A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

Solider nor purge could win. This is correct. Gabriel influences fate itself with his power to make a fatal attack miss. Hence they would be unable to kill vampires at all. What is stopping Bedivere is simple. It is as he said. War changes nothing. One battle proves nothing. Humanity will survive and fight on at massacre for fear breeds hate which brings rebellion. To crush hope and throw them into despair places them under the yoke. This brings change. Let's let a GM decide on what should happen.
Darkness is localized. Hence he cannot travel across the country continuously at his current speed as in crossing outside of the field of darkness he would be unable to retain current speeds. His ability is also only retained at night, which is defined by the presence of natural sunlight. Hence while he could travel across the country using his speed, he can use another power far more easily to appear appropriately (his water travel abilities). And of course that is the point of the debate isn't it? You have science and I have magic. attempting to explain magic with science is tedious at best. As even you have yet to provide the formula which sustains life, (I may do so actually with having a Purge scientist, already working up on the concepts, I'd reckon it would be a throwback to modernized alchemy which how Crowley refined a sample for Bedivere. A similar process could be used to create the unknown formula. Although explaining the science of it's mechanics is tedious at best.) As for the localization Currently it is over Kilo Point, and removal of his presence from Kilo Point, and hence Excalibur, would slowly return the area to its natural order of light. Doing the same to an entire country would take far longer, and cause much greater concern. Hence please do not find the set up in creating a battlefield of darkness (especially at night) so unreasonable to do in 2-3 posts. I mean your purge members managed to do far more in 2-3 posts with your machines in setting up the battlefield after all. Anyways, we are in limbo.

Molecular alteration relies upon forming the base atoms into a cylindrical shape. The tiny cylinders of air in the blade absorb the kinetic energy, allowing for incredibly brittle materials to gain the flexibility of traditional steel. This is not science fiction, this is something we're doing right now, in order to develop advanced ceramic heat shields on spacecraft, as well as in the creation of tank armor and in Plasma Forges (which need to be resistant to several thousands of degrees celsius). Boron Carbide IS harder than diamond, however it is significantly less tough. It is highly brittle, much like glass, and as such not suitable for anything like a blade. Using this technique however, it is quite possible to create the blade I mentioned. The blade is not monofilament, as monofilament describes a rope-like structure only a single atom thick. Instead, it utilizes an edge that is only a single atom thick, which lends it it's high cutting capability. The entire structure is thousands of atoms thick, besides for the edge, where it grows progressively thinner until it reaches a single atom in thickness. Actually, the electromagnet is embedded into the 'sheath' of the blade, placed at the hip of Onikage's suit. The blade itself simply has a small dose of magnetized steel placed within the hilt. This does not interfere with the sturdiness of the blade, and does not require a power source. In fact, I wouldn't even really need to use the entire space of the hilt to make this a feature, realistically. This blade is completely feasible in our own modern world. With the technology we posses right now, we could build it. The only reason nobody has is because it's a highly ineffective weapon in any realistic combat situation. We don't tend to fight many vampires in the real world. The exoskeleton is perhaps the most sci-fi thing. At this point in time, we already have direct mental interfaces, and more advanced ones are even now being developed for use with long-range drone combat in the military. In fact, we're so far that mental interfaces are going to become available in the game industry soon enough. However, you're correct in that creating a perfect interface is far beyond our current level of technology. But it doesn't have to be perfect. Just better than a human being's normal reflexes. As anybody who's studied the composition of the human brain would know, our current system for the translation and application of signals is far from perfect, using a series of chemical and hormonal triggers in order to properly translate the signal. A purely electronic method would work much more rapidly, about 50x more quickly than any organic method could hope to achieve. The batteries are the only unexplained thing. I will honestly admit that I skipped out on the issue of energy containment, and this is most likely the greatest problem facing modern exoskeleton development now. However, we already have batteries capable of lasting multiple years when powering important facilities. I'm pretty sure Kami no kage would need to recharge his suit on a daily basis, based on the application of these batteries as an advanced power source. Of course, more details could be added to this, as I myself have not entirely thought this aspect out. My friend, any particle has mass, and anything that has mass is incapable of reaching the speed of light. The reason light itself is capable of doing this is because it exists as a wave unless interacting with a Big Particle. Not even the smallest particle could reach the speed of light, because to do so would require an infinite source of energy. Light breaks these rules, due to it's very nature. And if you want your transformation capabilities to extend to subatomic particles charged with inherent energy, then I believe that's something you should have mentioned beforehand. No offence, but had your character not manipulated things the way he did, this place would be brighter than day. Not only is half of the city on fire at this point, not only is there the constant flashing light of gunfire, but I have several tanks quite literally firing massive beams of fire all over the place. And yet, each of these things are instantly dampened by your apparent capability to generate the absolute darkness you need at-will, even in the face of such great sources of light. I did not intend for this to become a fight, and I still don't want any offence to be dealt or taken. I simply find that your character has shown to be far more powerful than I believe such a character would be allowed to be.
Well that is an interesting reply, however, the lattice is still difficult to construct and in such cases my question is does the structure make sense? You have a diamond monofilament blade with enough flex to consider it as Ti. However, what is the need for making a blade that is as hard as diamond if it is a monofilament edge (hence why I refered to it as a monofilament blade earlier as the functional portion of the weapon is indeed a monofilament) which how would the crystalline structure work with the monofilament portion as well as the lattice construction. I do not specialize in the molecular physics making this possible, however I am skeptical the interactions are 100% guaranteed even with the advancements in technology. while true, a purely electrical synapse is fast, it is also bound to be sensitive. It depends on how the interactions are made. Just because we do have such technologies, are they to such an extent that we have mapped the interface between what signals in the brain to move? That is, is our understanding of the brain so far advanced that we know exactly which parts of the brain to attach sensors to interpret the pathway to the effectors and in parallel move the corresponding metal jacket. While chemical messengers are slow, they carry the messengers through the entire partway, far before the electrical current occurs (as they trigger the electrical components mind you). Hence the neurotransmitters would be an interesting idea to follow. Returning back from the superscience, how does one explain science when dealing with supernatural abilities and forces. And of course I would manipulate the battlefield to be in my favour. Just as you have your holy water mist, I have my darkness. As for the darkness, it has already lingered on long enough to have engulfed the light (at least 2-3 posts) and as no one in the battlee had realized it ICly (everyone seems to be ignorant of the flames which produced no light, I'm not even sure how humans are even finding their way around frankly as light is being snuffed rather quickly). The darkness is a byproduct of Excalibur, which is his weapon as he has yet to use ranged weaponry. But yes, our characters are quite powerful. But again, I have placed clear limits on him, it just happens they do no currently apply due to the time of day. Facing Bedivere in the day, in sunlight is far easier than facing him in the night, in darkness. Can the same be said of your characters? Anyways, for now as it stands, I'll consider tinkering a bit with Bedivere's abilities. But even so, why are you concerned with my character? I am not concerned with yours as he nearly 1 hit kills another PC. Please take no offense in the verbal joust here, but let's be realistic here, did you have plans with the NPC character you made? If so, I'll edit my post to not kill him.
Bedhivere, you're being silly. Assuming the difference between you and whats-his-face was about 100 meters, and you traversed that distance (and killed him) in a thousands of a millisecond, you would be moving at a speed of 100.000.000 m/s, which is over 1000x the speed of sound. You're reaching the speed where your velocity would create a sufficient increase in mass that it would force a gravitational flux, ripping apart half the base. I know we're not going ultra-realistic, but I think for the sake of balance, as well as base logic, we should put a limit on characters who want to move at Mach 300.000, or anything similar. Darkness or no, that's just plain silly.
Oh please, don't talk to me about realism and balance with all your MechSuits and tech toys. Using a blade made of Boron Carbide would be quite literally attacking someone with a sword made of glass, yet by some advanced super science you have managed to forged a monofilament blade with boron carbide, which again is a crystalline structure but I do not believe it is harder than diamond as that would be Adamantium at that point, so I am not sure how it this applies unless you have somehow managed to so much molecular manipulation with the creation to tubes to give it the flexibility of steel? I'm not even sure how this would even work as it is still a crystalline structure and as such. Then you also have the electromagnetic components within the blade itself, which would also alter the composition on a structural level, and it also evidently can be remotely activated and the power of the magnetism changed by running current through the electromagnet, that must be structurally embedded in a monofilament, crystal sword. You have an exoskeleton with a direct brain jack into you which has absolutely no lag in processing the signals and I assume, moves fluidly rather than robotically. Such technology would require more than just having several electrodes in one's brain and perhaps even use chemical sensors to directly interact with the chemical signals rather than the neural impulses. Then again you would have to be able to detect exactly which path of messaging the brain takes to signal an effector, then splice into it to have the onboard CPU to quickly also move the mechanized components in union in perfect timing with the brain for fluidity. Furthermore, some undescribed power source is onboard as well, at which is described only as a small, advanced power source. Unless these are some form of super-advanced batteries which will eventually need to be replaced or charged, is your character literally backpacking around a mini nuclear reactor? As for the speeds Lord Bedivere moved at, in total darkness at night time, he does as he said, becoming the light. And thus, moving at speeds of light before reformulating. Do not forget that changes in mass can be accounted for by his shapeshifting abilities (which is not restricted to animals mind you, as such he can become an elementary particle which retains his consciousness and abilities before changing back at the destination instantaneously while the sudden change in form would contra the momentum which would have been my argument as to why he didn't just send the man flying back but could rather hold his throat and throw him down) which again is a product of It being the evening (he loses such ability in daytime, along with his gain in speed and power, hence why I believe he is extremely balanced in nature as he is bound by the clock). However, that being said, I can see your concern with such abilities. But in my defense, it requires total and utter darkness as the gain is based on an exponential curve, and as such even a fraction of light would prevent him from doing this, and since no one had stopped the darkness from taking hold, unlike lady MO who did dispel the fog/smoke/mist, it seems perfectly reasonable that he is empowered thusly. Then you have Gabriel who, literally can influence the fates of mortals as a "natural" supernatural ability. Now come on, you can't have all the powerful characters in the roleplay. But shall we let the GM/CGM decide on if I should edit anything?
If I had more time on hand I'd make another character. A scientist for the Purge, who is none other than the descendant of Dr. Faustus or perhaps Dr. Frankenstein...
Still waiting before posting.
Lol, the Purge wrecks face against vampires. SOLDIER might have stood a chance, but against an enemy who can't even touch you? Will post for Onikage tomorrow.
Silly knights. Clearly they have never eaten crab legs before.
"You are far from saved. Merely sustained to be a plaything." The Raven replied curtly back, surveying the scene once more atop a tree. It seems the battle had finally begun as three forces collided into one playing field. Humans, Heretics, Vampires, Hunters, and Vampire Hunters and Hunter Vampires, to what end was the carnage? Faith was a very powerful tool, a weapon even, as over the years Lord Bedivere had learned the four tools of domination and dominion. For puppets one merely needs to use strings, weak but materially tethers to animate that which had no will of its own. For animals one needed to use chains, a stronger binding with which to subjugate them to understand their subservience. For men one uses faith, a false promise which corrupts them into doing deeds beyond their own knowing. For Gods one uses reason, the logic which conquers their own twisted conceptions. "Your side will need to retreat until their cavalry comes. But when it comes, what will there be left of Kilo Point between the vampires and the mad men? I believe Old Gabriel is to be thanked for your life. I merely quickened the recovery. But names are unimportant, lest you have a request for your headstone when you lie as dead as the humans you serve." Pitiful young blood. Mindless, poor examples of vampires proper, who like rats in a plague attempted to breach across the line of Purge men. Useless were they in fighting the hunters, their tactics should be more concerned of destroying the SOLIDER base rather than distracting the Purge from doing the same task. A commander amongst them was clearly evident as the from the metallic masses rose a goliath cyborg to rouse his heretics to stand against the vampires. This was most impressive, a false promise to turn the tide of battle and even Lady Mo had gotten into the fray with her command over wind and grass. With a flap of darkened wings, Lord Bedivere the Raven disappeared, by the call of the raven's caw, it was finally time to kill. "No, Pretender Knight, This is the Devil's hand in sight. And in the darkness of the night, it is I who is the Light." A cold pale hand grasped itself around the giant commander Vincent's neck as he scarcely heard the whispering retort catching up. Crucifixes were silly things to Lord Bedivere, rather useless in facing him which may have surprised the Purge giant as no visible sign of strain or duress was given by the true knight. In all their faux armor and even their absurd neck straps to prevent the snapping of necks by regular vampires, they had forgotten a simple rule of martial armed combat. Perhaps if they had been real knights, they would realize a simple flaw in their Servomotor Suits and all that armor they wore to protect their soft flesh. But thick and heavy plates were of no match to a good mace, a force not made to cut or tear but rather embedded. With a sudden tightening of his grip, a sickening crunch of metal and cartilagous rings collapsed unto itself as the man's throat was crushed in the vice of an ancient vampire's power. Airways became closed, blood vessels ruptured and the experience of death was but moments away as the elder finished the job by ripping out the man's throat entirely with a swift yank toward the ground. Vincent would fall hard, being the giant he was but rest assured he would have entered systemic shock long before any physical trauma was added upon the impact of being pulled to the ground as one's body attempted to follow one's throat like a cretinous beggar clinging on to a golden ring. "Martyrdom makes a man of no skill, no talent, and no ability, and will make him more useful in death to his fanatic cause than he ever was in life. Had you any skill, talent or ability, they would worship you as god." With this blasphemy did Lord Bedivere leave the giant to die as he suddenly returned to his roost as a Raven again. Did anyone else scant see or hear him? In unparalleled darkness which cloaked the battlefield to become a moonless, starless, lightless night, Lord Bedivere was beyond the measure of power they had known. His speed made the kill happen in mere ten thousandths of a millisecond as he rushed from his perch and back, there was not enough time to anyone to react just by the basis of human reaction time alone. Even advanced sensors and technology which would certainly perhaps register his presence for but a moment could not produce output to react to the data of his presence before he was no longer there. Only his voice was heard, ominous and foreboding as the giant laid dying of blood loss and suffocation. A strike to the mortal. To crush a throat of one man was to kill. A strike to the morale. To crush the hopes of all men was to rule. Now then, let lady Mo continue the battle as Lord Bedivere returns to being the sentry upon high. Strategically manipulating the physical realm while surely Gabriel the old fart was playing at the metaphysical odds.
Not sure on how the character would reply. On one hand, he would not give the traitor his name so freely, let alone one who did not recognize him (although he has been rather reclusive to only be largely active in the UK, hence may explain the lack of recognition here). Along the same line of logic, there is no need to fulfill such a request from a foe who had just recently been bested and humiliated the vampire kin not only in his betrayal and association with the humans, but also by falling in battle without having put up a significant battle. Thus it was unworthy of the younger to even know of his name, let alone speak it. On the other hand Lord Bedivere's pride may be outraged from the lack of recognition. Then he would go into a lengthy monologue amidst the battle as to who he was and how dare the knave not know him... Finally, Who did save him? This is a philosophical question of ideologies. To the elder, the vampire was not truly saved until he joined the proper side. Similarly, he could argue that whoever sired him was the vampire to be known as his savior from being human cattle. Then there was the question of Gabriel's influence which may have been involved due to the proximity of the vampire to the battle. And finally the creator of the Cure (which was formulated by Crowley after the human occultist borrowed certain texts from Lord Bedivere).
