Smiling she headed into the apartment front office. "I don't think I really need much. My family never really had a big home so you kind of learn to live with it. Not that I'm complaining or anything." They had a fairly short wait before they were able to be helped. Since it didn't seem that either of them had many specific needs Ariel opted for a more complete tour to see all their options. Obviously they only took a look at the two bedroom options. Much like the outside the apartments had a quaint feel to them. The first two were rather small and probably wouldn't work well if they wanted to have anyone over for a visit. There was one that was kind of medium in size which seemed to work out better and a couple larger ones that were even better, of course. The question was how much they wanted to spend or if they wanted to keep looking. "Mmm, I'm not sure what to do. I like how close it is to the guild hall is though."

So much angst. Sarah will not help the situation.
I think the time thing works well. I just need to get used to it.

Always with the killing. Was this a guy thing or was she just dealing with psychopaths? "Our jobs come primarily through SHIELD or Cadmus. It depends on what they need. Most of the time we do what the job calls for no matter what. However I've come to learn that killing puts you on people's bad side. So I would like to keep it off the table unless needed." Taking the paper back she looked around the small space. "You will make some pay. But a bulk of it will be going to your sentence."

Lady Lobo
Wanting to keep this little encounter quiet the agents quickly moved Lady to the underground space that survived the attack. Taking all the equipment on the alien away they locked the woman's arms together with devices designed to hold some of the more powerful beings they'd encountered. Her legs were similarly shackled. They placed a collar around her neck and explained that it contained a sleeping gas to pacify her again should she attempt to break free. And finally Lady and a simple chair were placed in a containment field. Coming to to find herself captured she cursed under her breath. Still under the effects of the gas though she was a lot more calm, at least for the moment. "Where am I?"

Estella
Having had the chance to nurse her head it was wrapped to stop any more bleeding. Moving underground with the prisoner she watched her carefully. Whoever this was knew things about her that few would recognize right off the bat. Finally waking she stepped closer and glared at her. "In a lot of trouble. What the hell are you doing here? Who are you? Why did attack me? Were you the one that destroyed the academy?" Her questions just started coming out. Maybe she should slow down but it was a little late now. Taking a deep breath she backed off.

Lady Lobo
The questions came one after another and her disoriented brain took a while to process them. "I'm here because... because there are many rare species on this planet. I want to revive their population. I think." Bits and pieces of what she used to do were still fairly prominent parts of her motivation. The execution was the problem. "You can call me Lady Lobo. My real name is hard for humanoids to pronounce." She continued. The last two questions were were more serious and she woke up a little bit more. "Attack you? I wasn't trying to attack you. Ugh, but I guess I did." Leaning her head back she tried to keep herself stable.

It wasn't often she had a chance to think clearly. Her eyes darted around and examined the room. It looked like a large hangar or maybe a bunker. Losing the fight she grinned a bit and faced Estella again. "I didn't attack the academy. That would harm the specimens that you so rudely kept me from. With enough genetic material I can bring back near extinct races like yours. I'm living proof of the process." While talking she attempted to break free of her bonds but didn't have the strength yet to really do the job. Frustrated she stood up and moved around what little she could and more closely studied the containment she was in.

Awesome.

Hm, I should post with Anna. I suspect most would be busy with the attack though, plus it's rather late. Unsure who would be out and about.
So what's going on with everyone? Things are good I hope.
Autumn stayed seated while she tried to pull up what she knew on Charles Gordon. Having a vast knowledge didn't equate to instant recollection. The mind was still much like a computer's hard drive. The more information that is there the longer it takes to search. After a couple minutes she leaned forward. "I have never met him personally either but I am familiar with his work. His tactics leave no room for compassion. He served in the Union during the United State's Civil War as well as a few run ins with Native Americans. He hasn't always stayed on the radar, doing things in the side for the courts. But as I recall he has experience quelling rebellious supernaturals. If he is running things then we have our work cut out for us."

Perhaps now would be a good time to start a brood. It would take a week, five days at best, for the eggs to hatch into an eight legged army. At that point she would probably have to reveal herself to the rest of the group. However it would be better than dying. "I think our vampire friend has a vested interest in helping before things get out of hand. If we want to come out of this alive then there are preparations that I need to make that can increase our chances. Sadly it's nothing that can help us in the immediate future." Standing up she moved off to her own to think a bit.
Lady Lobo
Didn't pay much mind to the gunfire until she felt the shock from the bullets. She tensed up from the electricity which slowed her down quite a bit. It seemed to be more of an annoyance for her than anything. Before she really had much of a chance to do much she got pushed away from her target by Kalinda. "What the frag?" Glancing up there was a third person. Well, this wasn't turning out as planned. Or it wouldn't had she a plan to begin with.

Figuring that electricity worked well Estella added her own shock. Getting a bit overwhelmed it was time to play dirty. Fighting off the spasms from the electricity she kicked at a chunk of rubble. Her foot went right through and a chunk of concrete landed square on Estella's head and she dropped to the ground. "Alright, I'm done playing with you guys." Reaching behind her she pulled off the odd looking gun from her back. Holding it up she took at aim at Flood when a canister landed at her feet. Glancing down it began to spray out smoke. "Pff. I don't need to see in order... to... Oh it's sleeping..." Just as with Lobo himself, Lady was rather susceptible to sleeping gas. Her eyes rolling back a bit she fell over like a sack of potatoes.

Estella
Holding her head she glanced over as Lady fell over. Well for as much as people complained about SHIELD they had what they needed this time to end the conflict before it got too out of hand. Taking her hand off she could see blood on it. At least she could think straight. "That could have gone better." A couple agents ran up after the gas cleared to help out Estella while some others secured Lady Lobo. A containment cell was flown in and she would have been taken away had Estella not requested holding off so they could personally question her.
Lady Lobo
Glancing over Flood's shoulder the SHIELD crafts were getting away. She didn't have time for this, why was she standing here talking? "It's a complicated story. Could you just..." The young man continued and his reference to what some would consider good looking. The thought alone sent shivers down her spine. "Eew, no. I can barely stand having flesh and bones as is. I miss my beautiful exoskeleton." What she was talking about was hard to tell. She seemed rather scatterbrained like Flood was in the past. And of course she was strong. Did he know nothing of Czarnians? Perhaps not.

Something seemed to click after he asked what they were doing. Shifting her stance she jumped clear over him by several yards. "Sorry, but I really do have to get those samples." In another single leap it looked like she was going to make it to one of the transports before a gust of wind suddenly pushed her down. "Frag!" Crashing into the ground she picked herself up like it was nothing and took a look around. Estella was there, not about to let a crazy woman get away no matter what. However her alien origin drew the interest of Lady Lobo. She had a vast knowledge of extraterrestrial species and she knew a rarity when she saw one. She suddenly was very excited. "Oh oh! I can't believe it. A Suteruraruian right here in front of me! Earth is great." Reaching she removed one of the bullet shaped items wrapped around her. The end opened up which revealed what looked like a needle.

Estella
When the gray skinned woman made an attempt to escape Estella had used her ability to manipulate the air to ground Lady early. Smirking a bit it looked like this would be an easy task to keep her busy. Little did she know. Her opponent was weird but mentioned her race. How the hell did she know about Suteruraru? Before she could really ask she noticed the needle. Who was this anyway? Apparently on a mission now Lady Lobo closed the gap between them with surprising speed. Another blast of air gave her room to dodge as the Czarnian tried to get close enough to stab her. "Damn she's fast. Who the hell are you any... anyway." Barely dodging another strike her attacker seemed unhinged to say the least. Raising a hand Estella gave her a face full of fire.

"A lessened sentence. As I understand you're going to be here a while. Most people would rather to out. Consider it parole." She kind of wondered if he'd read everything on the page. But he seemed to have a rather disinterested expression and tone. This guy was a hard read. It was not a trait she particularly enjoyed. But it wasn't her call who was on the list.

Hm, at this rate the kid will be stuck by himself. The others might find a way out before he arrives.
