So, if everyone's still on board, I'll do my best to get us moving along, but if not, I'll have to start another one I guess.
Thoughts noted.
Yes, unless we decide to do something different. I once was in an RP (didn't last long) where the Digimon were bound in the Digivice and served as a sort of Sentai armor almost. I get that it's not for everyone, and is more interesting to watch than to roleplay, I'd feel.

Noted. Open's hard to run, but I wanted to test the concept of the humans surviving in the Digital World, and I didn't have a plot in mind immediately.
Any thoughts on the other points?
That works. Thanks. I'm debating posting again immediately, but I don't know what the etiquette for the current situation is, and I don't want to cut anyone off.
That being said, Jordan's definitely going to want to be there, for obvious reasons, and wouldn't be against certain extreme measures.
Alright, sorry. Wasn't sure how to handle it. A brief half sentence summary such as "after informing" etc. would be appreciated, but not necessary.
I'm wanting to start a Digimon RP, but I don't know exactly what I want to run. So, I thought instead of putting one idea to an interest check and have it flop, I'd have the viewers say in which idea they're most interested.
So, here are the general options.
Plot driven- I would have a specific plot as the GM, and would set up events and guide the player towards them. This doesn't mean the players lack choices.
Player driven- I only supply situations, and while I would have a small story idea, how it unfolds is almost completely up to the players, as long as I deem that it makes sense with the themes/tone and doesn't cut anyone out or treat someone unfairly.
Open- Basically a sandbox- I give a setup and certain events that the players have the choice of partaking in or not.

There are also some smaller choices, like-
What kind of tone would you like? Bold and adventurous? Daring and perilous? Dark and/or gritty? I'm not against humor but I don't feel like running a goofy RP at the moment, fyi.

I'd also take ideas/suggestions/judgements on the plot that's involved. I don't think it'd be fun if I picked one that not everyone could accept.

While I don't usually tip my hand, I have two ideas for the Open/Sandbox type idea. Both involve players teaming up with various Digimon, but one would be a lighter Tournament Style RP taking place in the Real World, where Digimon have crossed over and have lived for a while, and the other would involve humans living in a Digital World where they have colonized for a relatively short time (20 years or so- not to the point where Digimon are that well understood and there are generations and generations born in the Digital World), where Digimon are more wild, and would be necessary for survival when traveling between the sparse human settlements.

Also, another option is whether or not any mechanics would be applied, and to what extent. I do have a bit of a tabletop rulebook that needs testing, but I'm not sure if that's what I want now. I could apply minimal mechanics to the CS's, which would effect things like Digivolving or how well a human partners with any given type of Digimon, or just have stats on Digimon for emergencies, like if someone can't seem to decide how to resolve a PvP event.

As always, questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome. If anyone has a certain non-conventional idea that they'd like to suggest, go for it.

EDIT: HOLY CRAP AUTOMATIC GREENTEXT

Oh come on, I'm not that much of a procrastinating invalid. I considered posting right after Psych, but there were work days and blue screens. Granted the blue screens were last night and today, and I think I fixed it, and the work wasn't that much...
>what let me try that

...wow Mahz

He does work.
I also have made post! And I didn't realize conversation went on OOC either.
Yay for stuff!
The return to the Digital World was silent. Although not as tired as the rest, Jordan wasn't sure how to feel. He just felt sort of hollow, and was unsure if anything had really changed. Sure, the Royal Knights had been effectively unseated, and Imperialdramon was vanquished, but with Yggdrasil -as far as he understood- having been inactive for quite some time (what that actually meant for the Digital World itself concerning him greatly) what had actually changed? What had been accomplished?

Shrewmon, who was usually quite cheerful, had been rather quiet since his reversion. He wasn't used to that much sustained combat, having lived peacefully within a small colony of others of similar species. However, upon looking up at his partner as they returned to the Real World, he noticed the pensive expression on the boy's face.
"Is something wrong?" the mouse-like Rookie squeaked softly.
"I'm not sure," replied Jordan softly, "And that's the problem."

Once the majority of the group had settled, with Jordan looking around at the cluster of people he barely knew, he overheard something that peaked his interest, although in a somewhat withdrawn and nervous way. Slowly, as Lucas moved away, Jordan moved towards Leon, looking slightly blankly towards them, standing before both Veemon and Lucas, with Shrewmon close behind.

"What's at Shibuya Station?" he asked with reserve.
To be honest, he didn't expect a straight answer, and slowly averted his gaze. Even though they had entered the Digital World at the same time, he was well aware he knew nothing about Leon.
I don't even know.
