Hello, everyone!

On October 6th, I will be undergoing a tonsillectomy. This is, for the first time in a year, forcing me to take time off work for my recovery.
During this time, I would love to have some roleplays going that are flowing, not stop and go. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that we get busy. I'm sure there will be a few days of me sleeping a lot or just being in a bad mood from pain, or just weak from hunger. However, if you can only post once every 2 or 3 days, we'd get like two posts in before I have to go back to work the following week.
Of course, we can keep going once I am back on the job, as I know how to make time for my RPs. I just ask that you don't forget about me.

With that out of the way, let's jump into a few rules.

1 ) This is high-casual +. I like to see around four paragraphs on average, give or take as needed.
2 ) I prefer males playing males and females playing females.
3 ) 18+ and open to mature/adult/18+ content if it arises.
4 ) PMs for RP, but we can ooc-chat on messenger if you prefer.
5 ) Be able to play more than one character at a time when needed, and be able to contribute. Don't make me dictate everything.
6 ) Maturity is a MUST. If you don't know how to work out a problem without throwing a 'blame game' tantrum, then we shouldn't RP.
7 ) I only roleplayer Hetero (where I am female).

When it comes to roleplays, I am open to most ideas. I have plenty of my own, but please, feel free to share your ideas as well. I love new ideas.

So, let's jump into the RP ideas. We'll start with originals and work our way into series.

1 ) Jasper's Asylum (Horror)

plot

A down-on-his-luck Journalist is in need of a big story to keep himself afloat. His last big hit came years earlier when he wrote an article about a patient suffering from demonic delusions. After that, nothing else hit big and life spun out of control. One night prior to bed, he receives an e-mail from someone named 'Gallagher'. He doesn't know who it is, but it mentions 'Jasper's Asylum'. This is the same Asylum he did his paper at years before.
The e-mail states that there is a story waiting for him. Patients are being experimented on and he could fix an injustice by revealing it to the public. Although he's unsure about the reliability of the e-mail, he doesn't want to miss his chance for something big and heads out immediately. The asylum is quiet and almost eerie. The gates are unlocked, but the main door is bolted tight. He plans to leave, but when he spots a broken window, he worries someone might be hurt inside and makes his way in.

What he doesn't know is that the e-mail only told half the truth. Although experiments were being run on the patients, the e-mail was actually sent by a young woman who is stuck in the asylum after the patients have broken free and slaughtered the staff and guards. When he ends up trapped in the same room with her on the second floor, he worries that she too is an insane patient due to the clothing she is wearing. The truth, as she explains, is that she is a doctor who was forced into confinement when she found out about the experiments and refused to keep it a secret. Knowing they cannot escape the way he came in, they decide to search for another way out, all while he records and takes note of the happenings within.

However, as they go deeper, their chance of survival begins to dwindle and their sanity is put to the test.

2 ) Freedom from a King (Medieval)

plot

The son of a tyrant king has been raised blind to the truth of his father's actions and led to believe that his father is a godsend to his people. All his young life, he has wanted nothing more than to prove his worth to his father, and soon the day comes when he is finally given the chance. His father requests that he, and a few men, go into the neighboring woods of the kingdom to find a group known as 'The Hunters'. The Hunters are a rebel group that have been known to kidnap and kill people from the kingdom, as well as ruin trade from foreign lands. He wants the leader dead by any means, as the king believes the group will disband if the leader is no longer present.

When in the woods, the prince and his men are ambushed. His men are knocked out cold, but he is left untouched. The leader of the group approaches and...the prince is surprised to find out she is a woman and not a man as his father had been stating... More so, the man who stands beside her as her guard is a man he knew growing up, a man who taught him to use a sword...

The woman states that everything the king says and does is a lie...and that he is a tyrant bent on absolute control... She gives him two options; He can give her two weeks to prove her case and in turn he can assist in overthrowing the tyrant king...or if she fails, she will turn herself in by his hand... Or he can turn around and go home without any interference from her people.

He knows that going home will only shame him, so he agrees to her deal.

3 ) Enclosure (Horror Survival)

plot

The universe is a mass of colonized planets. Earth is no longer the only livable and sustainable planet in the galaxy. Times have changed and people are thriving throughout, but one planet has been cast straight into Hell. Venus has become infected with a virus that has killed 95% of its population. Those who died have mutated into monsters and are hunting down the living as food. A man and his group managed to survive and hide away, but slowly they have died off one by one from wounds and suicide. Now alone, he struggles to survive.

One day, he hears a loud crash from above his safety bunker and goes up to investigate. What he finds is a crashed ship. The blood around he cockpit tells him that the monsters already got the pilot. He hurries back to his bunker, but becomes surrounded. Suddenly, he is saved by a woman--the pilot of the craft that crashed. She is clearly a trained fighter, with an illegal cybernetic arm that is considered a weapon and banned across the galaxy.

Now stuck along with him, she assists in finding other survivors to help them escape the planet. What she has to say though will come as a shock to the survivors.

4 ) Rome's Tranquil Blade (Roman)

plot

After being taken from her land alongside her twin brother and brought to Rome as slaves, her brother assists in her escape before she can be sold at the brothels, leaving him behind to be sent to fight in the coliseum for the entertainment of the masses. When she learns what they have planned for him, she asks the man he paid to rescue her to give her the chance to repay the debt and take his place. Although they are both against it, she forces them to allow the swap.

Her first battle is a small achievement, but each battle to come, she grows stronger and more brutal. Her brother is only safe as long as she wins, but in time, this no longer mattered...for he would succumb to his illness. Now, a year later, her life is in the arena as a prized and valuable fighter. Nicknamed "The Mute Warrior", she fights hard...but for no true reason other than to survive.

The emperor is very impressed with the fighter's skill, to the point his son has become enraged. His father always compares him to the fighter and doesn't praise his own skill, which is quite great compared to most. After watching a fight, he decides to confront the gladiator and ask for a fight. He storms into the bathing chamber in the arena where only a few slaves are allowed to bathe and finds...that his target...is in fact...a woman...

(This can also be swapped for the Emperor finding out).

5 ) Arachnophobia (Alien Horror Survival)

plot

When an spider-like alien race takes over Earth, society crumbles. Many are killed, others used as host bodies, and many are kept alive only to work and breed to create more food for the race. When the alien's learn of a group surviving in the middle of nowhere, they send in a general in a host body. He manages to bypass a faulty scanner and enters the facility as a 'survivor'. Quickly, he takes an interest in their female leader. Female leaders in his race are unheard of, more so, she is not like many of the female humans he has met, and her cybernetic arm shows her intelligence. The second in command, a close friend of the leader, does not like the man asking so many questions or watching her so closely, and he makes it very clear.

When his men come in for the attack that night, he ends up assisting her in escaping. Later, he reappears to ask that he join their side. Humanity is doomed and he could provide her safety if she will put her mind to use for them. She refuses, telling him that he should join their group to see that humans are not as weak and pathetic as his kind believes.

Although he doesn't like the idea, he doesn't want her to be killed and joins, despite the rejections from the second in command and many in the group. She believes that, if he can switch to their side, he is their only hope to getting in close enough to take out the mother-ship and the leader.

6 ) Thrown Back (Medieval Twist)

plot

One late Halloween night, a young woman is in a rush to get to her friend's party. She knows they plan to break into an wax-museum to try and scare the new students from their college. While in the museum, she becomes separated from her friends and feels as if someone is following her. In a panic, she runs, becoming even more lost. When she stops, she is in the Medieval area of the museum. She leans on the well to take a moment to calm her nerves, only to be pushed in by an unseen force.

When she comes to, she is lying in a pile of hay inside an old shack. Beyond the doors, she finds herself in the real Medieval times. People immediately react to her strange appearance, and the executioner of the king brings her to the castle, accusing her of being a witch. The prince, being a teenager, is more mesmerized by her appearance than the accusations of her being a witch. His elderly maid tells him she is from a land far to the north that was burnt down in a raid. Although lying for the sake of the woman, the King immediately believes her due to his trust in his maid. He gives the woman a room and clothing.

The maid warns the woman to be quiet and stay as far away from the executioner as she cans. She knows the woman is not from this time period, as she is woman who deals in magic, but she foresees many problems to come.

The executioner is the biggest of them, as she finds out that he was who brought her here, needing her assistance in killing the King... The king has taken quite a liking to the woman, making it easy for her to get close to him on the executioners behalf... He is only giving her two options; she must kill...or be killed.

7 ) Bloody Wings (Victorian Fantasy?)

plot

For millenniums, she wandered the human world as an angel in disguise to keep the people safe. When ever came afoot, she's send if off without a bead of sweat, but never in her time on Earth had she met someone like him. When asked to join a holy group of men to invade a manor in the woods where they someone has been possessed by the devil, she jumps in ready to assist. Unfortunately, they learn quickly that it's more than it seems as the men are quickly killed off as they search the home.

When the lord of the manor announces himself to the angel, she can tell that he is no possession, it is simply the devil himself. Immediately, she feels a darkness surrounding the manor that traps her within, as her holy power alone cannot break the barrier. When she asks why he's trapping her, he explains that through his many years in control, he never experience the ownership of an angel, as angels dragged into Hell would become fallen, if not demons themselves. On Earth, however, her purity would remain intact and he could revel in the beauty of a true angel.

Though a demon, he does enjoy the finer things in life--things that Hell cannot give him.

8 ) A Servants Touch (Roman/Persian/Adult 18+)

plot

When a Persian King accepts the offer to marry the daughter of the Emperor of the Roman Empire in exchange for stopping a raging war, he sends his closest servant (a childhood friend of his) to watch over her while he takes care of work in his homeland before the marriage. The servant is loyal to his king, but finds it hard to resist his attraction to the bride-to-be.

To his surprise, she finds a mutual attraction in him as well. Although he tries to avoid her for the sake of his friend, she is less inclined to care about the consequences and pursues him, and winning him over easily after a few tries. To their dismay, soon the King comes and she is married. However, when they return to Persia, the king is often busy, allowing the two time together.

But all good things come at a risk, and the two must decide what the future holds before the dire consequences of their actions are fulfilled.

9 ) Tears of an Angel (Medieval Fantasy)

plot

She'd always been the rebel, going against the laws of her kind. She loved to sore around the human world, unseen by the inhabitants During her visit, she stumbles upon a man, the prince of the nation, on the brink of death. Not wishing for him to die, she heals him and returns him to his castle. The prince had run away, refusing to marry a woman he had never met. When he awakens, finding that he has been saved and the feather of an angel on the floor, he believes it is destiny and that he must marry the woman.

The angel, after a scolding from her fiance--The Angel of Punishment--about interfering with destiny, she returns to the human world to check on the prince. When she sees the princess he is to marry, she is horrified to find it is a demon is disguise. She begs her fiance to allow her to stop them, but he tells her she may not interfere. The prince is destined to die and she must not intervene again.

Refusing to accept destiny as something written in stone, she seeks out a fallen angel in the pits of hell--The Angel of Darkness. She needs her wings removed to be able to be seen by the humans... He tells her he will remove her wings, but only if she agrees to his terms... If she manages to stop the marriage, he will return her wings to her and allow her back into Heaven... If she fails, the morning after the wedding she will be dragged into his realm and given wings of black to forever be at his side.

Believing it has to be done, she agrees and allows him to remove her wings.

10 ) Peace, Love, and Bloodshed (Adult/18+/ Medieval Fantasy).

plot

She is a legend, a deity, and drop dead gorgeous. Her power and her looks are what make her a powerful source to be reckoned with. She has a belief that life is about peace and love, and if anyone stands in the way, blood will be shed. Although rarely seen, she comes when called by those who need her assistance in bringing peace to the land.

One king, who has raged a war with another across the sea, has asked for a treaty and been denied. In turn, he has called upon the deity who sends her own letter to the king, warning him that if he does not agree to the treaty, she will come and find him. When he continues to deny the treaty, she begins her long journey to cross the sea...

Scared, the king hires shaman to arise a powerful demon to fight the deity when she arrives. He tells the king that in exchange he will want 101 souls... A hundred of them must come from the people of his kingdom...but the final soul will be that of the deity...
