"... Eeep.." Artoria said as she scuttled a bit backwards. "Yeah! It's totally ready now, yep, I'm off." Artoria's statement was not very reassuring.

Tearing open the fabric of space, Bunny Ears, Fox Tails, Pangolin Claws, and Magpie Wings at the ready, she flashed into the room next to the room with the Gamma suit. With Hibiki distracted by fighting, she wouldn't likely notice Artoria in time, as she both wasn't in the room with the Gamma suit, and rather than try to disengage the security mechanisms, try to wear the suit, or any of that, Artoria simply sucked Gamma and that entire wall between the two rooms into her Gates of Tartarus in a fraction of a second. And once inside the Gates of Tartarus, which had a stasis effect and a dimensional barrier, it would likely be protected it from Hibiki's explosives. Now, the suit was still rigged with explosives (even if prevented from exploding while within the Gates of Tartarus), so Artoria couldn't use it, but neither could anyone else unless they could reach into Artoria's Gates of Tartarus. @Ryonara

Then, she teleported to the top of the inside of the fortress and then Artoria surrounded herself with outward facing gates, sending hundreds of tons of superheated demonic lava with evil Valkyrie fire everywhere. By gathering up demonic lava that was already tainted, then charging it further with Ira's Black Flame and Mephila's pyrokinesis, then storing it in the stasis of Gates of Tartarus, Artoria had a rather potent combined charge up attack that she could store up massive quantities of. She had been doing this, poking her wingtips and tailtips through portals, while lounging in the throne room.

With her endless deluge of evil superheated lava, which was the only thing inside her Gates of Tartarus other than Gamma, she hoped to melt as much of the factory as she could. Hopefully she'd at least get the sound system.

A. You want Ruxen to tag along on my port? Sure.
B. The Gamma suit destroys stuff? I'm not sure how seeing time doesn't pass inside the Gates of Tartarus, but sure, no problem. I'm 100% fine with that.
C. Well, it's going to be really hard for the corrupted machina to do anything seeing they were rendered to ash before anyone got a chance to post.

@Lucius Cypher You forgot the other half of Machina losses, "And then Victoire's roses killed everyone." but the Machina have yet to deploy any herbicides.

So, I wrote up this post, then I realized, if this factory doesn't have a reactor, or, for example, Eos is right next to said reactor, it doesn't make any sense. So, does this post make sense? @TheWindel@KoL

Then, she teleported to the reactor room, which was no doubt heavily guarded. It was not exactly heavily guarded against "Deluge of Supercharged hell lava", as it seemed all of the Machina heavy hitters were fighting on the factory floor or outside. Artoria surrounded herself with outward facing gates, sending hundreds of tons of superheated demonic lava with evil Valkyrie fire everywhere. By gathering up demonic lava that was already tainted, then charging it further with Ira's Black Flame and Mephila's pyrokinesis, then storing it in the stasis of Gates of Tartarus, Artoria had a rather potent combined charge up attack that she could store up massive quantities of. She had been doing this, poking her wingtips and tailtips through portals, while lounging in the throne room.

Her goal was to wash away all resistance, and all controls by which the Machina could interfere with the next part of her plan, as well as set a trap for any who would come and try to stop her next, what with the room being a sea of evil lava. Now, all that was left to do was to send demonic energy straight into the reactor to attempt to corrupt the entire facility at once. Unfortunately, this probably meant Artoria was going to be in a direct contest of power with Eos which was something she really didn't know whether she could do. She had wanted to charge up a lot more demonic energy, but... Waiting around next to Lucille seemed like a terrible plan. So, with Ira's wings upon her back, she placed her hand upon the reactor, and gave it everything she got.

@Mega Birb But here's the problem with A. That's Graf's strongest attack. If that dings off of you, what now? Grafdakka can flail around, but he can't hurt you. It's like if a stuck tank's main armor piercing round bounced off you for no damage, what's the tank gonna do next? Pepper you with the machine guns?

The last time that happened, in order to stay relevant, Graf had to retroactively say "er, but wait, that attack wasn't the FULLY charged version!"

@Mega Birb@Lucius Cypher In this case, I'd have to vote in Grafdakka's favor. Because Torag's plan revolves around Grafdakka's weapon being able to be taken on his pauldron, when Grafdakka's chainsaw death shred weapon is probably larger than Torag's entire body, or close enough.

It would be like saying you're going to deflect that incoming semi-trailer with your pauldron. Also, Machina vs Angel when this seems to be a sheer power contest. It's also offense vs defense, where offense usually seems to win in this thread. Even before Torag launches his attack we have one of the following:

A. Torag's Armor is stronger than Grafdakka's attack.. Torag still gets pushed back and can't execute his strike.
B. Torag's Armor is stronger than Grafdakka's attack and he can't be moved.. Grafdakka's splats like a banana thrust into Torag's Armor, which is not a relative power level I'd be too happy about seeing.
C. Grafdakka's attack is stronger than Torag's Armor.. Torag gets torn up a bit and thrown back because he got cocky.
D. Grafdakka's attack is stronger than Torag's Armor and he can't be moved.. Torag gets blenderized. I'm not sure we want to go this far, but if I understand the situation correctly, I think it's what should happen.

I mean, this seems like a straight up contest between "Angel Armor whose special power is self repair" and "Machina Attack whose special power is space tearing god killer charge up attack that has been fully charged".

@Ryonara How exactly would one use a wind directly opposed to you to curve your shots? I'm not sure how one would make bullets tack into the wind.

"Youch!" Artoria said as she was whacked a few feet, tumbling onto her face, her phone that she was messing with carefully caught before it could smash against the floor. "Er, hey! I was totally being useful, or something! See, I'm um, ... Checking the visual feeds from our spies to pick the right point to strike at once my Gates of Tartarus finish filling with supercharged lava!" While a few hasty swipes on her phone made it seem unlikely that that was actually what she was doing before she held the phone up for Lucille to see, it was definitely what she was doing NOW. And the Gates of Tartarus filling thing was true. That was a power that needed some prep time to reach its full potential. "You can't just chuck me into an enemy fortress, ok well, yeah you totally could, but you can't if you want results any better than usual. I'm successful because I'm all smart and planny."
