Also, question everybody. This is supposed to be a last man standing fight... But why exactly are we fighting? I mean, we're all coming here to find Helena, so, is there any reason to actually attack one another?

Previously, why Miyu's spirit got crushed:

"I've been picking out gifts for everyone, and I don't know a lot of the higher ranking people very well, so I wanted to run what I've been thinking about by you, specifically for Deva, Juno, and Ananta. I got Juno this snake kigurumi. It's green sadly, but when the light shines off the scales right it's got a purplish tint, so there's that." Miyu held it up and tried to get the light to shine off it correctly before putting it away. "For Ananta, I was thinking an electric rock. Well, boulder more in her case. I'm just guessing she would like that on account of being fairly snake. For Deva, I was thinking about a wing grooming kit, but then I realized that I'm not sure those wings I see in the pictures of her are actually hers, or attached to her body, and they definitely don't have feathers on them. I'm not sure why I thought that was a good idea in the first place."
"The World's Serpent is not the most exigent of being, you probably would be best served by giving her something she can eat, but other than that anything might do; it's not like she will teleport you to the void for talking to her. Ananta is a little more complex, but to my understanding any gift you give her with a sincere intent will be well received; she has been the caretaker on many an infant, if you care for something more specific. In doubt, I think you can bring her something edible as well. As for the Imperator, probably icons of adoration, I think the best on could be anointed oils, for her feet which are quite special for her. If there's anything you may wish, don't hesitate to make it known, please."

I wanted a beach with catering that's neutral, and all the results I've found so far are either glaringly dangerous, or not neutral. One person I talked to told me about a nice place on their home plane that would work, but I don't exactly know how inter-dimensional travel works."

The Nexus is a world of war, endless and boundless, such is how it was created. To ask for unity is to stand against the very purpose to why this world was built for. I'll not do anything to stop you from pursuing your cause, but neither will I offer my help since it violates my role and oath to my Lord. If that helps, I wish you luck in your task." Was all that the dark archangel would say before going back to her vigil.
Miyu paused for a moment. Not in a sort of "waiting patiently, taking a breath before continuing" but the "Sorry, Nexus Browser has an encountered an error and must restart" sort of way.
"Let me get this straight. We're not allowed to leave without permission, implying we're imprisoned or else not generally free. Final victory is also theoretically and not just practically impossible, because this world was created for endless war, and such a victory would end that. I need to go drink a lot, maybe before my next long term memory write. Later, thanks for the assistance." Miyu seemed demoralized. And in a hurry to leave. And go drink, but she said that bit.
Currently, inside Deva's Audience chambers:
"So, what's with the big hullabaloo about her saying she's gonna twist our loyalties with dark secrets? I mean, it isn't much of a secret that you're intentionally jerking us around with an eternal war. Iona just flat out told me. It wouldn't bother me at all at this point to learn that the secret of the Nexus was that it was all just a game by you, Deva, to strengthen up some warriors to then eat the souls of. Of course, I don't think any of us have gotten stronger in any significant ways except by your blessings, so that doesn't really make sense. My money's on it being some higher being's game of amusement." Miyu showed up to Deva's audience chambers. At least she wasn't drinking this time, which was a slight improvement, instead she appeared to be.. eating soup in a bowl made of bread. After pausing to take a bite, she continued.
"I mean, are the details at all interesting? I might go along to hear, but it's not like I'm worth a damn in a fight. If anyone's gonna prove the worth of lower class beings, it's going to be someone with skill, power, a blessing of a higher class being, and spirit, of which I only ever had one and I gave it back because I'm the worst person to give it to."

Miyu took that to mean that the Nexus was created for eternal war. Why would you have a war in which the goal is not victory? If the top levels are puppet mastering it all for their own amusement or to harvest fighting spirit or generate warriors or what have you.
Miyu made the leap of Eternal War -> Nobody is Meant to Win -> Deva has been lying to every angel ever -> I have no reason to fight.
Miyu might be interested in meeting Helena for morbid curiosity, but her loyalty is already low enough that she'd fight for Deva's enemies if they bothered to so much as ask nicely. She's not expecting her loyalty to get even lower than that somehow.

That was new. The "Planetary Militia" didn't do "missions". We hid in bushes to ambush lone trucks or squads. We resisted the Outer Colonies or Earth Sphere forces when we bumbled into each other. But a mission? That sounded like we had a purpose, like we were gonna make a difference.
Captain addressed us all from atop a crate of something that probably exploded on a good day. "We've got some actual intel, that the Outer Colonies are going to be making a push, and that means their artillery, Regulars, and air support will all be accounted for. There are some defectors, at Camp G60, up along the ridge, that gave us this intel, and they want out of their Outer Colonies conscription. It's a camp that should be held mostly by conscripts, and hopefully, that means we can get them on our side, just by defeating their Outer Colony overlords or with a show of force. Our Loaders may not be real military machines, but they still bristle with guns. Now we finally get to use them." The Planetary Militia had finally managed to scrounge together or buy enough Loader's to really make a strike force. Only five, but still, no infantryman wanted to be up against one, much less five.
"If everything goes perfect, you are liberating the camp with as little violence as possible. Defeat any Outer Colony Regulars, free your fellow Eleosians. Then work with them to haul as much back here as you can." It was a bit idealistic of a hope, but they were fellow Eleosians who had been conscription. It wasn't too much to dream or hope for that?
"If things don't go quite that well, your job is to evacuate those who informed us and anyone else who wants to be on our team, grab whatever critical supplies you can, and get out." Captain lowered down a bit, speaking with a bit less of a spring in his voice.
"If things goes as bad as can go, blow up as much as you can and make it out alive. We've got a cave to retreat through that you can get in, collapse the entrance, then make it out pretty close to here." A rather more grim prospect, but, it had to be said. A few moments of silence passed, before Captain raised himself up and spoke tall again.
"Alright, so I have no idea how to command a squad of Loaders. Tenzin, Olivia, Follow, Riley, Speedball, Emmanuel, who's leading your team, and what kinda back up you want? We've got some trucks, a mortar, and a few teams of infantry I can think of off the top of my head, but if you want something else, I'll see what I can scrounge up."
