Ariel was thinking and watching the lacrama when Sayuri pointed out she was being a bit distant. Her Water magic took hold and she frowned slightly before sighing. "Oh uh, I'm sorry Sayuri. I'm just a little occupied." Turning from the games she focused on her friend and ran through her head what was said earlier. Was it a good idea to bring up her father? Hard to tell, maybe Sayuri wanted to vent. "What happened with you and your father? I'm all ears if you feel like talking."

Lila had some trouble with the bog, but thankfully her previous encounter afforded her some practice moving through it. This far it was still her least favorite place to visit. However once they reached solid ground the spider woman was able to move freely. The distance traveled on foot was not quite a problem. Her legs were not made of mostly muscle and acted more like hydraulics which made fatigue less of an issue.

When They came across some of the large flowers Lila approached them cautiously. Though sweet smelling she was not unaware that they could very well be poisonous. It was a mistake made in the past that she did not intend to repeat. As they trekked it was apparent that something was following. Lila could feel it in the air and the occasional glimpse. She was a little curious if she could catch whatever it was but that may not turn out to be a wise plan.

The forest seemed to go on forever. Each tree was much like the last. Were not for the sun they could have been in some trouble navigating. The fallen trees were of no consequence for Lila, but she stayed with the group using the height to take point until they were around the obstacle. By the time they found anything it was noon. Not far from them was a white pillar. Something spooked Grom and he took off with Kettle after. Hopefully Leon could hold on so as not to lose their supplies. Lila would likely be able to do alright with nothing, but the others may not be quite so accustomed to traveling so light. Looking back it was hard to tell where they had come. For Lila the only real indication was the thin trail of silk that she instinctively lay from time to time. However it was not continuous since they most likely were being followed. A magpie was nearby, something that at the moment looked rather appetizing.

Her concentration however was broken by a glimmer of red light that caused her to blink. Right, there was still the pillar to investigate. Glancing upward in the trees she spotted the source of the ruby colored glint. Which should she check first? Deciding that she could reach the ruby more easily than the others she left the pillar to them. Having a singular focus at the moment she had yet to notice the shadowy figure. Lila's unique physiology made ascending the tree a simple task and when she reached the ruby she pulled to free it from the bark.
Anybody home?

Nope. Sorry I was kind of at a loss for what to do.
For most of their time here Sarah had remained AG's form. However for this particular job it might be better to be her usual street punk self. "Understood. If Sarah wants to I'm sure she could blend in with the homeless." Approaching the teleporter the angelic form disolved in sparkles of light and Sarah stepped free of the residual magic. Brushing it off she huffed. "Gee thanks a lot Angel. Are you trying to say I look homeless?" Appearing to het the answer in her head the girl rolls her eyes.

Did she learn anything the last two months? Well that probably had to do more with her magic or the like. "Well I learned that when I change magic too much it really does a number on me. It's really taxing on my mind." There was more it seemed but it took her a moment to talk about it. "I wrote to my folks about Edolas, where I was born. They don't seem to want to tell me much about why they came here or how they traveled from Edolas." Huffing a bit it should be time for the preliminaries.

Taking the lacrama she was given she turned it on and set it to flip between the two Phoenix Wing teams. Seemed they were starting with a quiz. Some of the things she could figure out. Watching from far away was always so weird. You wanted to yell to help them out but of course they couldn't hear you.

And now I'm not quite sure what to do. This is where having more than one character can be of benefit.
@Zarkun Tis' a brief interaction. That's why I put something to end it.

Staring for a moment she wasn't quite sure how to respond. Nolan was acting strange. He smiled again before going into full on charm mode. Did Karn break Nolan in the last two months? Changing to Light she stepped closer to see if he would do anything different. "Because you aren't acting like your usual self. Like, at all. Are you sure you're alright?" It was probably a bad idea but she raised a hand to see if he was running a fever.

Sayuri approached which startled and drew Ariel's attention away from Nolan. "Ah! Oh, hi Sayuri. No the appartment has been great." The Light mage watched her pocket the teleportation lacrama. "You don't have to stay here with me. I'm sure it would be much better in person. Don't stay behind on my behalf." At least Ariel's mood was improved. Speaking of going to the games those participating needed to go. Turning back to Nolan she pointed that out. "You better get going. Can't afford to be late."

Smiling a bit, Ariel picked up the lacrama. She still wasn't all that pleased about having to stay behind but at least she would have a way to see things well. "Thanks Jarvis." Lacrama's were still something that were way above her head. It was probably worth learning because one other time she touched one she sucked all the magic out of it.

She heard someone say something, a complement. It took a moment to place the voice. "Thanks you Nolan." After a few seconds it dawned on her that Nolan just said something nice and calmly to her, a woman. Turning slightly she set the Viewing Lacrama down. Nolan's expression was uncharacteristically soft. "Hold on. Did you just compliment me? Are you feeling alright?"

Souvenirs? That wasn't exactly the same as being there to see it all in person. It was a nice gesture though. Huffing a bit Ariel shook her head. "No, that's okay. I'll be fine. It's just something I'm going to have to deal with. Thank you both though. Just have to use the lacrama." Smiling briefly she pushed herself away from the support and stepped away.

Not really sure what else to do she headed over to the counter to retrieve the lacrama she would use to watch the games. This was not something she'd used before. But apparently the thing was already all set up for when the games started. Where in the world would she put it to watch? It probably should be out in the open in case some others didn't go as well.
