The idea was to go off the learnsets. It's when and how we learn new moves that was the issue there.
If we go with the idea that your Pokemon will know moves up to level x in their learnset or that they know the first x amount of moves in their learnset, then it's kind of solved.
But we need @AbysmalDemon's say on this matter.
I think what's more important is how he becomes a breeder... Like a character suddenly becoming a breeder out of nowhere is strange, jarring and makes no sense for instance, so the motivations behind the event and the other factors are far more important.

Well as a Pokemon Breeder it's, I'm actually fine with that.
You really should have just said so to begin with, it wasn't a secret worth keeping.
@1Charak2 You could just release them and they never stop following you. Then you catch them when you need them for battle and just have them travel with you.
I honestly am still against it. I think it should only be allowable if you're going down the Pokemon Breeder route, seeing as their job is pretty much to take care of a large amount of Pokemon at once.
There was also an explanation in the Special manga too. This was posted from a forum thread discussing this. Here is the thread.
"In Pokemon Special manga, it was said that there is actually no limitation about how many pokemon a trainer may carry around at one time. But there is a fear that trainer cannot equally split the care and love among each pokemon within his/her team. Therefore Pokemon Association set a rule (or more correctly speaking the Code of Ethics for pokemon trainers) saying that pokemon trainers should at most carry 6 pokemon each time. Carrying more than such number will be deemed as irregular and will be despise by the community. Official pokemon battles also adapting this moral rules, so pokemon battles under the official regulations is limited to using maximum of 6 pokemons only."
So, the practice of carrying more than 6 is also looked down and frowned upon. I'll let it slide, but you're going to have to think about it a bit more maybe.
In any case I don't think one should be allowed to carry more than 6. It wasn't even possible in the game, and the anime only has very few exceptions to this.
But are we going to iron out the entire moveset leveling thing or not?
Yeah, you misunderstood what he meant by 12, he meant 12 to carry around... Which isn't physically allowed. The bloody anime forces that shit out of your hands and teleports it.
Although there is a lot of backlog. I'd like to ask about Zygarde and/or Rayquaza.
And then there's how we're going to be handling movesets and levels. We really need to put this on priority.
EDIT: RP is full, but this guy is the only guy who is going to be starting with one of the custom starters it looks like?
Is 12 Pokemon on a route a good amount?
