I went and found the rest of my soul being guarded by a giant floating rock and punched it. My soul, I mean. Not the rock. I yelled at that.

How many unarmed, flaccid clones of yourself do you think it would it take to kill Harambe?

The Dragonfly

Suddenly the child burst off in a burst of speed, whatever he had been carrying seemed to have a fuse to it- emitting a dull glow as he moved closer and closer to the SWAT squad that he had been tasked to play guardian angel for.

"Keep an eye on the woman for me!"

He kept the gun trained on the child as it darted through the trees, moving from place to place at a blinding speed he almost had an issue keeping up with. Suddenly he skidding to a stop, his arm winded back and prepared to throw the object into the midst of the unaware SWAT agents. The guardian angel took a deep breath, and imagined target practice. His huge finger pulled back on the trigger, and the suppressed bang that followed signaled a successful shot. The small child's crumpling figure signaled a successful kill. The mother screamed and ran at her child, and the object he had been carrying exploded.

"Something's happening to mama-bear!"

He turned the reticle to the mother to see she had erupted into a fountain of blood, huge claws, wings, horns, you name it- she was becoming some form of demon-esque creature. She screeched again and disappeared in a burst of fire. He cursed under his breath, and turned his attention back to the firefight that had erupted at the building before them.

"Oi, open this door!"

Henry's attention was taken away from the english teacher's monolog regarding the comedic moments in 'The Taming Of The Shrew' and brought to the yelling he could hear not too far away in the kitchen. [b]"Excuse me, I must depart."[b] he said suddenly, departing from the small group that had congregated in around the teacher. He followed his sense of smell, and hearing as opposed to actual sight to maneuver his massive body around guests and tables. He entered the kitchen, his mere presence immediately demanding the attention of everyone in the room. The cook fell silent as all activity died down and turned around from the door.

"There a problem in here?"

The cook's eyes widened. "Oh uh, y-yes. There's a student in the storage room. Refuses ta' come out."

Henry made no comment, rather he simply moved the man out of the way and went to work on the door. He put his shoulder too the wood and turned the handle (more than likely breaking the handle as he did so), and pushed the door open with ease. He held his tongue as to not say anything that was unprofessional in front of a student. A 'Here's Johnny!' probably would not go over well. He smelt the air and immediately the scent of a familiar face washed over him. His eyes adjusted and his theory was confirmed as he was greeted with the sight of none other than Meredith Hillard. A fellow teacher- a biology teacher to be precise. It was a welcome sight too, as he could relax around another teacher well enough and he wouldn't have to fill out paperwork later regarding the student's punishment. He ducked under the doorway and walked into the room to block off the exit with his frame. His eyes did not leave her for a moment as he scooted off to the side and grabbed a piece of bread himself, and promptly swallowed it whole.

"So," he began, leaning against the wall. "I do like the idea, but I gotta ask Ms. Hillard- we're about to be served food. Why now of all times?"

She was an open book. He did not know her, at least not yet, but she wasn't a very secretive person by the looks of it. She wasn't very mature- that much was obvious and she had an appetite that was almost as insatiable as his own. She was beautiful enough- but he had read into enough files to know a little bit about her in that this was not what she really looked like. Call it a work related, acquired habit but in his days working against these kinds of people he had learned to do a little homework to know what he could be dealing with. He had learned of those that flaunted their power like no tomorrow and of those who kept them concealed. He wondered what this woman was like in that aspect.

"What do you say we adjourn. Join me for dinner? I always get huge portions." he asked, attempting to solve the situation peacefully as opposed to using force. This was his co-worker here. Forming a good bond with someone usually was a good thing in a work environment. He must've looked awfully strange- a gigantic reptilian monster in a suit and tie speaking politely and evenly. "Agent Henry Olin, staff self defense instructor and guidance councilor. Veteran Elite- at your service."

Martin & Nessa

"Get him over to me!" Martin yelled, a certain quality to his voice that turned heads in his direction and demanded authority and respect. Nessa herself was stunned, Martin was never this... authoritative about his work. Not too far away a few engineers were assisting three others who seemed badly injured. One far more so than the others. "Nessa, help them out moving him over here." he stated, moving off to his left to gather a blanket from other passing engineers. As the badly injured man was placed in front of him on the large blanket. The man's leg was in terrible shape. He had caught a bullet at the knee. The leg would never function without terrible pain again.

Martin used one of his long thing fingers to cut off a corner of the blanket, and then wrapped it around a stick. Then he passed it to Nessa. "Have him bite down on this. Then come back around to his leg. I'm going to need your help." he said. He then lifted his eyes to one of the engineers from earlier, who had returned from the medical evac. [color-ebebd2]"You! Come around to his head and hold it. If he starts struggling, pacify him."[/color] he said.

Nessa moved around to the man's head, and motioned for the other engineer to kneel down and hold his head upwards by resting it on his lap. The man was in shock, it was easy to tell based off of the glazed look in his eyes. But he was alive and looking around. She carefully opened his mouth for him and placed the cloth wrapped stick in. "Bite down on this." she said as calmly as she could. She was freaking out internally. She had never seen or done anything like this before. However, Martin seemed to work well under stress and knew what he was doing. He did work for Kantus after all. "Wait, what are you-" the other engineer began to say, only to be silenced by a glare from Nessa herself. She then moved back around to her friend's side.

"We'll need to amputate it. Then cauterize the wound." he said simply. With his finger he cut off another strip of cloth and tied one end around a stick, then wrapped it around the man's injured leg and began to turn it. The man cried out at the pain as the cloth tightened painfully around his leg, but was held down by the other engineer. There was a silence for a moment as Martin held the tourniquet before grabbing Nessa's wrist and placing her hand on it. There were no words exchanged, she knew to hold it tight.

Martin then went to work. With the sharp side of his finger he began cutting around the man's knee, avoiding the bone of the femur but going through the muscle and tendons of joint like a knife through butter. The man screamed bloody murder, foam rising from his mouth. His cries sounded around their area and no doubt beyond it. "Shut him up!" Martin yelled, prompting the engineer to wrap his arm around the man's neck and begin to choke the man until he passed out. Soon his cries fell silent, but his body still needed to be restrained. There was a sickening sound as the man's leg hit the ground- departing from it's body forever. With his free hand Martin pushed it off to the side. "Nessa, give me your other hand." he said, causing the demon to offer the hand that wasn't being used to hold the tourniquet together. Her palm lit up red hot as she drew from her powers and Martin grabbed her wrist, burning the flesh of the stump to prevent him from bleeding to death. The terrible smell of burning flesh enshrouded the three.

"Hold the tourniquet, I'm going to remove the rag from his mouth." he said, prying open the unconscious man's jaw and removing the stick and rag, along with any splinters that had broken off from him biting down on it. "On the count of three, we're all going to lift him and get him to the medbay. I'll get his legs. You two get under his arms." he said as he walked around and took hold of the tourniquet from Nessa and lifted his other good leg. Nessa, seeing this as her prompt, took her place at the man's torso.

"Watching his head. Three... two... one... lift."

Another man's life was saved that day.
Here still.
I guess I'll wait a little longer then.
Well, it's been fun guys. But since this project's going south, I'm probably going to jump ship pretty soon. I'll give it another day or two but...
The problem with people asking his name is that NO ONE CARES.
