@slayerofkings3) The chances of the ship randomly jumping to the Cyphan system are astronomical, and they couldn't know the coordinates.

If you want him to just be waking up, we could say that he was bought from a scrap dealer along with other junk, then reassembled enough on Cyphan by Kale to finish assembling himself. Otherwise we'll have to come up with some other way to get him there. Stowaway? Pretending to be a non-sentient protocol droid and tricking Capt. White into giving him a ride? It's possible there are rumors of Cyphan from people that turned down the offer to join the colony.

@slayerofkingsI like the idea of a sentient droid, but there are 4 issues with it.

1) I prefer if you post your CS in the OOC and then only move it to CHAR when it's approved, so we can keep unapproved CS's out of the CHAR tab. The other's CS were approved in the Int Check, which is why they moved them directly to the CHAR tab. Sorry for the confusion.
2) the picture is broken.
3) Cyphan is a newly established planet that only my characters Kale and Jenna, as well as @Sirkaithethird 's character Eric know the coordinates of. This means that he couldn't be from a space station orbiting Cyphan, nor could he travel to the planet on his own. One of us could have recruited you, though. For example, Jenna was a mid-level politician on Corellia, a Regional Governor, and a Sith, so she would have had use for an assassin droid. She could have brought you with us. Or maybe Kale or Eric found you in space and decided to give a sentient droid a chance to live as part of a society that accepted him.
4) E-11 blasters weren't developed until a couple decades BBY. This takes place during the old Republic, several thousand years earlier. Tech from the KOTOR games or the Old Republic online game would be era appropriate.

@BishopAnarchy stepped out of the elevator into the reception area, as it was necessary to go down a different elevator to get to the Zeta tube in the basement. As he stepped out, however, he saw John lower his ringed hand. "Fine," John said to the clown-like entity. "If there really is a dangerous inter-dimensional entity in the city, why don't you come with me to the interview room so that you can tell me all about it?"

"Problem, John?" Mark asked, seeing the receptionist rubbing her throat. He was fairly certain he had heard her scream a little while ago.

"Nothing I can't handle. This individual just came through from another dimension, chasing some sort of inter-dimensional horror. He did use some sort of magic to steal Jenna's voice. I'll make sure the medics do whatever they need to so she can recover." He looked at the clown and motioned down a hallway. "Meanwhile, I'm going to learn whatever I can about this threat."

Mark nodded and walked over to Jenna, helping her up. She seem to no longer be in pain as she dusted herself off. "Are you all right?"

She nodded, tapped a sign indicating an infirmary was down a hall directly across from the doors, and smiled.

"Glad to hear it." He motioned to John that he could leave, then went over to the reception desk to call another branch. When he was done, he sat down at the chair behind the front desk, closed out Jenna's twitter page on the computer, and sat there for about two minutes until another receptionist came up the elevator from the Zeta tube room. "Thank you for coming from Star City on such short notice." he said, shaking the man's hand. "Our other receptionist was just attacked and is in the infirmary."

"Is she alright?" the receptionist asked.

"Her voice was magically taken, but otherwise she's fine."

"uh, Ok." said the man. "I'm not still in danger, am I?"

"No, the attacker is currently with John Stewart. Apparently, he came to this dimension to warn us about some great evil."

"Ok, well, I don't have any powers so if he attacks me, I'm running."

Mark giggled. "I wouldn't blame you. Most people would run, but I doubt that would happen." There was a noise outside and Mark looked out the door, spotting several people with Boomerang and Trinity. "Well, just make yourself comfortable. The next shift's receptionist will be in at five." he looked at his watch. 2:47. "Right now, though, I've got a date, and she's held up. Excuse me." He turned and walked out the door.

Personality: Curious about the way things work. This is why he studied medicine and repair, and why he chose to spend his time honing his understanding of the Force instead of his combat skills.

Bio: He went to the Temple on Dantooine to learn to use the Force as a teenager, when the Mandolorians attacked the farming world he lived on, killing his parents. They trained him, though by the time he finished his training Revan had already started recruiting. He wanted to go, but his master held him back, and a few years later he was fighting against those he had trained beside, only with them serving the Dark side.
That was the one point he didn't understand in his training. Light and Dark sides of this one Force meant that you were not seeing the whole picture. Yes, the Sith were blinding themselves to the light side by abandoning themselves to the darkness, but the Jedi did the same when they refused to even look at that darkness. Surely, if life created the Force, then there was a way to find the balance in the Force that nature had found.
One day the Jedi sent him to infiltrate the cadre of a Sith operative on Corellia, Darth Vindis. He convinced her that he was a fallen Jedi, telling her the truth about his view that the Dark side could be used for good and the Light side for evil, and joined. After a few months they fell in love, though he knew it was only a matter of time before he has to turn on her.
She sent him into the unknown regions to scout new Hyperspace routes for the Sith, a dangerous job made considerably safer when one could sense the flow of energy in hyperspace through the Force, but when he found an uninhabited world which he named Cyphan, after his dead father, he knew that he couldn't let the Sith or Jedi have it. The Force was strong there, and either side would corrupt it.
When he was ordered to betray her a week later, he told her of the world and suggested they hide out there. She knew that the Sith would not accept that she had failed in her mission to prepare the sector for invasion, but wasn't willing to hide in fear like some mewling pup. Instead, she faked the death of both Durran and herself, and started using her real name, Jenna Brek. She ran for public office, certain that she could reveal herself and her info and save herself from the Sith's anger, and he got a job as a droid mechanic. A year later, they got married.
When the Star Forge was destroyed, she heard of it through a Sith she was supposedly being bribed by, and they knew it was only a matter of time before the war was over and all of her machinations would be in vain. They secretly reached out to other people like themselves and, when the war was declared over, had already begun a basic colony near the mouth of a Force crystal cave.
They use their ship to ferry people in or buy supplies, but made sure that they do not lead the Sith or Republic to their new homeworld, as this world would be poisoned should the Jedi or Sith settle on it. Hopefully, Durran and Brek together could prevent that from happening as a consequence of their arrival.

Equipment: Basic Mynock-hide armor (good against energy, only decent against physical attacks.), Watchman's blaster, yellow lightsaber, two droids (A1-B3, a protocol droid and M2-D9, an astromech), a freighter (though he locked the nav computer so people can't learn the location of this world and leak it) with a work bench and a chem station. He's working on a recreation of the Temple on Dantooine, but so far he only has the landing pad, and a side room (the Guard's office). He also has several thousand credits, as they are currently used as money here.

Bio: Growing up in the Corruscant underground, she joined the Sith it order to learn to be strong, like she never felt she was before. She learned strength, but also a learned to turn the rage and fear she had dealt with into power to destroy her enemies. For a time she used her power to destroy everyone the Sith sent her after, earning the title of Darth, but one day they sent her on a special mission. She was to prepare the Correlia Sector for invasion.
Once on the planet and carefully hidden among criminals, using her skills to convince them she was a thief, she researched the possibility of a new hyperspace lane leading into the nearby systems, a possible way to surprise their defense forces. A month later she met Kale, a Jedi defector who wanted to join her, and she used him as her agent, even sending him out to scout new hyperspace lanes. They fell in love and, when the war was over, decided to try and start a new life on the world he had found. They recruited a few fellow refugees and traveled to Cyphan, where they founded Cyphan City.

The Sith War with Revan and Malak just ended, and people from both sides were recruited to come to the newly discovered planet of Cyphan to start a new life. Sometimes people would fall in love with someone on the other side. Sometimes they would sympathize with the others, or stop believing in the cause, and these people came to Cyphan, knowing that the Republic would never accept them or even fearing punishment.

The one who discovered this world, and who came up with the idea of settling it with people from both sides is a former Jedi Knight named Kale Durran, who married a Sith Assassin named Jenna Brek, AKA Darth Vindis. They teach what they call the Cyphan Way, that the Force isn't light or dark. The Force is life, and those are different sides of the life that creates it, both the benevolent and selfish sides.

Durran is trusted by most of the refugees, and wishes to found a direct democracy in which all adults vote in rulers that only remain as long as they maintain a 50% or greater approval rating.

He is founding a town called Cyphan City on one of the planet's large plains, near a crystal cave which is strong in the Force. There he will institute his government and treat everyone the same under the law, with the Force being treated as a tool, not an excuse to rule over others. His wife will serve as the local constable should the need arise.

Think of it as a western, but with Jedi as the Mayor, a Sith as the sheriff, and a gang of Sith trying to birddog the town.
