I had a concept and ran with it. Then I asked myself what she could do and it sounded like a job that any society needed filled and that she could perform without any trouble. Being all slimy I think a lot of jobs would be out.

ANNA

Originally a lifeless pool of chemicals. The future being was fortunate to reside in a pit where human sacrifices were made. Often the individuals were young girls. Of course that didn't matter as all were dissolved equally. What little did remain slowly began to culminate into a consciousness. Various weak memories formed a persona, Anna. Anna lived to eat it seemed, but increasingly became more picky about consuming the minds of its victims, adding the thoughts and memories to its own. She, as it had come to identified itself, still lacked any means to move or escape the pit though.

The concept of time was not really a thing perceived by the loosely sentient slime. However it had to have been hundreds of years before the War of Supremacy started. What used to be only human women started to become other more unusual beings that were thrown into the pit. One such was a young Necromancer. Her knowledge and power was unlike anything else Anna had encountered. Whilst consuming the helpless woman her connection to the dark arts took hold. The formless slime began to cling to the bones of her last meal. Scared and confused the new creature took the shape of a woman around the skeleton and climbed its way out.

As one might expect she did not fare well on her own. Most of her fragmented memories were from the young innocent girls that had yet to experience the world. Thankfully she was found by the Engineers and brought to Voldoa. There she essentially serves as a trash collector, picking up and dissolving the discarded material. Having been doing this for a while she has since split off into multiple other slime blobs that share a hive mind. Working together only one currently houses a skeleton and is considered capable of individual thought, that being Anna herself.
Lady Lobo
A flaming sword in her face got her attention and she put everything in reverse. She would probably be okay all in all but getting cut and burned did not sound like a whole lot of fun. Of course that wasn't what she brought up. "I am not Lobo's kid. Or, well, I guess technically I am. But if he hadn't burst in my lab and injected me with that virus then I wouldn't be this hideous..." Gesturing to her body at the end she stopped and leaned on one leg with her head cocked to the side. Her monolog had trailed off as she looked at Flood with a slight confusion.

How she processed information must have been very selective. She seemed rather oblivious to being threatened other than her initial retreat. Whatever rant she had been on came to a crashing halt. "Hot? What do you mean by hot? Are you calling me attractive?" The idea that anyone would say that to her was a foreign concept. Being a fleshy meatbag with an endoskeleton was far flung from what her species considered beauty. She was practically thrown off her own planet. Although flying a station into a small city probably contributed more to that than how she looks. But she still knew how noninsectoid species were treated there.

"Right. Let's see how this goes." Taking a seat in the little visiting room she glanced at the door on the other side of the glass as it opened. Reinhardt was escorted in and the door was shut behind him. "Hello sir. We have a proposition for you, if you're interested. For some reason our boss thinks you would be a good fit." Pulling out a sheet of paper she pressed it against the window where he could see.

Yeah. I have only watched the Anime. You don't really need to know a whole lot. If you end up having questions you can generally just ask and someone will probably be able to answer.

This Reinhardt would nat have been the first choice on her list of potential allies. He was in prison for a reason. However apparently he had some connection with Nicholas. "S you know this guy. How much can we trust him?" She asked as they were being escorted to a room where they could talk with the inmate. There would still be a layer of bullet proof glass between them so talking was actually through intercom.

Lady Lobo
As Flood approached she seemed to forget about the gunfire, though the agents did cut back a bit so as not to hit the man unnecessarily. Twisting and rolling to her feet she took a bow. "Doctor Grathrak Torsorro. But you humans seem to have trouble saying that so let's just go with Lady Lobo." Rocking heel to toe she leaned forward a bit. "Listen, all I need is a tiny little blood sample from your dead friends and then I'll be on my way. Otherwise I'm going to have to break something." Pinching her fingers together to signify something small. At least until her last sentence and she smiles brightly. It looked as if she liked the breaking something option.

Speaking of the agents the disruption put them into motion and they fast tracked loading everything into the planned transports and began to take off. "Hey, get back here!" Having completely forgotten about Flood she attempted to move around him.

Koarin

Northeastern proximity

The group of humans advanced up the mountain and made it up to the peak where they could see the city. Still up against the rocks she blended in well while not using her flames. Much closer now she could see the weapons they were carrying. What caught her attention most was the explosives. Such human inventions were used during the battle that took her family. Raising her head the smell of gunpowder was strong and brought back crushing memories.

In a brief moment of clarity since arriving in Voldoa she realized that others likely had families in the city. Here she was selfishly sulking over her loss when lives were in danger. She supposed she had hoped that she didn't need to do anything, letting others take care of it. But if anyone got hurt, especially any children, she wouldn't be able to live with herself. From personal experience the explosives were quite destructive and should be dealt with while further from people. Most of them had passed her without notice. So she had the element of surprise for a little while. Dragon people are not particularly well known for their stealth most of the time.

Raising herself up her eyes lit like candles as she took flight. Koarin was not as silent in the air as the owl man but by the time they would turn she would already be up in the dark sky. Swooping down she landed between two of the men carrying explosives. Reaching out with an arm she grabbed one by the throat while her tail whipped around the neck of another. While she could potentially ignite them the resulting blast could rain rocks down on the city or cause some kind of slide. It was also quite loud and they didn't need any more attention than they already had. Being larger than your average human when she spun around the two bodies lifted and were flung off the mountain without much effort. If they managed to survive they wouldn't be escaping anytime soon.

Well now she had their attention. Rather than just stand there waiting to be shot to death there was a quick inhale. Her stomach and chest took on an orange glow before breathing fire at her feet. Engulfed in a fireball she used the cover to slip away. Too many had made the mistake of charging in after being spotted and it cost them dearly. Koarin did not intend to make the same mistake.
@t2wave

Hm. I don't think that's gonna work for me. For one thing, I have an ear infection, and my ear is ringing. By itself, constantly. So me in a room with nothing is still this incessant ringing. I want to tear off my ear. For another thing, I'm constantly anxious. I've never thought about nothing. I dunno if I can empty my mind.

I had anxiety once. It was not fun. Everything was a source of tension even when I knew better. And then I learned I was lactose intolerant and milk can occasionally do that to me. Weird how something so simple can really throw you.

Uh... how? How do I think about nothing?

I don't know. I wasn't thinking when I tried it.
Angel
The tension was more than Angel wanted to deal with. Raising her hands she tried to calm things down a bit. "There is no need to fight amongst one another over such trivial things. We are to be a team and may need to rely on our fellow teammates to succeed." Her efforts may very well be lost on those here. Somehow she thought her words would be lost on Sarah.

The teen was more familiar with things though. Perhaps it would be a good idea to let her take over. Angel had actually missed the comment to their being something better when referring to her. "A pleasure to met you Raymond."
Close your eyes and enjoy an entire minute of silence while thinking about nothing.
