That does make sense, yeah, although I did have the idea to reword it within the lines of making him considered a 'Dragon' while this Noble Phantasm is activated. This is due to his legend as being called a Dragon, both by others and himself. The armor is not only the famous armor that he was known to wear, but also represents the crystalization of his legend as the Azure Dragon of the North.
I had an idea of actually giving him a skill to represent this. This idea stems from how Oda Nobunaga has the Demon King skill, which is technically a variation of the Innocent Monster Skill, except she also called herself a demon as well. Of course, in Masamune's case, it would make him take on more of the characteristics as a member of Dragonkind. In the end, I scrapped the idea of giving him a similar skill due to balancing reasons, seeing as Oda ended up being pretty OP,
I guess, but he can still function with his other noble phantasm active while under the effects of this one. So it would likely just be a balancing thing. Considering.

Abilities
Charisma: C The natural talent to command an army. This rank is suitable for the general of a country's armed forces.
Eye of the Mind (True): B A heightened capacity for observation, refined through experience. Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.
Military Tactics: C+ Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
Protection of the Faith: B A Skill possessed only by those who have sacrificed themselves for a religious view. Despite being a form of divine protection, it is not a blessing from a higher existence. It is only the absoluteness of one's body and soul, which is born from faith. But if it is too high, it causes abnormalities in the personality.
Class Skills
Independant Action: A It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master.
Magic Resistance: C Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

Description: Archer was most proficient in swordsmanship superior to the likes of Oda Nobunaga, however like the Demon King he preferred the innovative works of firearms.He was unrelenting in his assaults, while leading his troops in the siege of Osaka Castle, Archer decided that his front-line ashigaru peasant warriors weren’t fighting as hard as they could. So he ordered his riflemen to move up and fire two volleys regardless of the front position to maintain the assault.
This feat manifests as ten powerful muskets, capable of damaging servants. They materialise around him and continually rotate, giving off a constant stream of bullets, with each musket taking three seconds to reload. Archer is capable of moving them essentially anywhere in the nearby vicinity to fire from anywhere, although he is limited to only firing in the same general direction, or at the same target. He is capable of using it from either a standing, long range position or while rapidly moving around and engaging in melee combat with his twin katana.

The light blue armour of Archer is one of the most recognizable forms during the Sengoku Period and gave him one of his nicknames: "The Azure Dragon". He normally goes into battle without it as it would reveal his identity due to its colour and trademark crescent-moon helmet and prefers to utilise its power to quickly overwhelm the enemy and destroy them in a quick burst. This is also due to the faxt that the armor takes a tremendous amount of prana to maintain extensively.
While the armour reduces the damage of any attack of B rank or below to at least 70%, its true power is to act as a powerful 'Dragon Reactor,' temporarily making him akin to his nickname, a member of Dragonkind. His Endurance, Mana and Magic Resistance is boosted to 'A' rank while additionally granting him the equivalent of Prana Burst (Lightning) (B) However this armour has a vulnerability to Dragon Slaying weapons.
The + modifier is added when Archer is summoned in Japan. This causes Date's right eye socket to glow blue, and gives him the equivilent of Breath of the Dragon (Lightning) (C) when this Noble Phantasm is activated.
Appearance:
Archer stands at 5'9 and weighs enough pounds that a Servant of his fitness and build should be.

He's an Archer that can handle himself in a melee. If his Phantasm needs nerfing, ler me know. As for his stats, he is one of the Knight classes, and he was also a formidable warrior in his time. He also survived a time of war through his whole life and died of natural causes in the beginning of a time of peace in Japan, which is why his luck is above average. If any nerfs are needed, let me know.
I suggest reducing the Magic resistance to B as he doesn't have the blood of the dragon which is what gives such immense magic resistance. He just has the dragon Reactor.
Probably. Not that the thing will see that much use and I'm not going to keep track every small hit the thing takes like when it gets banged with a sword. I'm not sure why this is a pressing matter though Jeanne's on our side.
Just in case, after all the wish isn't going to be that strong spread across 7 people... also, Don't measure individual sword strikes that is just dumb. But do measure anti-fortress/Anti Army. That's probably a good idea.
@1Charak2I'm assuming it's strong enough too take at least one or two powerful noble phantasms at this state. She isn't ruler but the phantasm itself hasn't changed.
Okay so 2 Anti-fortress seems fair thats 6 anti-army or 300-720 anti unit or 3000-7200 Basic attacks

Yeah? Isn't that a given for pretty much any servant not with some stupidly powerful ridiculous ability in the fate's verse? I don't see what you're trying to argue here I know Jeanne isn't going to be winning entire battles against more than two servants on her own. All I'm saying is your focusing on the barrier phantasm too much.
What I was trying to do was quantify the barrier, When does it break? when should it Break? That's what I was trying to ascertain.
Because after that barrier breaks, shes left with her sword and her skills. Weakened but certainly not out of the game.
If you say so I think you're grossly overlooking Jeanne as fighter on her own merit personally.
Again. This has nothing to do with fighting Skills. This has to do with defensive capablitys. Jeanne, Like any saber can be overwhelmed. Shes not a one man army. Shes not Iskandar or Gilgamesh. Shes not in her Ruler state. She uses Mana, Her Master doesn't have an Infinite Pool. She doesn't have Independant action. So irrevalent of her fighting prowess. She can and will be overrun with time its an inevitablity. Just like how Kiyohime can't hold her dragon forme. Neither can Jeanne hold out for eternity.
@1Charak2You're overlooking Revelation, and protection of faith in her normal state with the Sword of Catherine. What she lacks is any decisive power attacks what she has in spades is defense, and buffs. It isn't just about using that flag she's powerful without it.
no no no. Once the Flag is gone, you've removed her greatest defense. At that point its only a matter of time before shes overwhelmed. She's lost her crutch to stand on so to speak.
I didn't mean it'd be instantaneous. It'd be much quicker though if you did that too her instead of someone else though. As for how you'd get to her that's something for the enemy servants to attempt.
Considering the flag can't regenerate. Just bombard her fortress until it falls. The phantasm appears to be a once per incarnation thing with a long lifetime of usage but once it's gone. It's gone.
Lets say it can take up to 3 Anti-Fortress attacks regardless of parameters.
Considering Anti Army is third of Anti-Fotress. It can take 9 Anti-Army attacks Considering an Army is comprised of at least say 50 people.
It can take 450 anti-unit based attacks at least and 980 at max.
And say regular attacks are one tenth of a phantasm at best. it can take 9800 basic attacks from a heroic spirt before it falls.
It'd take time if their name isn't Jeanne who has Saint.
Not even Jeanne should heal that fast. Its more of the fact, how the hell are you going to injure her in the first place with that flag. I say give it 2-3 days before healing unless expedited by healing magic.
@1Charak2I'm giving each master more or less a mini free pass on that in this regard. Everyone can somewhat heal the servants but it takes time and isn't instant like Iri's.
huh so If I broke a servant arm (possible) they can heal that off rapidly?
