Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

Oh right, they did that, didn't they? I stopped reading Bleach after the Hueco Mundo ark. The whole Aizen reveal was just too stupid, and the manga had been dipping in quality ever since the Soul Society ark.
@Gun
As I stated, that makes complete sense to me. But then you need to establish your character's actual power. And then that means that your character is leagues above all the other characters, and should either face equally powerful opponents or be severely nerfed.
@Savato
With Kenpachi it made sense, though. He limited himself because he wanted a decent fight. He weakened himself so his opponents could challenge him, so that his fights would have value again. Based on his character, it's a logical thing, and if someone wished to make this a part of their character then they're free to do so. Darquesse herself often doesn't use her full power, as she spends most of her time just toying with people. It's just unexplained limitlessness that annoys me in particular.
@Archmage MC
I find her to be interesting, because she isn't all that sadistic, per se. It's more like pushing the limits because she feels like it. She's like a fun-loving teenager with no empathy and godlike magical powers. And, of course, a slight superiority complex.
@Saint Girralo
My character isn't in possession of a mech. She just wants one. I think you're confusing me with Richard.
@Gun
Power doesn't work that way. You can't have a character that becomes more powerful the more powerful the opponent they face, that makes no logical sense. If you're going to have your character function at massively below-optimum capacity, then you need to explain why your character is being limited, and how this limit is removed in bigger fights. I'm personally a fan of having characters that make some degree of sense, to some level, and can't suddenly become 100x more powerful whenever they feel like it.

He's not nearly as strong as Blackwargreymon, just as he's not nearly as powerful as Piedmon. The only reason he was able to fight Blackwargreymon at all was because of his MASSIVE power boost against darkness digimon. And even then he wasn't able to fight Blackwargreymon as an equal, as Blackwargreymon was able to hold off Wargreymon, Magnaangemon, and Shakkoumon at the same time.

Blackwargreymon is more powerful than Wargreymon, and moves at about Mach 50. Magnaangemon is nowhere near that level of power or speed.

Darquesse didn't really care for Richard's explanation, she knew what to do. The information that she was allowed to blow up her new 'allies' was interesting though, this might be her kind of organization. He tossed a comm at her, and she caught the small device, looking at it sceptically. She very much doubted it'd last long, considering the kind of damage that would be heading her way. But she simply shrugged and clipped it onto her jacket. As Richard finished briefing her, she gave an exaggerated salute in his direction. "Sir yes sir!" Laughing, she shot off into the air, accelerating to maximum speed as she launched herself into the battlefield, already searching for her next plaything. And there were oh so many pretty little toys to choose from.

The mage-knight stormed at the alchemist, blade at the ready as he attempted to kill the sergeant. Roy would most likely raise his hand, already prepared to face the charging warrior. But their battle would be interrupted, as a black-haired comet struck the earth between the two. The ground cracked beneath Darquesse's feet as she landed, and as she did, she also imbued some of her magic into the earth. A ripple moved through the Earth, like a shockwave of solid rock. The two combatants were thrown to the ground by the surprise earthquake, the mage-knight's powerful charge transformed into a tumbling fall. Confronting the two stood Darquesse, grinning brightly as she stared at Roy.

"Oh hi there. Was I interrupting something, don't worry about it, I'll let you continue in a moment." Darquesse casually strolled forward, ignoring the Mage-knight and all he was most likely shouting about. She could tell at a glance he was a stiff kind of person, and she hated people like that. While she was fairly certain he was on her side, she'd probably end up killing him anyway, so nothing he said mattered. "So I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that those guys behind you are your friends. So I just wanted you to know that, while you're here doing your little last stand, I'm going to be killing them. Slowly." She gave him a little wave, before walking past him. The stone wall seemed to part for her, as she willed the stone to open for her. "Good luck with your fight!"
@dirty slime
Magnaangemon is Mach 1, max. That's his movement speed. Not that he has many speed feats, but by powerscaling he can be put at that level.
@Archmage MC
Sure, but then he'd taste the poison and stop.

The heart virus was supposed to be an incredibly rare disease that was capable of killing Saiyans, who are immune to almost all diseases. And that laser thing is non-canon.
@Archmage MC
Saiyan physiology is far superior to human. Goku was able to eat enough tranquilizer to put down 10 elephants and kept going. And that was when he was just 12 years old. And besides, how would you feed Nappa cyanide when he moves faster than you can see?
