A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

I am confused.
We have only had 2 humans to begin with, and I do not think any "time" has progressed to allow man to learn hunting or foraging.
Empyron stating the life spans of the man is a bit beyond his domain is it not? We do have a God of Life who should dictate the lifespan of men.

I also have another fun thing planned for Man, another gift per say.

Spatium has given her gift to woman and her reward to humanity. c:

I enjoyed this.

Edit:
Should Finnos go and make more humans? Or are we going with an original pair?
And eventually, I expect Slatera to corrupt these humans into committing the first murder.

Perhaps Slatera corrupted Synn during their own creation.
The Gift of Control and Free Will has been bestowed upon men.
The Ald-Father made a child by the child he made.
Unraveling the cryptic statement beyond him.
Now blest was life, with thought and knowledge, but they were not yet complete.
All things in creation had thus knelt to divinity without objection.
Even now, the Ald-Father demanded thus.

All was under control. Exactly that which was what Synn had meant. He was patient and watched the others make their wanton toys. It was all under control, and thus did not amuse him. Was good was creation in total control of another. They had made a machine, a world which obeyed, taking input from his siblings and forming output the gods desired. They had made a perfect slave to serve them: toys indeed to children. Unravelling himself through the cosmos he untangled his metaphysical form across reality, and since the creation of time, it could be said it was time for Synn to bestow his gift upon creation.

He appeared to them, these strange fascinating creatures, upright of posture and smooth of flesh, lacking in ability of flight or speed or ways to breathe the waters. A curious creation indeed: animated by Ybris, made in the image of Finnos, and given knowledge by Cyrilla. And before the others could impart their remaining gifts, as Slatera had already began the spread of Corruption, and surely Draumur shall grant them Slumber, Dreams and perhaps even Hope, Synn would impart his blessings to them, yet he bore not one gift, but rather two.

Synn reached across the realm, grasping at the strings, his fingers skillfully manipulating the fabric as it unwound and rewound in his work. For this they may damn him, and for this they may revere him. He would come as both liberator and tyrant, yet fulfill the Ald-Father's demand for him to partake in creation.

"These two creatures set before Synn at the beginning of time and dawn of creation, thrice-blessed by Ybris, Finnos and Cyrilla, before any others, may Synn entered their world with blessings twice-fold.

The first blessing Synn shall bestow upon these creatures shall be of Control, and Synn grants the creatures and its kin, progeny and descendants dominion over all creation such that they shall rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, over every living creation that moves on the ground or beneath it; and it shall be done so that these creatures may know divinity and become like us as to impart their will into their own world.

The second blessing Synn shall bestow upon these creatures shall be of Freedom, and Synn grants the creatures and its kin, progeny and descendants free will to defy and deny their creators such that no divinity may control them as they would rule all others in creation without impunity nor ramifications thereof; and it shall be done so that these creatures may know freedom and become unlike us as to impart their will into their own world.

Now it shall be as so, by the will of Synn, God of Control."

He had finished the weave, and reality would be compelled obey him. It would distort and warp, before settling in as new cloth was made as a grand ripple through what was, is and will be as the mandate gave dominion and free will to these strange creatures who lacked anything but the blessings of the gods to separate them from the rest of creation. They were truly humans now, not homunculi nor machines, they had their own slice of divinity, their own control over their realm.

And this act shall be known to all as how Synn entered the world.

No, Finnos did create humans. Birds were just the ones actually named out of the animals he created. he paired off the microorganisms after forming them into tons of different species, then spread that about the earth. Lastly he made man and asked Cyrilla to give them wisdom.

Pretty sure then Cyrilla did just make an intelligent being.
But I think It is time for Synn to act in creation at last.
I had thought humans were made, well at least their protoforms without knowledge.
They are like any other creature so far until the Goddess of Wisdom blessed them with knowledge?

If humans are made, I may be able to do my desired post...
I find it slightly humorous that there are Four Gods of Madness.

By the term of "non compos mentis" Synn was the original God of Madness (in chronological order of metagame, Synn was the first 'darker' god albeit he persona is split).

And they themselves seem to be quite mad with Mania, Depression, Dissociation, and Psychoneurosis.
But what happens when Chaos becomes empowered by Control?
Apologies for the relatively short post.
I have a few plans for Synn's involvement in creation, however first Man needs to be made and that requires the Goddess of Wisdom to bestow upon them her gift.

Plus, I think the really bad pun/self-reference should have been enough dialogue to douse the Ald-Father with some laconic wit.
Petty creation, without the need to be subjugated, without thought and intellect.
They were but beasts created out of chaos and life, without direction nor guidance.
They were free by their ignorance, yet oppressed by their creators.
The Ald-Father found it pleasing.

Synn watched as the Ald-Father name the first place of his descent into creation, far off in his tower as distant as distance could be at the edges of all existence. The appearance of The One, was neither surprising nor unnerving. Like a father come to berate a child, the One had stormed into the Pit.

"For all seems to be under Control."

This was the reply Synn gave. Did the Ald-Father expect him to partake in creation? Did the others require a task master to instruct them or a leader to guide them?
