I said last time, it's foreshadowing. If you want your proper appellation, make your own summary.

Unit-T swats Miyu out of the air. Miyu is dead.

Without Inner Demon around to actually play BEAST, Miyu is more or less legendary for being worthless in a fight.

Summary Redux

Machina have a factory, it has three super exoskeletons and might build more. The angels have a fortress, angels, harpies, and valkyries. The demons have corrupted machina.

Ciel made things windy. And unless it's as windy as Windy would make it, it's hard to imagine why anyone would care. Apparently it was exactly windy enough to tear off parts of the hardened building but not adversely affect any of the machina players fighting in it

Eos kills some of the corrupted machina.

Greg keeps pretending anyone but Birb's other characters when jobbing care about Greg by trying to jump in and taunt Eos, and hits some lights with a thingie.

Torag runs at the factory with angel army in tow.

Nanite swarm begins eating and shooting bullets at Torag.

Lucile kicks Artoria into the battle

Mephila portals into the factory. She kills some of the non-corrupted machina and severly brutalizes an innocent wall to shreds.

Unit-T deploys to the fight outside the factory.

Henrietta cuts her way into the factory, and then fires a rocket at Unit-T who just flew out of the factory.

Ananta magic-blocks the nanite swarm bullets.

Eve tries to stab a nanite swarm. Hopefully she remembers to turn herself on fire before she gets eaten.

Lillian stands at the factory entrance and yells that she can heal people.

New Summary

Ceil continues breezing and punning, bombards Cloud and Unit-T with debris.

Eos lasers the debris that was about to power up Cloud. And traps scientists who have no fighting capability and have already done everything they can inside the doomed fortress. She power of song boosts the machina and sends androids at Greg.

Artoria planny plans.

Hibiki takes Alpha, Shizuka takes Beta, Hibiki takes Gamma. Which is completely pointless as they only function as one combined whole. Huh. Hibiki fires at Ceil while moving around. Shizuka fires bullets at Mephila.

Cloud takes do damage from incoming attacks because idiots keep thinking physical attacks work on nanites. Attacks Eve with nanite whip.

Grafdakka arrives and underground charges at Torag, full power chainsaw drill mode. Fran infiltrates the fortress via dragon.

Mephila uses anti-holy shield, then lance attack's and shield rush.

Unit-T lasor shoots the missile down. Destroys debris with laser breath.

Greg fights six bots while attempting to annoy Eos. Success?

Torag takes the bullets that someone else already blocked for him. Attempts to take Graffdaka head on.

Eve gets out of dodge

Lillian comes back inside to try to record Greg's powers.

Lucille bullies Artoria more, Deva bullies Ruxen.

Ananta continues being Snakemom to Torag, saves him from another attack, then goes to punish the mean god-killing robot that almost did him in.

Ciel bombards KC-00032 with meteors. Aquila bombards Grafdakka and Unit-T with debris. Hoho shows up to say hi. Eos encounters processing errors and forgets to post.

Artoria steals Gamma, begins pouring an entire Gates of Tartarus worth of Lava inside KC-00032.

The Cloud attempts to set the defences of KC-00032 against Ciel's star magic while firing energy weapons at angels but mostly at Torag.

Tartys flies to KC-00032 and fires at the defenders.

Henry destroys speakers, and sets Victoire's demon flowers on the facility. Captures some rogue energy from meteor impacts. Snipes at Hibiki.

Hibiki attempts to blow up the explosives stored inside a dimension she can't access, where time doesn't pass. Sniper bullets plink off her armor, then joins a biker gang, fires anti-portal mirvs at Henry. Shizuka blocks lance hits with shield, creates monomolecular wire trap, while charging energy.

Miyu supercharges the meteor shower at the likely cost of making the angelic fortress explode, and then jumps at the KC-00032

Eve sets herself on fire and hurricane dives at Henry.

Henry solves all her problems with silver eyes, except that of getting tackled by Eve, who's probably pretty splatted by now. Makes smgs.

Miyu, Traitor Angel Honorless Blade

"Yoo ho harrr! Cap'n Miyu has arrived to steaal shit and cause excessive collaaateral damaaage!" Miyu cheerily said, with a bit of a slur that actually worked alright with the fake pirate accent, raising a saber towards the KC-numbers foundry. One had to wonder where she managed to scrounge up her pirate outfit. Possibly homemade? Regardless, she had not one but two robots(? Beast was still in the air) available to her today. But she didn't intend on fighting with them. Instead, she stomped her foot grandiosely on the Angelic Fortress, sending a surge of angelic energy through it, and then linking it to the meteors Ciel was throwing down upon the enemy. The defenses that the Cloud had alerted would now find the meteors much tankier targets, being reinforced with whole of the Angelic Fortress's strength, their material strength made one combined whole. This excessive Mantle of Unconquerable Sun casting took pretty much all of Miyu's magical energy, and would only last a short while, but, what with the meteors only needing to be shielded for a few seconds before they landed, it'd do the trick.

Now the meteors could not be destroyed without so too also destroying the Angelic Fortress. If even one of the meteors managed to collide with the Machina installation, it would be as if the very Angelic Fortress had been dropped on them. Also, conversely, the Angelic Fortress would be damaged as if the Machina installation had fell on it. Kind of a big down side there, but Miyu wasn't one for thinking about the consequences of her actions. The lessons of the Battle of Alt Signia were very lost on drunken Miyu, and eh, given the fight was on the enemy's territory this time, maybe it'd be alright.

Regardless, Miyu didn't want to be standing on either structure when one or the other exploded into monoatomic vapor as a consequence of her magic. "Fooourrward me hearties!" She kicked her Daimyo off the top of the fortress, whose had configured giant sails out of its shields, catching the hurricane and becoming a very unlikely flying vessel, at least for a quick glide to enemy fortress. Miyu herself was splatted unceremoniously against its back, unable to fly correctly while drunk in a hurricane, even a friendly one. Regardless, the idea was be on their way when the meteors hit, so that if the meteors and the Angelic Fortress won, well, they'd fly right through the now destroyed fortress, and if the Machina Foundry won, they wouldn't be on the Angelic Fortress when it exploded and might make a dynamic entry to be able to steal some stuff.

@Mega Birb The post literally above yours tells you the answer to that question is "no".

As far as I recall, time doesn't even pass within the Gates of Tartarus, because the plane exists entirely to store things. No need for time to pass within it. So, in retrospect, it makes sense that it wouldn't have an maintenance energy cost.

I took "rain" to mean "A whole lot to the point you can't dodge or escape, like the rain" and "over KC-00032" to mean "over all of KC-00032, so the corrupted machina that are in other battlefields, or maybe in the angel fortress, are fine".

I really can't seem to get it right with your area attacks, I always play them as too weak and you get irritated about me ignoring them, or too strong and you get irritated about me dying.

Regardless, doesn't matter, my plan for using them would have been fun, but ultimately wouldn't have changed anything. It would have just established that the base had anti-port measures, and that there were ways around said anti-port measures. I was going to have used corrupted machina to damage the anti-port measures and then port in, but given there aren't any, it'd just be pointless setting fluff.
