I'm really bad at ref hunting, so I'll put up a CS tomorrow and try to scrounge up a look for 'em later.
If there aren't too many players already, I'm struck with the concept of a hero with sight-based powers, used to be a bit player of some TV/reality show (so not a real hero) and got jailed for quite literally seeing too much. So to keep from getting shanked in prison he's in the Phoenix Program on technicality.

Now that their questions were being answered - sometimes you had to be okay getting half of what you need out of the Church like this - Pequod settled in their seat and remained silent for the meeting to follow.

Anyone who knew them would not be relieved for their silence.

Their obscured eyes were locked on the mutilated visage of 2's corpse, long after it had vanished in place of the war map once more. Their fingernails scratched at their wood armrest as ideas rolled over one another, this new train of thought kept from their compatriots.

As the Bishop and General left, with a less-performative bow of their head this time, Pequod tilted their head to one side, the side 8 was sitting.

"You know what I'm thinking, Eight."

"........the head."

In the post-meeting din, before that Hawthorne entered to continue the brief, handler and number held a quiet conversation, almost conspiratorially.

Or, well, very conspiratorially.

"They never retrieved it."

"M-mm-maybe kept by the tribe. A trophy."

"It's a good chance. If we got to the brain..."

8 smiled, manically.

"I've been practicing..."

They had to keep it quiet, just had to. Attempting to play God under the Church's nose was the height of blasphemy.
@Auragreedia No complaints! Though to clear up any future confusion, you'd only need one color for clues. It's only both if you have two characters, I should've made that clearer.
Just making sure!

My current thoughts on Icon is either Friendship (or some sort of bond-like concept) or Soul - whichever one giving him the capabilities to bring what he sculpts to life. And cuz if where his passions lie, and for the sake of time, a lot of them might be silly little guys.
I'm assuming we still get a say in how the powers manifest, right?
Both matter, and lacking in either love or skill weakens what you can get.

Hmm... What about if their skill is high, but they only love their craft if they aren't trying? Like, the difference between drawing as a job vs drawing for the fun of it? I'm trying to make the concept work but if it's moot I'll redirect.
Ok yeah I'm very interested in this.

Does being "good" at a form of art matter more than loving it for the purposes of an Icon? Preliminary idea is someone who's really really into sculpting but doesn't quite have the skill to back it up, so their Magic comes in the form of ugly, misshapen little golems.
