I'm fighting my procrastination to try and keep my daily posts at 1.51 instead of 1.50. I didn't realise it'd be this much of a battle!

Ok everyone. Luminosity has decided that since she's focusing on RL stuff she's withdrawing from the RP, so there is no need to tag her in posts anymore.

*Sniffles*
[...], making well written posts (some might want to re-read to get the correct wording for certain things, but not too much of a big deal), and you've got good characters and effort. [...]

Can you please PM me if it is me you want to address or not ? If I want to improve my posts (what possibly could be necessary - English is not my main language) I need to know it for sure ^^

I bet it applies to me too, which specifics would also be nice
@POOHEAD189

a) Eugh, don't remind me. Bloody vampires running around talking all the time and being diplomatic. That's the real problem with them, they stop everyone from being barbarians and having fun with wanton murder. Hogging up the session with useless things like story. It's the worst

b) I understand you asking us to check with you before we post, but honestly it's pretty impractical to message you before every post and wait for hours for a reply (not your fault, different time zones.)

Perhaps if you made these things clearer in your posts? Like describing the rarity of these items a bit more precisely, for example how none of us should know what Guaren juice is if it's so restricted. Or what the necklaces actually look like instead of being a nebulous object, I wanted to describe it and only said they all looked different so people wouldn't be locked into one option
If I remember I'll probably post either late tonight or tomoz, if people think I'm rushing things a little bit feel free to stop me and gove other people a chance to keep pace
There's already food on the table ? Damn it seems I've forgotten that, too... Someone remind me to let An-Hasst go berzerk on it :)

An-Hasst you have permission to engage, give 'em hell! They'll wish they'd never been cooked!
Hopefully everything is fixed... (fingers crossed)
@The Fated Fallen Erm, aren't we already at the eating table? I was under the impression that everybody had sat down there, and then the food was presented to everyone before Vanya came in. Just thought I'd mention it, since you mentioned Settionne actually heading towards the table.

Derp, typical of me

I'm super tired, it's hardly an excuse. Thanks for pointing it out (goes back to editing)

Edit - And I totally forgot someone else had already approached you (I want to sleep now...)

Edit Edit - Except not you, @Lacks's character asoinfaonbgojnASfojbasfjonbADGjobadgjon (I'm such an idiot and then everyone is always like "Don't be so hard on yourself," and that's really annoying.)

Edit edit edit - Way too many emotions in this post, I'm too tightly strung at the moment. Except I'm not in comparison to almost everyone I'm just being a baby
The priest immediately stood up to serve himself half the food on the table upon prompting, further cementing he was unused to court etiquette. Alice reminded herself none of that really mattered here in this group now, even as he shoved as much food as he could slop on his plate with the decorum of a farm animal. She allowed a few more of the company to serve themselves while she busied herself removing objects from the new elven silk bag and placing them in her own satchel and pack. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate the craftsmanship, she would definitely be keeping the bag, but because she already had a place for everything and couldn't be bothered to sort everything out. Upon completing her quick task she moved to sit over in front of the individual that interested her the most; the one that had introduced himself as Yaroslav.

As she seated herself she got a better look at this man. From a distance she could tell he was short, standing well below the average human, which could be attributed towards his almost frightening figure. He seemed to lack substance in all physical aspects, and his darkened eyes that never seemed to focus on anything explained his predicament. Likely another soul who fell under these dark times, who's been struggling to find an opportunity to find himself again. Alice was unsure of how much knowledge he really knew, let alone would be able to recall upon demand, people like him tended to have lost one or two marbles along the road. And quite a sum of coin and dignity probably she thought, concealing her small amount of pity before it reached her face or voice

Despite all this she had smirked at his jest, showing he was more astute than he looked. She recalled too well the sombre attitude of magical academies as appose to the lively and adventurous attitude of the elite she had studied with. He certainly looked like he didn't belong in one of those places though, his having been out in sunshine was evidence enough of that fact. She affixed a smile upon her face and introduced herself, "Hello, Yaroslav. I am Alice Peerbane as I'm sure you heard, Andred are you? How are the arts over there, I confess I have never been long in those parts." She did her best to suppress her Vrettonian accent. Though she would assume a man of learning would be above prejudice, it was always best to assume caution around the subject of the animosity surrounding the two states. "At the very least I can't remember the brooding school being officially recognised, though I know it was well practiced among many mages." She followed up with in a light tone and started serving herself small portions of this and that, being the first to the food was normally a masculine role in the courts but she doubted a man who looked as such as he did would bother to recognise it let alone be offended.

Loving all the posts btw, we've clearly got some talented writers among us!
Almost all the assembled reached down in unison to find the bag aforementioned, sifting through the items as Princess Vanya listed them off. All of these items were of extremely good make, and the enchanted ones can't have been easy to make. Missions like this one must not be a one off to have prepared enchantments to these exact specifications. Alice had drunk some of this Guarden juice back in the courts of her homeland, but it had never been for her really. It had a cloying fragrant taste to it but there was no doubting the revitalising properties, with every drop drunk aches seemed to disappear and it felt like you stood that little bit higher and straighter. She took a sip of it there and then, to help relieve her of the journey here. Pretty quickly her senses snapped back from their fatigued state, she lowered and stoppered the jug.

Alice went back to her original article of fascination, of which was the enchanted necklace. She rolled it in her hands delicately, though she knew it would likely be the toughest thing in the room thanks to the magic fused into it. Every one of them looked to be a different design, and were likely made by different mages (or one who was bored by the idea of making identical items over the course of a year.) Alice's design featured a large and deep coloured amethyst with small points of some sort of silver inside, shimmering as it moved like the night sky. It was a truly remarkable item that would have captured her heart had she seen it anyway, let alone with it's powers. She calmly fastened it around her neck where it fitted nicely and hardly expected it to have much of an effect in a room like this, and her attention was too quickly back on Princess Vanya to test it.

She seemed to speak to the strangely short Giant about a question Alice had glossed over "You've not been to the Southland for long have you? We have Elvish steeds, yes. But we would need them back, for they are fine beasts and could not follow you into the dark. However, I can teleport you some miles away from here, to where you shall then link up with my Half sister, Verya." Half sister? Alice dismissed the curiosity, and listened further "She and a small contingent of Rangers will guide you to your next destination. This is where it becomes more of a problem, for we do not exactly know where this Dark Elf city is, but we know how to find out. The Lizardfolk of the region have the most accurate...maps of the Southland, both above and below ground. You will need to infiltrate one of their Megaliths. There you will find the proper route to the City state known as Dar'kvallen." That sounded like fun. Shouldn't these rangers already have maps from the Lizardfolk? Either in preparation for this mission or just for their own reference. Alice once again didn't bring this up, though it nagged at her.

"Now, if you've any more questions speak up. You have some time to eat before you must go. Do so, and get to know one another. Your lives will depend on you cooperating. Not to mention the lives of those dwelling within this city." Alice didn't raise her voice, she knew she'd need as much time as possible trying to learn about the others. She was sure they had long stories worth the telling if they much cared to
