Name:Daniel
Occupation:Wealthy Fan/Professional Trainer
Backstory:Daniel placed highly in the Indigo League during his first year as a trainer and has travelled widely since, earning (and subsequently spending) a sizeable amount of money through victories in tournaments, colosseums, battle towers and similar facilities aroudn the world. He's pretty well known among the tournament crowd, but not so much with anyone else.
He's on the ship as a vacation, here to enjoy the luxurious amenities and some of the best entertainment in the world (i.e. the contest itself), he and his team were never very good at them, but he's been a fan ever since he visited the Contest Hall in Lilycove City while waiting for the weather to improve before heading south and couldn't help but buy tickets when he heard about the glorious venue, unusual destination and rare opportunity to see the River of Stars in person.
He's living many a young trainer's dream, a life of travel, battling and adventure, and one successful enough to occasionally afford to trade the camping gear and days alone in the wild for a trip like this.
Personality:Daniel is a cheerful, confident man, he enjoys every moment of his life, travelling the world, seeing its wonders and learning new things as he goes. He's always happy to share stories, tips and rumours with those he meets, preferably over a nice hot meal. He's prone to thinking aloud, a habit developped wandering the world with only his team for company.
