Carol did not enjoy being whisked away or learning that they had been part of some procedure to make new heroes. Not without consent anyway. The explanation was not enough to dissuade the feeling either. Maybe she was being unreasoable. Everyone else seemed to take the news in stride. Don't get it wrong, she was greatful that the process had given her use of her legs back. It would also be extremely cool to be a superhero. But she still couldn't shake the feeling.

Having lost the wheelchair she walked with the rest through the tour. It was a lot to take in at once. For sure she was going to have to sleep on this. Assuming she wasn't already and this was just some fantastical dream. Eventually she was given a sheet with an overview of her new hero persona and what what to expect with her powers. Seemed that the serum she was given had some variation from one person to another. Mostly in the degree of strength and speed at which they could fly.

The cover they picked for her was interesting though. They must have been watching her checkout list from the library. Definitely based on mythologies she'd done some reading on. Probably a good idea to brush up on them to. Thomas probably could help with that. Deciding to pass on suiting up it seemed that the others were heading to the training room. Figuring it was as good an idea as any she went with them, catching up to Thomas. It was weird standing next to him rather than in the wheelchair. "I dont think all of this has sunk in yet. I'm not sure I'm ready for this job."

The magic in the area invisibly swirled around her. However none of it could get passed the emotion she had taken on. It was a thick melancholy. Not enough to be despair, but more like having been defeated in an effort. Ariel of course knew better. She'd managed to get through to Karn and start turning things around.

Finding a seat she plopped down in it and sighed. The game Edo-Karn was in was still going. Ariel only had a mild interest in the event itself. More she wanted to check on Karn at the end. A lot of other things seemed less important than his wellbeing at this point. Hard to ignore after such an intimate mental and emotional bond. She had no idea how to explain such a thing.

Her presence apparently drew some attention though. Since getting dragged here she had really only encountered a handful of her guildmates. Partly to avoid explaining why she was there and partly to avoid Marlene. For whatever the reason Trinity and Fleo were on their way to her. With very little passion she greeted them as they arrived. "Hello. You're peobably surprised to see me here."

My characters Damian and James from Phoenix Wing are free. Hunter, Ammy, and Jake are free from Dragon Fang. And, since I have no idea when @AdamantiumWolf will post, my guildless character Jane Addison is free as well. However, she is looking for either Jamie or Jarvis, or someone who can get her into the guild, right at the moment.

When Ariel absorbs another magic does her personality change to suit stereotypes of that type of magic (water is calm, fire is angry) or does she take on certain personality traits of the mage who's magic she's using?

The personality is based on the magic and not the person she gets the magic from. Though there could be some similarities depending. I don't think that Ariel would get any specific magic from either of the twins as she already has things that are close to it. However if it does remain Celestial in nature then I was thinking of what the interaction of the two magics would do to Ariel. Particularly when she is using her Spirit magic which encumpases the various spirit types that have popped up in the RP.
