Princess x Assassin
But in this tale, the assassin works for her. She wants the throne so she can protect her kingdom from her corrupt siblings. To do so, she must be both pure-hearted and cunning. At first, the only support she receives is from House Valderis through its heir, the master assassin Astran Valderis. The princess will win over those she can, and Astran will slay those she can't. Together, they will obtain the throne.

He sold his soul for food and wool.
The ghoul who sold its life, it's rife
The ghoul who sold its life is rife

"This ghoul and wife, wool and fife,
This soul that's rife with bard and strife,
Apply'st you nonsense to my life?"

Bereft by theft, he's left with null,
His life is cleft by cold, hence wool.
Penniless, jobless, useless, young,
His wife was merciless, wagged her tongue,
So bards retell't with fife, and sung.
See, though devils make heroes' glory
Humans are devils enough for our story.
And so Solorfainiel put down her pen.

[edit: oops, didn't realize the character in the dungeon was someone else. One draft of Astran's app mentioned Fain's imprisonment, so I thought it was me, not realizing I discarded that draft.]

I don't want to talk about my pre-military life. It was boring. Things really started to pick up for me when I became a knight in service of the Crown. You see, I..." There's a splendid little shop just around the corner that makes the most delicious pancakes you've ever tasted. I highly recommend paying them a visit on your way back."

Is it just me, or do we have too many female characters? I've got a male char idea.

The opening post of the story tends to set the tone for the rest of the story, so it may be best for you start things off so you can control the tone. The other players here look competent, so I think they'll be able to run with what you give them. :)
