I'm assuming that the female uniform comes with a skirt due to the mention of cropped ones, or is that an addition that some make?

Practically double-posting but I whipped this together quick after seeing the trend. Took a rare Arcana and a pretty powerful Persona, but anyways...

Persona: Echidna
Personality: Born of the "Faith" Arcana, Echidna represents belief in oneself and others. Being the child of the gods of the sea and the mother of all monsters, Echidna is one who puts her faith in her children, her creations. Nonetheless, she is the mother of monsters, and can represent that role quite well.

Ultimate Form: Tiamat, the personification of salt water and primordial chaos. Another mother of monsterkind, Tiamat can be considered one that does not deserve trust as the inverse of the "Faith" Arcana might represent.

I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be able to write an occult obsessed character as well as I would one who's only dabbled in it, and since I was using that just as a springboard anyway, I dropped it entirely.

Personality:
Tsubomi has a deep resentment for humanity which drives her to constantly try to improve in everything she does. It's in part due to this that she has trouble asking for help no matter how desperate the situation, as she feels that if she can't solve a problem herself, then she just has to try harder. In spite of this, she is overly trusting and gullible. She is quite competitive as she views it as a way to prove herself. She dislikes authority and self-righteous people. She also despises insects and insect-looking creatures with all her heart.

She is very quick to anger, but usually can control herself before doing something she shouldn't. Though that's not to say that she's above beating someone up for a deep enough cutting insult, or especially for attacking her physically. Still, Tsubomi usually dislikes fighting unless it's to protect someone weaker. She doesn't like weaklings, but recognizes that they still have room to grow, so she protects them from those who have squandered their potential by becoming the type to prey on them.

- Sword Fighting: While not formally trained, she practices using a wooden sword daily.
- Improvisation: Tsubomi is a quick thinker and is good at using things in unorthodox ways.
- Anatomical Knowledge: Due to her desire to become a doctor when she was younger, she knows the most effective ways to hurt, harm, break, and kill things.

- Physical Reinforcement: This Echo can strengthen Tsubomi and her weapons to make them more effective in battle.
- Flames of Heaven: Being associated with the sun, Samjok-o can manifest flames to burn away its enemies.

Brief Backstory:
Tsubomi grew up in a very lax household. When she was young, her dream was to one day be a doctor, and her parents supported this. It all started with learning biology. She spent her free time online to learn as much as she could about the human body. This started with diagrams and text, and grew to videos. At first she was disgusted when she watched a minor surgery, but as time went on she became desensitized to it. Like most kids, she had a strong curiosity that fed into her watching more and more extreme videos. She still studied human biology but her interest became twisted, culminating in her losing focus on her goal and finding a certain website where she was able to watch disasters occur. Car crashes, derailed trains, houses burning down... The list went on, and she slowly found herself losing touch with her view of mortality. Unfortunately, by this time she was a young teenager, and like many teenagers she had totally flipped on what she wanted to do as an adult.

Her new fascination was not medicine, but politics. As she continued learning about the subject she became more and more convinced that there was too much wrong in the world. People put their trust in others, who inevitably would betray that trust. Power was consolidated through lies, and might made right. These were the truths of the world, she believed, and she hated it. She blamed the strong for abusing the weak, and the weak for allowing themselves to be abused. She eventually grew violent against the school bullies and was sent to live with her uncle after being nearly expelled from her school for a fight. He believed that a healthy outlet for her violent tendencies would help her, and so he gave her a wooden sword that she now carries everywhere she can.

She now goes to Yamamura High School, where she has gotten caught up in the rumors of "Strange Gospel."

Tsubomi lived a fairly uninteresting life until she was 8 years old, when her elder sister disappeared. The police were unable to find any conclusive evidence, but it was an open secret that one of the local gangs, called the "Demons," were behind it. As such, nobody was arrested. Tsubomi misunderstood the situation and believed that it were an actual demon that took her sister away, drawing the young girl into the realm of the occult. Her older brother tried to explain the situation to her, but she couldn't accept that actual people could be so evil. As time went on, though, she learned that people often are worse than any supernatural force.

Unfettered access to the Internet let her quickly learn a lot of things. Unfortunately, this included a host of horrible things as well. Until she was a teenager, she had managed to avoid the worst even in the world of the occult. Things like ritualistic sacrifice were terrible, yes, but she never witnessed anything like it; it was just words and a scary idea. Stories. As a teenager, though, she accidently found her way to a less than reputable website, the contents of which slowly but steadily scarred and desensitized her to violence. Like most teenagers, she didn't grasp the danger of this situation until it was too late. She was fifteen, and had totally ruined her view of mortality. By this point, she was already working hard in athletics and terrified her parents with her blasé attitude when she broke her arm. Yes, it was painful, but she was already thinking of it in a twisted way. It was just bone, what was the big problem? It wasn't like she'd lose her arm or anything. If anything, she was more concerned with how others began treating her differently because of it. She didn't like being looked down on, and that's all she could see others doing from her point of view. It certainly didn't help that she was bullied by some for closing herself off during this time.

By the time she healed up, she had a new outlook on life. People were trash, willing to lord their minor superiority over others, wanting to cling so tightly to the status quo, only going out of their way to help when it made them look good. Willing to pick on the weakest for fun. Garbage, that's what they were. But she wouldn't be like everyone else, content to wallow in their worthlessness. She would grind away at herself until she was sharper than any blade, stronger than anyone else. She would surpass everyone. This line of thinking is what led her to begin attacking the members of the street gang that caused trouble in the area. She had completely forgotten that her sister's disappearance was blamed on them, yet things had come full circle anyway. The result of this war against them was her parents becoming scared for her safety and sending her to live with her uncle. He believed that a healthy outlet for her violent tendencies would help her let go of her history, and so he gave her a wooden sword that she now carries everywhere she can.

I made an overhaul of my CS, now that I've had more time to think. Sorry for posting it too soon before.

Strange Gospel: A Heavily Persona-Inspired Urban Fantasy RP

Alright, I'mma be honest. This isn't my best work, and part of that is because I was beaten to the punch on human theme and Echo theme, and it sort of socked my motivation. Nonetheless, I'll put this forth as an application.

Tsubomi is a fast and loyal friend who has trouble keeping secrets. She has a deep resentment for herself which drives her to constantly try to improve in everything she does. It's in part due to this that she has trouble asking for help no matter how desperate the situation, as she feels as if she doesn't deserve other people's time. However, she is overly trusting and gullible. She is quite competitive as it's a way to prove that she's not worthless like she believes herself to be. She dislikes authority and self-righteous people. She also despises insects and insect-looking creatures with all her heart.

At 10 years old, she witnessed her best friend die in a car crash just outside of Tsubomi's home. Despite the fatality, the driver who caused the crash was able to get away unscathed and was found Not Guilty of manslaughter nor murder due to their connections as a member of the other local gang, the "Angels." Tsubomi cut herself off from all other friendships after this, believing that they would only get her hurt. She began working out and training herself to someday get revenge on the one who caused the crash.

Age 13, Tsubomi was arrested for nearly killing a member of the Demons with a baseball bat, but because he was a suspect in a larger crime and her actions led to his being caught as well, she was let off the hook with a warning.

At age 14, Tsubomi and her older brother joined with an adult friend of theirs to found a street gang. The express purpose of this group was to take down the two other violent local gangs, however possible. Due to the hatred of these two gangs there was no shortage of applicants for their group. Soon they had dozens of members and could be found fighting their targets in the back alleys, and later on in the streets themselves. Despite being so young, Tsubomi found herself leading several people of various ages to fight more experienced opponents. She learned to fight from her brother and refined her ability through actual combat, though did not come away unscathed. By age 15 she had several scars from her battles. Before she turned 16, her gang had managed to oust one of the two they had been founded to defeat, the Demons.

A year after that victory, Tsubomi found the Angel who had killed her best friend years prior, and after nearly caving his skull in, was arrested for attempted murder and given a choice: Move away to live with her uncle far away or go to prison. She chose the former, and so she traded her metal bat for a wooden sword, a gift from said uncle when she arrived. He believed that a healthy outlet for her violent tendencies would help her let go of her history.

This past year she joined Yamamura High School. Her old fascination with the occult reared its head once more when she heard of "Strange Gospel."
