Wednesday was for organizing. Alrick prided himself on the neatness of his room. Everything had a place. The walls were bare and furniture didn't match, but he didn’t care. This was his quiet little spot in an otherwise chaotic home. Things never got lost and he never stubbed his toes here.

The microfiber towel swiped over every surface carefully. He worked in a grid pattern, sure to not miss a spot. Alrick hummed along to the soft music playing from his phone as he worked. Nothing could break his Wednesday cleaning frenzy focus now...

Well, almost nothing.

The sound of his window being pried open sure did get his attention fast. Alrick never used that window, why would he?

"Uh...no, I don't think we're in Kansas," He chirped, turning to face the strange but not malicious voice. "Pretty far away, actually. Can I help you? Do you need directions? A door, maybe?"
Oooooh got it
I'm not sure what you mean by rule 8, can you expand on that?

Nobody said that marriage was easy.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better suited couple. She's a loving and supportive wife, he's an adoring and committed husband. They have little squabbles here and there, sure. What couple doesn't? But by the end of the day, they've made up and talked it out. They can tell each other anything. Well, almost anything...

She lives a secret double life. She kisses her husband goodnight and heads off to her nightshift dressed in scrubs. Then, she pulls over and changes in the car, pulls the guns and silver tipped arrows from the trunk, and sets out on the hunt.

He can never know about this part of her. Her beloved human husband would surely object to his wife taking on the monsters of the underworld every night. He wouldn't understand; this is her calling.

He lives a secret double life. He works from home and keeps it clean and quiet. It's the perfect job for a man who's wife is nocturnal. The only catch is that he must travel to the home office upstate for one week every month. That week always coincides with the full moon...

He can never tell his sweet wife about this. How could he possibly explain that he turns into a monster every night for a week straight? Every month? She would never see him the same. How could she love a werewolf?

She hunts the forest for her mortal enemy. This beast has lurked these woods for years, constantly eluding her. Attacks were rare, but that was only because she was around to keep the wolf on the ropes. One of these nights, her silver will strike true.

He hikes far off the beaten path to allow his transformed self to roam. When left alone, his wolfish other half wasn't that bad. He wasn't really sure what he got up to under the full moon, but sometimes he woke up with battle scars. He was worried for a while that he'd been killing people, but the local news never reported any animal attacks. There must be a hunter in these woods, but he can't risk moving his prowling grounds now; not after years of his wolf self learning the boundaries and how to avoid the occasional human here. Besides, if he killed a hunter in his wolf form, he really wouldn't be all that pressed. Why can't they just let creatures be?
