Daro'Shani, known in whispered corners of taverns and candlelit sanctuaries as “Shadow-Claw,” is an unusual sight even among the ever-mysterious Khajiit. Born of the rare Alfiq-Raht lineage, she possesses the form of a sleek, long-furred black feline, large housecat at first glance, though far too intelligent, and far too deliberate, to ever be mistaken for one. Her fur is deep midnight black, thick and silken like spilled ink beneath moonlight, broken only by a single white patch upon her chest resembling the mark of a dagger's tip.
Her eyes are the most unsettling thing about her. Large and luminous, they gleam with the shifting iridescence of polished opals, soft blues, pale greens, and ghostly violets catching the light with every subtle movement. Many describe them as beautiful right until the moment they realize Daro'Shani has already read every weakness hidden behind their smile.
She moves with impossible silence, every step graceful and measured, as though the shadows themselves part willingly for her passage. Her tail sways lazily when amused, yet becomes perfectly still the instant she turns her attention toward prey. Though small in stature, she carries herself with aristocratic poise and predatory confidence, often lounging upon furniture, railings, or high shelves like a queen surveying lesser creatures from her throne.
Unlike the snarling cutthroats commonly associated with the Dark Brotherhood, Daro'Shani prefers wit to threats and charm to intimidation. Her voice is velvet-soft, rich with the purring cadence of Elsweyr, each word carefully chosen to disarm, entice, or unsettle. She delights in clever conversation, double meanings, and making others underestimate her. Nobles mistake her for an exotic companion animal. Mercenaries assume she is harmless. Most realize the truth only moments before darkness claims them.
When working in the Brotherhood's name, she favors subtlety above spectacle. Poisons hidden in sweet wine, whispered lies that turn allies against one another, and blades drawn only when absolutely necessary. Yet when violence comes, it is swift and surgical. A flash of steel from beneath flowing shadow, a silent leap from darkness, and another soul offered to the Dread Father before their scream can fully form.
Among companions, however, Daro'Shani is unexpectedly magnetic, sharp-tongued, intelligent, and endlessly entertaining. She masks her ruthlessness behind dry humor and elegant confidence, serving as both the voice and manipulator of any group she travels with. Beneath the playful smirks and lazy purring lies a mind constantly calculating, observing, and deciding precisely which mask to wear next.

Origin: Daro'Shani was born beneath the warm moonlight of southern Elsweyr, in a wandering clan that traveled the trade roads between Torval and the Tenmar Forests. Unlike many Alfiq-Raht, who were treated as mystical advisors or cunning servants, Daro'Shani was raised among the hunters, caravanners and warriors. Though Small in stature, she possessed a mind sharper than most blades and a tongue capable of turning arguments into laughter before blood could be drawn.
Of all her siblings, she was closest to her elder brother, Do'Ravaar, a towering Senche-Raht with ash-grey fur and golden eyes like burning lanterns. Where Daro'Shani was subtle and clever, Do'Ravaar was calm, steadfast, and impossibly gentle, despite his enormous size. He treated her not as fragile, but capable. When other Khajiit mocked her for her small frame, it was Do'Ravaar who carried her onto his back and declared before the caravan: "This on is smaller, only so the shadows may hide her easier!" From that day on, the two were inseparable.
Do'Ravaar taught her patience, survival, and the importance of loyalty. Daro'Shani, in turn, taught him wit, politics, and how to see the lies hidden behind smiling faces. Together, they became valuable to the caravan, Do'Ravaar as it's shield, Daro'Shani as it's silver tongue and hidden blade.
But Elsweyr is a land where moonlight always casts long shadows.
During her twentieth year, Daro'Shani became entangled with a hidden cult operating beneath the guise of traders and mercenaries. At first, she believed them to be smugglers and political spies, nothing more. They admired her intelligence, her stealth, and her gift for manipulation. They paid well for information. Then they paid better for sabotage. Then silence.
By the time she realized she was working alongside the agents of the Dark Brotherhood, she had already crossed too many lines to walk away cleanly. The Brotherhood did not recruit her immediately, instead, they watched. They observed how easily she lied, How quietly she moved, how effortlessly she convinced others to trust her.
Eventually, a speaker approached her directly after a contract in Senchal. He offered purpose, power and belonging beneath the gaze of the Dread Father. Daro'Shani accepted, not out of faith, but because part of her had already grown addicted to the thrill of control, and the hunt.
Yet, initiation into the Brotherhood demanded a sacrifice.
Her final test was not a stranger, not a criminal, not a target deserving of death... It was Do'Ravaar.
The Brotherhood had discovered he intended to turn Daro'Shani over to local authorities after learning the truth of her killings. Not because he hated her, but because he believed there was still enough goodness left in her to save. The speaker presented her with a choice: Kill her brother willingly an prove her devotion... or die beside him as a liability.
She chose survival.
The encounter haunted her forever, Do'Ravaar did not fight her. When she approached him beneath the moonlit canopies of Tenmar, he already understood why she had come. He saw the blade beneath her cloak, smelled the oils on her blade and poison meant to make his death swift and painless. He simply lowered himself to one knee and asked her "Will this make you happy, Little Shadow?" Daro'Shani could never remember what she answered, only the sound afterward. The wet rasp of breath, the unbearable silence once his heartbeat stopped.
The Brotherhood praised her ruthlessness, called her reborn.
But Daro'Shani never forgave herself, calling her self "Kin-Slayer"
Before the Brotherhood could burn the body according to their rites, she secretly removed one of Do'Ravaar's claws, a massive curved thing nearly the length of her foreleg. She keeps it hidden within silk wrapping beneath her cloak even now, not as a trophy, nor as proof of victory, but punishment. A reminder, every contract she fulfills, every lie she tells, every life she ends.
All of it was purchased whit his blood.
Years later, political instability and internal conflict spread through the Dark Brotherhood sanctuaries of southern Tamriel. Rumors whispered that the Skyrim sanctuary, though weakened, still possessed ancient rites and surviving authority tied closely to the Night Mother herself. Daro'Shani sq opportunity there, not merely for advancement, but escape.
Elsweyr had become unbearable. Too many roads reminded her of Do'Ravaar, Too many songs sounded like home. She convinced herself Skyrim would be temporary, another contract, another sanctuary, another mask to wear. But in truth, she fled because the warm sands of Elsweyr no longer welcomed her spirit. The moons that once comforted her, now felt accusatory.
She crossed Cyrodiil hidden among merchants caravans, using illusion magic and her Silver tongue to pass as an exotic noble's adviser, whenever scrutiny grew too dangerous. In Skyrim, her unusual appearance made her simultaneously underestimated, and unforgettable, a combination she exploited expertly.
When she finally reached the Falkreath Sanctuary, she found not grandeur, but decay, paranoia, desperation, and strangely... familiarity.
The Dark Brotherhood there was fractured, wounded, and clinging to purpose. Daro'Shani fit among them almost too well. Her charisma quickly earned trust, her intelligence made her useful, and her skill as a Nightblade made her deadly. Yet, despite the cold professionalism she displayed, the others occasionally caught glimpses of something buried beneath her polished confidence.
A hesitation whenever family was mentioned. A distant look during quiet nights. A habit of touching the wrapped Senche-Raht claw hidden beneath her cloak whenever she believed herself alone.

Eye of Night~ Daro'Shani's khajiit ancestry grants her superior vision in dark and dim conditions. She can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. She can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Quick Claws~ Because of her claws, Daro'Shani has a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, her claws are natural weapons, which she can use to make unarmed strikes. If she hits with them, she deal slashing damage equal to 1 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Compensating for Size~ Alfiq-Raht Khajiit has an innate well of magicka within them. Daro'Shani gains 2 magicka points that she can use to cast spells. Additionally, she knows one cantrip and one 1st level spell from the mage spell list. she regain all expended magicka when you finish a long rest. Personality is her spellcasting ability for these spells, she must expend magicka to cast them, and she can only cast them at their base level.
Improved Mage Hand~ Alfiq-Raht Khajiit know the mage hand cantrip. the lack of hands have made them especially proficient in it, allowing them to gain the following additional benefits:
Alfiq-Raht Khajiit can cast mage hand as a bonus action.
When the hand is within 5 feet of Them, it can carry an additional 10 pounds, can make attacks, and can activate magic items.
The mage hand is proficient in any weapon they are proficient in, but it can't use weapons with the heavy, loading, or two-handed property, and can't wield versatile weapons with two hands.
Soft Fall~ Alfiq-Raht Khajiit have resistance to falling damage, and always land on their feet.

Taking to the path of the Night Mother’s Shadow, Nightblades of this order fully embrace the darkness that they stalk in.

Assassin's Blade: Daro'Shani has received a boon to deliver swift death to her prey. Sher was granted the use of a magical short sword known as the assassin’s blade, which was named Whisper in the Night. She was bonded to this weapon and it counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Daro'Shani can summon Whisper in the Night as a bonus action, which appears in her free hand (the mage hand). As a bonus action, she can dismiss the weapon, shunting it into an extradimensional space. Whisper in the Night disappears if it is more than 5 feet away from Daro'Shani for 1 minute, if she dismiss the weapon (no action required), if she use a bonus action to summon it again, or if she fall unconscious.
When Daro'Shani attack and hit a creature that is surprised with Whisper in the Night, the target takes an extra 2d6 damage from the attack. As her nightblade level increases, so does Whisper in the Night’s power. At certain levels Whisper in the Night gains new properties that increases its attack and damage rolls. At 6th level, you have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. This increases by +1 at 10th level (to +2), and again at 14th level (+3).
