After having only been in this town for a week and mostly by himself with the occasional check up made Jace Cadeus a very lonely individual indeed. Without anything to do but study he poured himself into studying. He was put in his third year class and was already starting to get adjusted into this whole Japanese jig. Whatever it was about this place...whatever it was about this town and the uniform he wore to school everyday...it was boring and it didn't fit an American born boy like him. Whatever life he had, by choice, left behind temporarily didn't phase him in the least it only served to remind him he didn't fully belong here and that his heart belonged in a different land. However cliche that sounded was pointless because to him it was the truth and the only truth. Besides after what happened a couple years back....could you really blame him? The accident wasn't pleasant for anyone and it had come so suddenly.

However after checking his clock and sighing to himself he couldn't help but note one specific thing...that this whole thing was reality and he would accept it. He wouldn't bash the Japanese life style and he wouldn't act home sick. He'd adjust and he'd adjust until he couldn't turn the knob on his life any further. Jace Caedus was not a quitter and he never would be. Looking at his TV he turned it onto the first few channels but nothing was really interesting on TV and the funny game shows would come on later. Whatever....TV sucked half the time anyways. Jace changed into his more comfortable clothes and decided he'd head down to the food court to grab a bite to eat while he was down there.

After getting some ramen and a small platter of french fries, mostly to bring home with him because ramen didn't mix well with french fries, he plopped himself down in a small corner and started to eat. As he eat his food he couldn't help but bring a small book with him known as The War of Thrones which detailed the story of a young soldier who was currently fighting for his life against an enemy kingdom after his dad died. It was an interesting book but it wasn't anything special to be completely honest. Come to think of it the book had been average up onto this point anyways and he had only kept reading to avoid studying more than he had.

Because Lu Bu wouldn't fit my guy personally. Lu Bu would belong to a much more angry person maybe a former gang leader of some sort.

I tried to go with a character who idolized heroes but never really was one himself. In such a way he can draw from their experience will still being mentally screwed a little bit enough to make it into the Tower Arcana area. After all the Tower Arcana is the 'heroes who fell from grace' sort of deal and it's hard to make that sort of thing without making my guy overtly dark per say in my opinion.

Personality:
Jace is a very calm and very down to earth person who is not prone to angry outbursts. However when pushed to his edge he can be extremely petty, and crude. His overly cautious nature leads him to not to take risks unless he has to. He has an air of authority around him made from his experiences and can when needed be somewhat persuasive and if needed he can hold a certain swagger to him even if it is normally superficial. He is very single minded and is very hard to push from his stance on things making him a very tough enemy in many situations but limits his ability to inspire loyalty from anyone. He is not afraid to boast, at least when it is brought up, about his impressive skill set which he is proud of. He can fight with his bare hands, and he was trained to fight with small swords by his father who's hobby was to fight in Renaissance fairs. He can be downright blood chilling when he is pissed off and some kids from back in his old school even complain about him giving them nightmares after particularly bad face offs. He is not fond of cursing but occasionally does it when something bad happens.

He is neither brave nor cowardly he is calm enough to pick and chose when he wants to fight. He hates people who don't keep their promises and normally finds ways to get even or close to it. He really has no interest in girlfriends finding girls today to be after his money or family connections. However he is no bi or homosexual he simply just distrusts the motives of the other sex. He can be bitter when double crossed and or lied to. He tends to keep his promises and hardly ever goes back on them his word is his code; he lives by it and he dies by it. He tends to chew people out if not in a deadpan sort of way when they do something stupid and tries not to make the same mistake when he gets into that situation. He is a caring to those who are actually close to him, and while not brutal man he is quick to be cold hearted and is quick to make up his mind about something.

With that being said he can be curious about certain things which can have both bad and good consequences however despite this when he feels he is in danger he tends to fall back into his cautious nature. He is also a rather big fan of dogs due to his father's time on the police force.

Background:
Born in a small back town in the United States he was raised by his father, a police officer, and never knew his mother. He often spent time with his grand parents due to his father's job as a police officer. As a baby he was not one to cry often and was often read to by his father and grand mother as a child. As such he grew to love reading and it would spark his interests in other cultures around the world. As a child he often marveled at the accomplishments of the far east generals of the past such as Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Yukimura Sanada, Tadakatsu Honda as well as many others. However his favorite was definitely the Greek heroes of the past. He was often taken around the city by his grand father who ex posited tales of heroes to the boy filling his idea with idealism.

He grew to be friends with a young girl named Sam and a boy named Ken whom were both neighbors of his grand parents and both were around his age. They didn't have much of a chance to really grow up together however as soon Jace's dad ended up taking him to California after he was promoted. His heartfelt goodbye to his friends and his grand parents was short and left an impact on the boy which would come back to haunt him. The trip to California was long and boring for the young boy and he read up on the tales of various heroes throughout history through books his grand father had given him before he had left. When he finally got there he was often forced into going to work with his father and when he couldn't he would be left in after school programs before his dad came to pick him up. His relationship with his father was rocky at best as they didn't exactly get along well but they both tried. His father even brought him to obstacle courses and showed him how to fight in self defense as he grew older. In fact his father's personal interest of sword fighting eventually ended up with him going to fairs with him and watching his dad fence with other people leading up to him learning how to do it as well in his teen years.

However in school Jace was often picked to be the leader of the groups due in part to no one wanting to be leader which led to fights in his groups due to Jace's only fair ability to organize things unlike his father. He was often geared to be a B+ student and only studied when he had to. He didn't get in fights often and he didn't have many friends and was often found reading the library instead of doing sports however by his dad's own push he ended up as co-captain of his team' baseball club which he disliked heavily. He learned to speak Japanese after finding some old books on the subject and having his dad's half Japanese friend teach him how to do it formally. Life wasn't hard for the boy in fact Jace learned to like his life as painful as it was at times and how awkward he could be with some people but he always stuck to his own beliefs and people labeled him as reliable if somewhat stubborn and he grew to like that. Eventually he started to write letters back and forth to his friends back home and to his grand parents. One day his grand father had a heart attack and nearly died prompting the boy to stay out of school for almost a whole week much to his dad's anger. His life started to take a turn for the worse after that day as his grand parents were soon put in a nursing home prompting him to start worrying if they were getting to old as his dad's work days intensified he was left alone in the house more and more. He even started to work on his baseball team more and more prompting his team to start to call him a try hard.

However the day that forever changed his life was the day his old friends came to visit him. The day was fun and filled with excitement for one and all but the day ended in tragedy as the night ended with young Ken getting in a car accident and Sam suffering severe burns to her arm saving him from a burning truck. Sam got off without much of a hitch however Ken was put in a wheel chair for the rest of his life which prompted Jace to be more and more cautious as his life from then on would be dictated from that point forward to make sure he didn't repeat the mistakes of his friend Ken. Eventually however his dad was put on an investigation team all the way up in Oregon but Jace refused to go and instead his dad's friend Michaeal Azai, the man who taught him Japanese, told him that he would set him up with a school over in his home town in Warakuma which Jace accepted hesitantly. He has only recently just arrived there.

Gunpla Build Fighters - Reach for the Stars!

It is the year 2019 and the world has progressed in various ways technologically, medically, and physically. Enter the world of Gunpla: The technological marvels of the current generations have allowed model makers of the plastic gundam suits to animate and fight it out with their models in contests to see who will win. This is the era of the third Gundam boom in which has seen the increase of many sales of the models and many more fans of the gundam series. Entire celebrity followings have been made to center around this phenomenon as much as sports and music. With the boom of gunpla in the late eighties and nineties along with the commercial success with gunpla the series has become a massive hit for all mecha fans everywhere.

Enter the national gunpla tournaments and franchise. Now of days you can use models built by yourself and others to fight with other people using the advanced plavsky particle machines to animate the pseudo mobile suits. Tournaments are abound everwhere from country to country and are even broadcasted on national tv and in the tournaments the ending is usually the National Finals where two of the best builders in the world take their place to become grand champinion of gunpla. However after seeing the market crave more variation than the usual from the tournaments of this they decided to add a new championship to the set. Adding to the current Intentional titles of: North American Championship, Pacific Championship, Asian Championship, Euro Championship, and North African Championship along with International Champion comes the first ever Tag Team Championship. Previously tag teams had not been recognized officially but with the increase of interest once more various companies including Bandai and the makers of the plavsky particle machines which make it all possible comes the International Team Championship. Now not only can friends join together in an attempt to gain the newly made championship (with the team being sponsored by someone) but strangers are allowed to enter a specially made randomizer which will give them a team in which will be formed to compete against another team in a bid to win a sponsor to enter the tournament. With the tournament being held around the world it is more than likely that contestants will need sponsors from some company or another otherwise they'd have to front the cost themselves. With the start of July comes the start of the tag tournament and where our story starts. Now is the time in which to reach for the stars and become one...

Rules:
1. All typical roleplay rules apply
2. Canon Gundam armor and systems doesn't matter in this along with special systems having little effect on the machine itself. Things like the berserk system won't have much effect outside of a small boost in one section or another. For example wing gundam can be beat by a Gyan, Devil Gundam can be beat by a mere Jegan, and melee based gundams are at a disadvantage against heavy ranged suits like the Quebley. Think carefully about which suit you want because these aren't the real suits just replicas. With that being said mobile armors are allowed but keep in mind not to overplay them.
3. You are allowed up to three mobile suits to use with one alternate in case your in story lose one of your suits. Suits can be rebuilt but it will take time and it takes longer depending on the skills of your gunpla making skills on your character.
4. We're all going to be on the same team but NPC characters can be controlled if you want to control a npc on another team please ask first.
5. Despite the lack of content shown above this is not a low casual roleplay and that should be kept in mind while making a CS AND posts.

When you post a interest check roleplay only for it not to get any hits then someone does the same series and gets over twenty hits up for the idea.

I also had one person come to the interest check say he was interested then fucking said he wasn't actually planning to join the roleplay. that ROYALLY pissed me off hard.
