I'm just your average New Yorker. A guy who thinks he can do more than he ought.

Yorker only throws out half the story. In truth, I wanted to stick around and enjoy things with everyone. Yeah, we were having an argument, but of course I thought it to be a civil one that should've been dealt with. Instead, Yorker just left mid conversation. The argument was about having me wait for a little while instead of just putting out a wasteful post that contributed nothing to the plot or current going ons.

York, I'm not clinging to anything, nor am I making you out to be the bad guy. I want to stick along because its a good story and I want to develop my own character with everyone elses. You haven't had to drag me anywhere, but its pretty obvious now that I'm not wanted. Here's the chatlogs if anyone wishes to throw out their own opinion.

It's true that I didn't include the chatlog, but that was because I felt we didn't need to drag the OOC into our argument. I don't see how including the other cast members into the discussion is going to help anything. I came to a conclusion which I feel perfectly comfortable with considering the context of the situation. I stand by my statement that you became unduly apathetic, and in fact I could say far worse about your activity in this RP. I have certain standards that I'm not willing to compromise, and apparently so do you. This led to a set of dividing opinions which I realized could not co-exist.

It's a shame that it had to come to this, and I wish we could have worked this out together. But, as I said, I'm nevertheless comfortable with the outcome, and I'm afraid that it's too late for an appeal to the jury.

@The New Yorker That's a shame. I was hoping they would stay around. Though I guess it can't be helped. I very much look forward to the next post from you and FBK :) .

Does this mean the cast list is now full?

I don't think the cast list will ever be full. If another intriguing character comes along I would be happy to find a means to include them in the story.
That was beautiful, @Fairess! I don't think I could have imagined anything better myself.

I want to take this time to thank everyone for the hard work they've put into making this RP a possibility. Just as the Captain's lies are shedding, my obfuscations should come to an end as well. I've tried this RP before and it failed. I don't want to jinx this or anything, but I feel like this iteration is better. I was able to learn from my mistakes, and I was lucky enough to find myself an excellent cast; and a loyal and talented cast besides. We're on track to outlast the last iteration soon in terms of plot progression, which I consider to be a good thing.

There is some unfortunate news I have to share, however. @SirBeowulf and I had severe differences of opinions which led to his retraction from the cast. These differences were apparent on both ends to be irreconcilable. It's an unfortunate but necessary end, as I see it. I don't know what has become of @Danko, but he will probably also be removed from the cast list.

This does mean that the next plot point should come sooner, shortly after FBK makes his post.

If anyone feels like they have something else to write before the next major plot post goes up please let me know. I'd be happy to accommodate you.
@The New Yorker Is there any word back from Danko? Also is the BrassOtter still going to join the RP?

No, and I don't know. Danko is the cast mate I was referencing last time.

Aye aye captain! Making edits and it'll be up with your approval. Any word from Fairess?

Yes, it isn't clear to me where she is in the process of her next post, but I'm not particularly worried. If much more time passes I'll reach out to her again.

And, no need to get my approval. I've made some edits to my responses so you can just re copy those and post whenever you see fit.
Aww Luke will be our youngest character!! The baby of the bunch!

Well, the baby can appear in a post whenever he pleases. He's been included in the cast list.

I believe Macabre and DM are nearing the end of their collab, and Beowulf and I are working on one of our own. I still have yet to hear back from one of our absentee cast mates. I'll be forced to remove him from the story next week if I don't see anything by then.

Quite an interesting character, and quite the interesting CS. I'll accept him.

You can add Luke to the Character tab, and then I'll add him to cast list.
So, I've made some space in my RPing schedule. Though, if I'm being honest (which of course I am), I plan to start school again during the second part of the summer. I don't think it will hinder my RPing much, but you can never be too sure about these things.

Either way, I wanted to briefly apologize for my earlier hesitancy: Sorry. I'm sure you understand.

Secondly, I wanted to know if now would be a good time to inject Gregory back into the story. I haven't caught up in the IC entirely, so I'm not sure where you are currently. But that can be ascertained rather easily; can't it?

Isn't it obvious that I'm staying? I'll say it then, I'm sticking with this rp. May our futures be full of rp.

Obviously wasn't obvious to me. Obviously.

Good to hear that you're staying. You can PM me with any ideas you have.

And then you learned that I put all of my points into strength. Wes is one strong motherfucker, and while yeah, I doubt he'd be able to spin it around like a quarter staff, I'd assume he'd be able to lift it at least. By the way, refresh, I fixed the links.

The lance is made purely of Ebony, seeming to be more for show than anything else. It's not really refined for combat by any means. As I said, I'd be happy to discuss this with you more at length once I know your intentions considering your interest in this RP.

Images: Just cuz I made a reference to Dark Souls doesn't mean that's what this is. The size is about right, but the color, shape, and design are not very accurate. SUPRISE= you may have to just use your imagination.
@The New Yorker, I thank you for going over my post and fixing my errors. As a GM, I know that I am supposed to follow the rules--like anyone else. As you may/may not know, English isn't my first language and I am not using it as a excuse. I am working on ways to improve my grammar over the summer break. Thursday will be my last day of school and I am doing finals until that day.

Which means that I will be able to overlook and improve my grammar this summer. That's one of my goals. Again, I thank you for doing this and I promise that It wouldn't happen again.

I'm afraid you'll have to consider that my resignation letter. I find myself suddenly, and completely, disinterested in the story. There's nothing that can be done about it, unfortunately. I wish you all the best, and hope your future prospects are successful.

Have a great day!
