Rumors: Joshua was sent to the surface to learn about the superhuman threat, and to lose his temper.
His father, the son of Aquaman and reigning king of Atlantis sent him.

Shifra Vaharan Kamal Mechamaha "The Snake"

Known for: Vaharan is the Shifra, شفرة or Blade of his Lord. The title of Shifra has a long Tradition in Meda-Chaba as being the Lords and in old times the kings, personal duelist. In modern times however the position evolved. The Shifra is still in most cases a very skilled fighter, but mostly the person who keeps the court of Meda-Chaba in check. His duties include hunting might be traitors, destroying conspiracy's and sniffing out spy's.
A part of his fame could also be described as infamy, since he has a reputation for his frequent use of the Pillar of Mutawah, one of the most cruel execution techniques ever devised by man.
He is also known for his superstition.
Dirty little secret: Some say Fratricide is the one sin that can't be forgiven...
Skills: Vaharan Kamal is a very skilled duelist. That being said he is much more comfortable fighting in a one on one duel than on a real battlefield. As the Shifra he is also very skilled and experienced in the dealings of a court and keeping it in check.
Motto: Be like the Snake, be fast, be poisonous and you will only need one strike.

Position: In the east, bordering the badlands
Specialty: A very arid region with only a small coast in the east, Meda-Chaba is not the most fertile of lands. However it is famous for several things, for one its wine which is considered the best in the entire empire and its horses who are among the fastest in the world.
Meda-Chaba is also one of the provinces where slaves are still sold and bought in large numbers.
History: Founded by Nechala, who was crowned the first of the Hakim, or Rulers, Meda-Chaba only grow in power and influence over the centuries.
Meda-Chaba fought waliantly four kings ago against the invaders from Emperiat but still lost. The people of Meda-Chaba had a hard time being subjugated, never really feeling like a part of Emperiat.
That changed with the last King Anderis, who was considered the best king by the majority of Meda-Chaba and is still mourned and missed. He is the main reason Meda-Chaba has hope in the new King.

Capital: Madara Hakim
Since generations the seat of the kings and now regents of Meda-Chaba. Famous for his woman and wine, it is also home to one of the biggest religious buildings of the continent, the Rrab-Wasi, a gigantic temple complex for the Paragons of Meda-Chaba, especially Hakim Nechala.
