The Irish Captain got up and cleared his throat for the first time he was actually looking professional since he got into the room itself. "Hey there listen up all of you and shut up I don't want to hear it from any of you children or you officers. We have come to an agreement. This agreement is the following: To prevent the leaking of knowledge about these suits in mass as to not cause chaos we are offering you the spots in the army of OMNI. You will be 'honorably discharged' from ORB for the time in OMNI. OMNI will offer increased pay or otherwise for you if you accept this offer? Why do we want you in OMNI you're going to ask next I bet. "The answer: We want you to pilot the mobile suits known as .G.U.N.D.A.M. for us until such a time where we can find pilots. If you decline this offer you will be asked to sign legal papers that threaten legal execution if you are caught talking about the suits until such a time where they become well known. So what do ya all say to that offer eh?" Welsh asked patiently as Richard sat there in silence as he thought about what happened and all the lives lost....and of course his long lost friend suddenly showing up as a terrorist. This was all insane....all of it! But what could he do about it? He could curl up and sign the papers....or...."I accept the commission granted in full view of the Head of ORB's Noble Families and yourself Captain Welsh. I want to pilot Calamity for a better future. ZAFT or whoever is behind this will pay!" Richard said without a second's more hesitation to the contrary.

Gundam OO - Celestial Grandeur

The year is in the middle of 2307 AD August 4th. As a result of the depletion of fossil fuels, humanity had to search for a new source of power. The power was found in the form of massive arrays of solar power collectors orbiting the Earth, and supported by three orbital elevators, each one serving one of the three "power blocs" on the planet, namely Union, controlling the region surrounding North America; Human Reform League, consisting of China, Russia and India; and AEU, which controls mainland Europe. With this nearly inexhaustible source of energy benefiting only the major powers and their allies, constant warfare erupts around the globe among minor countries for fuels and energy. Countries that once economically relied on the sale of fossil fuels have plunged into poverty. Some even believe that solar energy threatened the "world as we know it", resulting in the 20-year Solar Wars. The world was plunged into chaos leading to an armistice that lasts even to this day. No nation dares break their fragile peace but still fights wars with one another over smaller nations and is for all intents and purposes 'a cold war'. After the many years of war this chaos led to the secret formation of a private military organization, called Celestial Being , dedicated to eradicating war and uniting humanity through the use of advanced machines called Gundams. These machines went through multiple generations and improvements leading to what they are today. They have saved numerous lives and prevents war from breaking out all while remaining anonymous and secret thanks to a network of spies and advanced technology. The men and women who pilot these gundams are known as Gundam Meisters, these pilots sided with Celestial Being for their own reasons and were chosen by the machine known as VEDA to prevent the world from being a desolated wasteland. Currently Celestial Being has two teams one being under former Union Commander Rowan Cardinal known for his involvements in multiple conflicts and his harsh but brilliant leadership abilities. The second and main group is lead by Zhou Gang a Human Reform League scientist whom left the nation due to reasons that remain secret to this day. His aide is Michelle Beck from Brazil whom is noted for his strategic abilities. Together these two groups and their supports prepare to change the world....

FAQ:
1. This will be very similar to the start of the canon series Gundam OO, but no canon characters will be in the story. However no non-canon gundams will be allowed in the story either.
2. You may use any 3rd or lower generation gundam but it's heavily insisted you use a gundam. Though if you'd like you can use a flag or a Enact or whatever be it with GN condensers.
3. You may be whatever age you'd like but keep it reasonable I'd prefer not to see eight or seventy nine year old people piloting advanced suits of destruction.
4. You may not be a newtype or an innovator. You may be a super soldier (with explanation on how you survived or escaped the project), or an innovade if you prefer. Normal humans are also acceptable.
5. You need a reason to be in Celestial Being being born into it or through whatever be it you can't simply just be in celestial being or found it they'd more than likely kill you as recruit you.
6. Pacifists are unlikely to be in giant robot terrorist machines remember that if you're ordered to kill someone you will most likely have to do it. In Celestial Being for the greater good of humanity you do what you must less something unfortunate may happen.

It has been three months since the Equalist attack on Republic City and it's subsequent take over by Amon's forces and then their failure after the unmasking of their leader and his lies. The Equalists for all intents and purposes are fractured and or gone vanishing back into everyday life. Avatar Korra is hailed as a hero as is the majority of the Republic City Defense Force and the United Alliance's armies. With Republic City recovering from the destruction and still suffering from crime which has risen since the reinstatement of the police and the riots by still loyal Equalists. However some miles away from Republic City lies the trading route city similar to Republic City but without a reputable water source it heavily depends on it's airfields which allow the airships to bring in supplies by transport. There is a small river running through the city but the water is not sufficient for anyone but fisherman who barely make a meager earnings. This city is named Wu Xing (Earth in more native tongues) is home to not only a metal bender academy but is also a gambling capital and has well known Pro-Bending Tournaments hosted almost all year every month. However with that being said there are four gangs that have been unleashed upon the city making live miserable for the locals and travelers alike though they would protest that they do all that much to harm the city. The first of which being the Red Cat Gators, The Brown Mole Bears, The Blue Flames, and The Lightning Prodigals all of which are sly and very business savvy. However there's been rumors going about lately, unsettling ones at that, that say another gang is forming under the head of a mysterious man.

Alright FAQ Time:
1. Air Bending will be allowed but pro-benders don't have an air slot so that being said air bending will not be allowed with a pro bending background. Also you must not be very well known. The most likely scenario being that you came from a rather unknown area and are rather new to bending or have kept it rather secret.
Once you start bending in the city you may very well be noticed but the canon cast will be kept out by: "Being busy with Equalists rebels" unless requested to make an appearance in which case they may come in late roleplay to see you.

2. Blood Bending, 'Duel' Bending, Lava Bending, and any advanced form of bending is off the table unless it's metal bending/Sand Bending which has become common.

3. I'm aiming for a group that is from their teens to early mid twenties. Adult characters are HEAVILY discouraged due to the nature of the roleplay.

4. The canon cast will not be involved in this roleplay. The whole purpose of this being semi-canon is to get rid of any questions about the avatar and or who the avatar is at the moment. Canon cast shall not be allowed at all.

5. This will be a little darker in the sense of a Dark Knight (Batman) sense where there will be violence and possibly death but not on a scale I hope to keep this true to the series and prevent character deaths if possible.

6. Non benders are allowed as long as they're not equalists themselves. They may have been trained by them but no actually involved themselves due to plot reasons. You also may be a chi-blocker or whatever be it and no be at all affiliated with the equalists past or present.
