Smiling internally to himself, the elder watched as Mithias scolded his first. The boy had much to learn about instilling the proper amount of fear and respect. It is a fine line between charisma and its darker counterpart. Just as the preachers of old used hell and suffering, plagues of death to convert the masses, what good was an empty threat? The Hallowed words were Hollow. Patience Bedivere, your first was hardly obedient.

"Yes, I do believe it is that time again Mithias." Bedivere remarked casually putting his watch away. "The rest are getting worried it seems. Now then, Hank is it?" The man would feel the point be slowly drawn back. "It is a shame we could not meet upon happier terms, however, I believe this is a mere introduction. As such I expect to see you more, and perhaps the next I must leave you within an inch of unlife to make sure do not meddle in our affairs. And the Kido Corp does a lot more than that probably.
It's just Kubo hasn't fleshed out their role well enough.
Like during the whole Quincy Arc happening now, given that Bankai was pretty much useless... I wondered why Kubo didn't just say "Kido Corp team GO!" And pretty much destroy the Quincy within the first few chapters. Or frankly, my theory is that somehow the whole Bleach plot will just get a Deus Ex and Kido Corp Commander from 1000+ years back shows up all of a sudden, wave Hi to everyone and say "Okay, so... Since we really can't just beat the Quincy... I'm going to fix everything here by simply reversing the flow of time such that the events happen in an infinite loop, and Ichigo and friends wakes up to the chapter. Cyah you all a few centuries from now... Again... and Again."
