Current Need info, so might as well throw a bottled question into the ocean of statuses... What are some features/ideas/etc. that YOU want to see in a monster taming/raising game? All genuine ideas welcome.

@Dane, I need you to talk to a physicist and a psychiatrist, in that order, twice.

"The worst thing you can do to a character is to make them aware that they're fictional." Ironically, the character who would say this is from an RP I'm not in anymore... Funny, that.

Just like in JJK, explaining the joke makes it funnier. Luckily that's built into this one.

Jimbo that's not right. Humans are a social creature, there's not a single one who can truly survive on their own. Even those who seem to be able can only do so because they learned from others.

I think so. Do you?

Yep! And it's time to start learning the intricacies of hand seals. You'll need to learn how to build up chakra before you'll be successful with this, but basically your goal is to walk across this lake. It's the same principle as the tree running, but since the water moves and flows, and isn't solid, it's much harder. The Tiger and Ram seals are the most useful single-seal ways to charge your chakra. Use them and focus on filling your body with chakra, then direct it towards your feet the way you learned to from tree running. Then try to stand on the water and walk as far as you can. That's the gist of it, and this is the final "basic" method to improve your control.

Given I don't know everything about every power they're each training for, step by step with real-time until they get a basic and then jump to the next step.
So say someone doesn't get it, then realtime for a while until they start making progress, then skip to the next step.

Alright, but for now since you know what they're aiming for and it would take a long time would you like to skip to when they can call upon that mental state?

Thank you. I aim to exceed all expectations.

Think you're ready for the next step?
<Snipped quote by The World>

*Attempts to stop halfway and begin moving again*

Oooh! Good job! Standing sideways is a bit harder than running since you don't have momentum helping you, and your progress has been really impressive, too!
@Stabby
do you want to timeskip or actually go through the training step by step, and do you want to do it realtime or with jumps to each step?
<Snipped quote by The World>

Alright. Let me...
*Sprints at the tree, running a few steps upward before wrapping my legs around the trunk to hold me in place, and cuts a notch into it*

*Over the course of several days, with rest as needed and to study the hand signs, you begin to improve your natural ability slightly and eventually your control of the sensation becomes enough to climb halfway up the tree*
<Snipped quote by The World>

I see. How would you prefer I begin?

Just start running up the tree until you get it, basically.

Suzy: *Just after you finish talking I take off sprinting to the waterfall, throwing my jacket off to reveal a swimsuit of the same co underneath.*
Samantha: I hope you have some changing rooms available, because as far as I know she's the only one who's ready to do that in an instant. *Gives a look to Salvador.*
Salvador: *Grumbles and rolls my eyes before going to pick up the jacket.*

Jack: Sure thing, but there's no need to change out of your clothes, we could simply dry them quickly when you finish, but the door to your left... *Points towards the door where the exercise machines are* will lead you to some changing rooms which will have all manner of sizes of all manner of clothing, including swimsuits.

Have some faith in me. I'd love to work on higher level techniques.

Alrighty! In that case, let's give you some self-study. *Hands you a leaflet* While some jutsus normally require a multitude of hand seals, proficiency with the jutsu can lessen the number you need, potentially all the way to not needing any. For example, one jutsu requires forty-four hand seals, but a master can use it with only the final hand seal in the chain, and I personally could use it without any, though this is slightly more draining than using even a single seal.
*Hands you a knife that's very sharp on both sides* You'll be using this for your next step. Your goal is to climb that tree without using your hands. *Points to a tree that's several kilometers high with no branches below the top* Every time you get to the apex of your climb, before you fall down, make a cut on the tree. That way you can measure your progress. Obviously, the secret to this training is to gain control of your chakra to the point you can fill your feet with it and use it to stick to the surface of the tree.
<Snipped quote by The World>

I think this training is beginning to click.

Good! Then we're about ready to begin the second step. There's a bit of learning to do so we'll repeat it as we go through your next step. By moving your hands in certain ways, you can better control your chakra and manipulate it into doing certain things. For example...
*My hands flash together quickly, too fast to see more than a blur and I take a breath before breathing out fire away from you*
That's a pretty simply technique, generally referred to as "jutsu" when talking about chakra based techniques, specifically the "fireball jutsu." I'm going to be teaching you the various hand signs as we do your control training. If you're confident, we can move on to the next level of control training, or we can continue with the leaf if you'd rather keep things low-key as you're learning the signs.
