Mark Theron is a sizable man by most standards, having both the frame and the build appropriate to his overall scale which edges just over six feet, four inches. Robust, but not excessively so, he has the sleek musculature of a person gifted from birth by fair mixture of Asiatic and European ancestry. Having a fierce stare, his green eyes accompany well his short kept and black hair, he displays a fair amount of pride in his person, being both clean and well groomed; cleanly shaven. Tanned from exposure to the sun, he prefers to wear nothing but black cargo shorts, a loose white tee, and practical shoes, accenting them only with dark sunglasses and carrying at most a backpack. Distinctly, Theron boasts an ornate tattoo from the right shoulder and down the arm, ending just before the cut off and a silver necklace about his neck.

- Personality -
Mark is the sort of youth who was scolded for thinking too much, not for lack of practicality, but for musing on and dreaming bigger. If presented with the option, he's fond to daydream, sleep or set himself to a pressing matter he decides is of worthwhile effort. He holds a rigorous code for himself personally and believes only that he himself knows what is right for him, seeing life in a spiritual light, and at best considering others' opinion... at worst becoming outright aggressive if they continue to press; not one to hold back a physical confrontation if it comes to it, Theron is much more pleased if people just let him do as he wishes without interference. After all, he's keen to remind them he has a reason for anything and everything, even if said reason is not obvious to anyone else but Mark.

Often a loner by these virtues, he prefers to contribute in his own way without direction and is the sort who is still always willing to be present, but only out of obligation if he's not fond of the idea. When speaking, he tends to be aloof and potentially condescending if there's any reason for him to not grant the minimal social graces.

- History -
Theron himself is not wealthy, in fact not personally owning anything of value or mention, but his family has strong ties in both industry and economics that stretches generations back. This grace has never been in excess, he himself moderating what he does take, yet there's little obvious direction in his life beyond just simply seeing what the world is as it is. Not a photographer, journalist, or anything of the sort meriting such an adventure as seeing the exotic world, he lives on the humble ideal that this is his one and only life. His family has the means and is willing to provide, not too suspicious that their dreamer keeps dreaming, but other motives unquestionably find themselves in play. Whatever they are, Mark is not one to share them...

I make my rounds, @Carantathraiel, but I will never spoil where my true haunt is, only allowing the mystery at hand to continue. I should also have those pictures here by this evening, but who knows the quality? We will see if any are even workable. I am certainly no photographer.

Some of it is by voluntary efforts, others is just knowing the right people who have the access or the facility, some of it is simply a zoo or menagerie, @Darcs. In this case, the lynx compound was a private rescue and breeding site, but the large site was an exotic-big cat breeding facility, specifically the Mojave site.

From one desert to another, all on business, but there's ample time and reason to visit any place of feline importance. I went to California previously just for the expressed reason of going on effective pilgrimage to La Brea.

Not to appear without reason or stir up ancient rivalries yet, as my reputation might precede me, I am curious if this is still a potential plot in development? If so, what of other supernatural forces, if any? Your answer might draw me in, but I can understand if you would rather keep it to just this lot. My main interest was to provide an opposing force and presence... nothing overwhelming, just a challenge and threat beyond humanity.
