High Casual - Naruto - A New Journey.

Well that went fast.

for Rin's character: I'm not sure having a blind character would be beneficial to this roleplay especially since the start of the roleplay will involve a scavenger hunt per say. Also she'd need to be cut down a couple ages to around 13 to 12 which are around the average age of genin from the naruto series. My suggestion for the blindness make it so she is either near sighted (or simply bad eye sight in general) and I'll allow her bloodline some high resistance to illusion based genjutsu but some genjutsu like Cee's from the Kumokagure are light based. Having complete immunity to genjutsu is something I'm not especially comfortable with. Also note that shadow clones are a jutsu I wouldn't allow simply because they are fairly hard to make and Naruto simply was able to make them through sheer chakra levels. My guy will have a wood clone based jutsu but it is rough and it takes a lot out of him even with his extensive talent in ninjutsu.

Also I'm a bit confused on exactly what that song based jutsu does Rin.

Personality: Kind and (somewhat) virtuous, Mitsuhide is a very understanding boy for his age and has a fascination with nature in general finding it beautiful and loves to simply lay down and look at it for others. He is a loves the peaceful nature of the village and the area around it and normally has a bright smile on his face. Mitsuhide is very trusting towards his friends and is very hurt when he is betrayed by someone holding a grudge for a very long time. He has a faint distrust of the Uchiha Clan due to their histories during the shinobi war. However he is not trusting without reason as his family is always remembered the betrayals they've suffered and as a result this impression was forced onto a young Mitsuhide as well. Despite this however he still has a couple of friends inside the Uchiha Clan. He is very grateful of others and is always willing to repay someone's kindness and is never one to forget when someone had helped him. He loves animals and is especially fond of young dogs but most wild life also makes him curious as well be them flowers or boars. He keeps his word as often as he can and is always the first one to admit he made a mistake thinking of it as a learning experience in his excitement to grow up. While he is energetic he is not overly so and keeps a calm demeanor for the most part but when allowed to he lets his child like side of himself do what it wants. He is quick to make a friend and tries his best to help others with their down faults if they look like they are struggling. However he tries his best not to bring up personality faults. He is not one to pull pranks on others or to act out but he is somewhat sarcastic and sometimes whines a bit when he doesn't like what he hears. Despite this Mitsuhide somehow manages to be polite when the occasion rises.

History: It was during the great shinobi war when the clan Senju and the Uchiha Clans built the village Hidden in the Leafs and which came to be a very powerful village in the day to come. However before dying Hashirama settled down and produced a family that would be protected by his brother until his demise. The Senju clan has thrived and grown strong two generations later as the new heir to Hashirama Senji appeared in the form of Mitsuhide. Mitsuhide was gifted with great chakra reserves and a natural talent as well as the clan's natural ability to heal similar to that of the Uzumaki Clan but still slightly inferior in chakra and healing prowess. As a child Mitsuhide proved to be a handful, as he was always exploring and trying to see new things; even as a baby he was one to quickly figure things out or simply enjoy small things while disliking large and noisy things. He was often read to as a child by his father who helped him train when he came of age and he was taught some simple first aid by his mother on the side because of his tendency to go out and get himself hurt falling on trees.

However something was different about this Senju boy, whom his father found to be talented in many ways, and when the time came, and by complete accident none the less, while trying out a basic jutsu he accidentally summoned some wood out of the ground leading to the boy being hailed as The Boy of the Wood Style or by some of his more fanatical family members a possible second coming of the first. He was confused about being compared to his great grand father but he liked it too, his grand father being a great hero, and all the boys various friends, whom he had a plenty of, were mixed in their feelings between being surprised and not so much as they expected many things from this Mitsuhide whom had proven himself a already capable ninja in his training exercises.

He has often gained many friends throughout the village, but not because of any special skills or his kekkei genkai, but because of his upbeat attitude and general friendly joking nature. He is often a boy who doesn't give up and tries his hardest no matter what the task is. His drive pushes him to become stronger and better which is why he had become so skilled in ninjutsu. However he is known to have some humility despite his pride clearly willing to admit when someone is better than him, well at least when he wants to. He wasn't much of a prankster and didn't like messing things up around the village but he did enjoy making a good joke at someone's expense. While he had many expectations pushed upon him, especially with the second nickname he was called a lot less often, his drive and determination to live up to it his expectations. But he didn't show it outright as a goal and never stated it he simply said he wanted to be better for his family. He passed at near the head of his class in ninjutsu, bottom in genjutsu, and he did fair in his Taijutsu skills but despite this his reputation has become slightly overblown. While he is bombarded with expectations Mitsuhide has graduated the academy with a smile on his face and a fearsome determination in the will of fire in his heart.

do forgive the rather small looking description the original interest check was lost with the guild and was larger. Also please ignore post count unless stated otherwise.

It has been some few generations since the ninja wars (the second one was the most recent) have ended and the villages have been in a state of pseudo-peace for generations now as the kages have managed to keep things from springing up but minor conflicts still occur occasionally. The main villages and the lesser known ones still employ ninja as their main asset in making money from locals and nobles alike as well as keeping peace and preforming espionage on neighboring countries and rogue groups of bandits. They keep the peace and grow strong on their own while protecting what is most dear to them. Legends of old have come and gone and entire villages have vanished into the anneals of time only for new ones to come up in their stead. Powers never seen before seen are appearing from ninja who are making the world into their own personal testing ground while keeping up the appearances as law abiding shinobi. For many years these ninja have made the world into what it is now and the samurai are reduced to a minor fraction of their power in the land of iron.

However a new legend is brewing and is in the works. This story will foldout as a new group of genin prepare to face their journey into a brand new world. These genin will shape the ninja world with their tenacity and will and make the world a different place for better...or for worse. This is the tale of a group of ninja who shall make their own journey.

FAQ:
1. All basic roleplay rules apply
2. The Jounin spot shall be reserved for an NPC due to the chunin exams. After those happen chunin and lower level jounin shall become available. For now all player characters start at the rank of brand new genin.
2.5: Also while there are canon character in the past they're all more or less dead or non existent. They only exist to serve as a basis for what the roleplay currently is on. That includes Tobi, Minato, The Third Hokage (died with Tobirama), Naruto, Itachi, Danzo (Similar fate to Tobirama), Pain, etc have no influence on this roleplay, are dead, and or weren't born at all. This roleplay starts around the time of what would have been Kakashi's generation but with the nations having a second great ninja war that ended way before this roleplay started. They exist simply to fill out a backstory for the time period. To give you an idea everything up to the third hokage's reign is canon. In this rp the fourth is in reign at the moment and the third died some time ago due to illness.
3. You're able to be a tailed beast holder but you will have less jutsu in exchange for having said beast at the start. You will have little to no of control of the beast as well and will gain it over time. This is to make things fair for those without tailed beasts because you gain advanced healing and the chakra cloak when in extreme danger.
4. Jutsu have to be properly leveled to the character meaning a genin/chunin wouldn't have some move like Rasengan/Chidori/Shadow Clone off the bat. We're not the legendary Minato Namikaze but we may become similarly powerful later in the roleplay.
5. Jutsu will be gained, strengthen, and learned as the rp goes along therefore will be rather weak at the start of the roleplay.
6. No KG of the following: Blaze Release, Dark Release, Dust Release, Kurama Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Rinha Clan's Kekkei Genkai, Ryūzetsu's Kekkei Genkai, Sakon and Ukon's Kekkei Genkai, Swift Release, MG Sharingan(at the start at least and this is restricted to Leaf Village ninja to start out with sharingan) , Rinnegan, Kimmimaro's Kekkei Genkai. Likewise certain kekkei genkai are village restricted unless given a good (Read: legitimate) backstory on why they have it.

Of all the god forsaken militaristic bastards besides ZAFT you've chosen that path? Fine it's your path you choose to live it. No matter what remember that it is YOUR hand that guides your fate. No one else is at fault but you. You're not like some kids in the middle east who have no other choice but to fight or die. When you got to ORB you chose to be a soldier in the defense of these islands. Now that you're with OMNI....Your job is to defend Earth from the space fairing peoples. Don't surrender, show no mercy, and never look back less you see the mountain of bodies that you laid to waste. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind....but is it better for everyone to be blind rather than judging each other? Or do you take the chance? Do you take the chance that they won't hate each other? Coordinator, human, clone whatever the hell you believe you are we're all the same on the inside. You shoot me and I bleed just like a coordinator." Sendo's words were to Augustus as he started to fade back into unconsciousness, "And....one other thing....you don't need to thank me. Sendo said before he fell back into unconsciousness as the doctor grunted, "Interesting set of words....but all philosophical bull crap if you ask me now get those bandages changed doctor brown." the head doctor said as the soldier looked at Augustus, "Alright so the commander's going to be out for awhile so unless you got some softy bull shit to say to the man when he's sleeping it's time for you to let the doctors do their jobs." the soldier commented as he gestured with his gun to the door. "Have fun in OMNI, you traitorous bastard....They brought this on us...." The soldier complained quietly as he waited for Augustus to leave.

Stan and Richard had parted way some half way towards the docks due to Stan needing to go and help re calibrate the suits in the Lucifer's hanger and do his rounds to make sure no OMNI Soldiers were lost in the battle. The bodies where still questionably leaning towards there being more dead than wounded and still no note of anyone being taken alive. As Richard walked towards the building that he and his friends normally gathered at he couldn't help but wonder if Yuri had made it out alive. Yuri....Yuri had apparently gone out of his way to make sure the person who got Sendo didn't get away....and hasn't been seen since then. The small island was covered in a underground network complex from some long outdated war period and it was entirely possibly he got lost or was killed down there when chasing one of the enemies. Yuri was the one among them who had a sense of humor while still being serious when he needed to...."Oh come on please don't be dead..." Richard said to himself as he clutched at his cell phone.

When he finally reached the building he was glad to note that while it was closed it wasn't structurally harmed. "At least the city doesn't have any major civilian casualties. If that was so...Selena....I will find answers from you..." Richard said as he looked at the building, when all of a sudden from behind he was nearly tackled and was quickly followed by sound of Toyo. "HEY YOU MADE IT YOU MADE IT HAHAHA! YOU BIG LUCKY BASTARD YOU! I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOUR SORRY ASS YOU KNOW!" Toyo quickly said as he hugged Richard tightly much to Richard's strange mixture of happiness and being flat out of uncomfortable. "You know one thing Toyo and that's how to show someone your happy you mini-sized little bastard. Glad to see the enemy mistook you for a child and let you live." Richard countered as Toyo slapped him on the back and pushed him forward. "Hey just because I'm small doesn't mean crap boss! We can't all be uber tier pilots like you! It's not my fault I'm small I drank a lot of milk when I was growing up it just didn't help me that much." Toyo pouted sarcastically which made Richard laugh only to be broken up when the familiar tone of Toyo being slapped came along. Satsuki had finally arrived, "Richard....Toyo....." Satsuki said solemnly as if she already knew what Richard was going to say when it hit him like a brick that Satsuki was particularly close to Yuri...."Hey Satsuki how's it going...?" Richard asked as Toyo rubbed his head and glared at Satsuki who sighed deeply, "Well the fact that we're missing one member of our fellowship doesn't make me feel any better for starters Richard. And the battle isn't doing me any favors....I'm just glad you survived you bull headed idiot. I heard that you were one of the people who managed to stop the hijacking of one of those prototypes. But you nearly got killed-" Satsuki said before moving over and grabbing Richard before shoving him onto her into a fierce hug while Satsuki rested her head over his shoulder, "DON'T. YOU. DARE. BE AS BRAVE AS YOU WERE THEN EVER AGAIN GOT IT!?" She growled at him as Richard wrapped his arms around her and clapped her on the back, "It's okay I'm not some suicidal guy I promise I won't be as crazy as I was then but I can't promise I won't be as brave, or rather stupid, as I was yesterday ever again. A soldier's life is danger you taught me that right?" Richard said as Satsuki gripped him tighter, "You stupid, inconsiderate, indiscriminate, jerkass do you know how much I worried about you when I wasn't nearby. I went into full soldier mode but your one of my best friends I won't let you go off and kill yourself. That goes for you two little man." Satsuki proclaimed as she let go of Richard and turned to Toyo, "I know I'm at fault for making Yuri run off but I'm hoping that he is out there somewhere on this island somewhere. What will I tell his little sister if he is really gone...." Satsuki said as Toyo choose to break her moody attitude, "Hey! IT'S GOD DAMN YURI! Of course he's going to be ok you silly woman! Have more confidence in him he's probably just got knocked out somewhere. It's not like we know he's gone. Once he's back we'll all have a god damn awesome party at my house!" Toyo said as Satsuki proclaimed loudly that she'd like that very much.

Richard sighed to himself and smiled at his companions. How much they meant to him was something he'd never be able to replace....but he knew that they may not enjoy the news coming out of his mouth...but he's going to have to break it one way or another...."Hey guys....effective tomorrow...I'm going to be a soldier for OMNI. I'm leaving the ORB military; Due to the fact that I piloted one of those suits so efficiently I'm going to be one of OMNI Enforcer's soldiers for the foreseeable future. But...I want you to-" Richard started to say before Toyo smiled at him, "Well boss I honestly expected that. You're good at your job....and I'm going to assume that your first mission is to make those bastards pay. I don't know all the details but hey I'm your man. And I will support you no matter what happens." Toyo said as Richard's face was forced to smile as he fought back tears, "And don't forget about me you imbecile. You better not get yourself killed or I'll fight my way down to hell itself to bring you back. And I will never forgive you if you die on me before we all meet back here together one day. Promise me you won't die." Satsuki said to Richard who breathed in deeply, "I promise I won't die Satsuki." Richard said as she grabbed him and forced him into another tight hug, "You better not break this promise. I'll be waiting for you to come home. ORB may no longer be your military faction but to me....you'll always be that little stump of a boy who stumbled off the ship and into me that one fateful day at military camp." Satsuki said to Richard as the two exchanged fair wells and finally they all pinky swore on it before walking away in their own directions towards their own fates.

Well to reply to Wayne's comment about Lao. I really just barely scratched how fucked up Lao is mentally to be honest. Think of him as a crazed teenager war survivor whom is able to murder friends and family and or mentally screw with them just to justify his own existence and or 'pay them back by letting them live' just to let them suffer some more. I don't want to over blow Lao however as he is essentially a expy of Rau Le Cruset expect much more childish and where Rau is able to put up a good disguise for his madness Lao openly displays it in his doings which makes even his own soldiers afraid to serve under the man.

Well I 'fixed' my character for all that it's worth. The backstory is now pitiful and nowhere near as good as it originally was in fact I'd call it sub-par due to me not being able to reveal his backstory without flat out giving it away.
