A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

I wasn't being serious.......

I have that problem where I cannot seem to detect sarcasm/facetiousness
Hence I tend to take people rather seriously to the point of escalation.
Which, as you can imagine, gets me into some trouble in communications.

See, it turns out the Purge and Bedhivere CAN see eye-to-eye on some issues. They should form a blow-Void-out-of-the-sky club.

But it can't be blown up now without MASSIVE retcons.

They have entirely different motivations.

Purge is here to eradicate the vampires.
Bedivere is here to keep the humans from agreeing with the Purge.

Hence if Void must be destroyed, he must be destroyed to keep the sheep from making too much noise and alert the shepherd.
@akje

Silver bullets would do nothing. Although they're probably using hollow-point rounds to maximize the damage. If you manage to destroy the brain, you kill them. Other than that, nothing will bother them.

Also, I always thought there was more to turning someone into a vampire than biting them. Like, they have to drink some of your blood as well, or something like that.

But all these fledgelings aren't going to be biting anyone. I mean, if you were suddenly attacked and turned, would you go around spreading vampirism? Especially with a group of soldiers shooting at you, you're going to be running like crazy. They'll lie low until they get hungry, maybe return to the locations that meant something to them in life.

Also, wouldn't slaughtering the Fledgelings be illegal? I mean, technically speaking, they haven't broken the Compact. I'd think there would be some moral compunction to slaughtering what are essentially innocent bystanders.

I had always considered the same. Or at least some sort of gestation period before they are risen.

I played with the idea of MI6 calling up Bedivere again.
Bedivere answers the phone: "I am trying to get some sleep here. This better be worth it or else I swear..."
Then they tell him about the currently Plane Crisis.
Bedivere: "Blow it out of the sky, British Airways will get a check from the government to compensate for the plane. As for the humans aboard, they are not worth the ink we will sign the check with. Now Disturb me one more time, and I shall personally come down there and demonstrate my Ire."
@akje

The purge hasn't moved on the site yet, they're advocating the entire area is obliterated. They wanted to destroy the place before it landed. But from what has occurred, we can presume that for whatever reason SOLDIER chose not to do so, despite the offer made by Kami.

I'm planning on having the Purge fly in on the location, perhaps have a couple of Paladins. Carpet bomb the area with Holy Vapour, wipe out the newbloods and weaken the oldblood significantly, then move in with ultraviolet visors. Of course, this depends upon how well diplomacy works out between SOLDIER and Purge.

Say, would you mind having agents of Purge communicate with Martin?

Purge secretly works for Michael Bay.

Problem?
Solution: MOAR 'SPLOSION!
To me, it seems like there are very few people who could have stopped Void from boarding that plane. The choices where to attempt to kill him while he's in the middle of a city, and thousands could die simply from his plagues, or to attempt to stop the plane. And assuming that individual corporations may exist from the government, it'll be hard to shut down the airport on such short notice.

I agree.

It's not what happened, but rather what will happen that will get Bedivere angered at Void.

But something about lambs would be appropriate here.
Why would he not be able to board the plane? Does London prohibit vampires from boarding planes?

The issue isn't why he would be unable to board the plane my friend.
Any vampire can go board a plane, nothing is stopping them, it is not like Bedivere keeps tabs on every single existing person in his country to the point of knowing every bit of information about them. No, this is a task for entities, not singular beings.

Rather the fact that he had boarded the plane as a vampire which shall cause international incident.
Hence the implications after the event is Bedivere's issue. Not the event in itself.
On the political level, it would cause intrigue and cast a negative light on the state of the Isles.
As such, Bedivere would not enjoy the international attention.
Now he has to clean up the mess... By perhaps making more of a mess.
Bedivere will not enjoy Void's act of vampire terrorism.

The plane after all did leave from London. Hence would begin to the question of how did a vampire board a plane in London. A city in a country which has banned the Purge and works minimally with SOLIDER as they place the MI6 to deal with the issues to avoid national sovereignty issues.
Two men in the woods without pants. So.... many explanations.

Pants were optional on Friday.
Whoa whoa whoa..... since when am I Co-GM?

Is that a thing that happened?

That just happened. Just now.
Matthew and Magnus want mostly the same thing...except Magnus wants it much more violently. :p.
