Best Videogame Soundtrack

Personally there is no best but games like Gears, Payday, Halo, Dragon Age, Star Wars KOTOR, Crusader Kings (Though it can get grating after repetition), Dynasty Warriors, Fallout, Command and Conquer, Super Robot Wars, and Assassin's Creed tend to have good soundtracks.

Of course there's a lot of more but these are off the top of my head. The classics like Link and Mario still stand the test of time.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

I would say that too but even then the female warden who loves alistair may not be able to do similar choices that a male warden who willingly exiled his friend Alistair (stupid bugged game won't let you kill Loghain and keep Alistair unhardened) to gain the throne. The female warden may not have the same problem that a man with the lack of qualms that is my rogue human warden would have in dealing with the situation.

On a similar note let's talk about the dwarves....what do you thinks going to happen once either side gets on the throne late game. One is a tyrant who forces advancement while the other is prejudiced and stuck in the old ways while being 'honorable' about it,

Dragon Age: Inquisition

What about him saying that we should kill Loghain instead of turning him into a warden just to sacrifice him to the archdemon. That seems like a fair deal. it isn't giving him an honor it's giving him a death sentence without risking anyone else. The only way to do so otherwise is to force him to marry Anora and then have him leave the party. As for his hardened state maybe but I've never really given it much thought since I usually play the human male warden and marry Anora to keep her in check without worrying about Alistair's personal problems. Likewise I wonder how people are going to deal with Morgan if they DIDN'T make the ritual their thing and instead sacrificed Alistair or Loghain instead.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

He may not be able to make harder choices or be undesisive meaning he may end up losing territory or more lives in the process. Anora may not have the charisma needed to hold people together or piss off the collective amount of people. It comes down to the ruler being able to quickly, efficiently, and effectively hold off the enemies in the upcoming titles while holding onto the people's hearts as a charismatic leader. While an unhardened Alistair may be able to hold the throne via his charisma he may lose it without the help of a hero like Hawke or a future protagonist. And even then he may end up making bad choices based on his morality or anger.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

After what we saw in dragon age 2 I am extremely wary of Flemeth now. And possibly Morgan especially if she has the child with the soul of the old gods. My warden commander has enough influence on people in the land that if he needs to he can come back and stop any conflicts that may arise in Ferelden or Amaranthine. My Hawke can likewise help with the mage situation. However with that being noted there are a lot of variables that are unaccounted for and could lead to many problems especially if Anora is sitting on the throne alone or an unhardened Alister is.

Going with my playthough I have this situation:

Rogue Human Noble Warden married to Anora, Warden Commander, did the dark ritual, solved the problem between the wolves and the elves without killing either camp in mass, put the aeducan on the throne, sided with the mages (I think). He spared Amarathine and fully upgraded the keep. He stopped the harvester and didn't go with Morgan. Unhardened Alister, saved Arl Eamon's family, and was otherwise a pretty generous dude.

Though this is not my decided character my last character from Dragon Age 2 was a warrior whom sided with the mages and kept Fenris alive. He was practical above everything and didn't pull punches against everyone but Fenris didn't get his quest resolved and he didn't hand over anyone to the Arishok of the Quanari.

Morals and Videogames

I play within the game's meaning. If I'm playing Batman Arkham Origins my job is to kill the other people and if I can save my own team mates but at the end of the day my objective is to take out the bad guys or enemy gang and win the game. I'm not going to help my team stay alive when I can single handedly wipe out the enemy on my lonesome. Does that mean in real life I'd be so callous? Maybe depends on how much I like the guys I'm working with or how important they are in the grand scheme of things. That being said I love when a team can pull together and absolutely wreck house.

On Payday 2 it's a cuthroat ordeal. I'll help you if you help me and we'll all get out of there together. However if you do something stupid and I have to risk my own neck and the mission to help your ass then I'm more than likely going to let the cops cart you away. It's a matter of what is practical.

In Dragon Age Origins I play a character normally who is likewise practical like the previously mentioned. I will gladly help out anyone but not at the cost of harming my own team or the kingdom. I'm not going to help out the templars half the time in the second game because half of them are xenophobic and those who aren't I tend to help. That being said I'll still gladly take out my sword and put it in a mage's guts if he's going crazed. I took over the throne as a human noble warden so I can have a close hand in what the queen says and not just be 'warden commander' I am King Consort, Lord of Amarathine, slayer of the archdemon, and Commander of The Grey Wardens friend to the elves and dwarves alike. That kind of thinking is what made me constantly pick the little prick that backstabs you in the dwarf origin noble story for the guy stuck in his old ways so badly he'd do worse for the dwarves than the little prick. You can't go forward if you're looking backward less you trip or go extremely slowly.

In Left 4 Dead 2 I play it smart I pick my spots and I am not afraid of outright ditching teams if needed to win the round. But that's something I wouldn't do in real life unless there was no way of saving them. In real life I'd do all I can to help out my team because if they die that's one less gun helping me even if it's less food in my belly. I would prefer being hungry to not being safer any day.

In Borderlands 2 I'm not stingy with stuff unless it's stupidly rare and will be willing to give a weapon I don't need away. I'm going to help my team and I'm not going to ditch them because we work better together than we do alone. That's just common sense.

On the other hand I side with the imperials in skyrim while carrying and hording stuff for my own hubris like some sort of dragon.

In command and conquer I'd prefer not to lose men but winning the mission takes precedent and if I need to send a wave or two at the enemy then so be it. I'll do my best to find any other way around doing and my turtle style of play reflects that. Wait till I'm the strongest then come out and go all in or nothing.

I'm sure you're seeing a pattern here. I'm a guy who prefers practicality over flair. I'm a guy who prefers survival to team spirit unless it benefits me otherwise. I'm the guy who looks at the grand scheme of things and makes what I believe is the best possible choice for victory in the end. And I'd say in that regard my play style in games reflect who I am despite the fact there are some things I do in games I'd never even consider doing in real life. Like selling people as slaves, murdering towns of completely innocent people, brutally gunning down someone for their shoes, etc.

Question to all Chinese/British/Americans/French/Russians/Israelis/Indians/Pakistanis

The only reasonable reason to use nuclear weapons is if they are using them or that we're going to be overrun on the homeland here in America without any chance of victory. We wouldn't bomb them unless it would save thousands if not millions of more lifes, we can't fight back at all, or we want to assured mutually assured destruction. Still an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

Zombie-pocalypse Teams

That's not any fun at all dude why don't I just throw Darkseid, Thanos, and The Living Tribunal in a team and just blow up the multiverse or entire galaxies?

The Otaku Lounge

Ah well in my college not many people know about the series so I tend not to know what is popular and what is not exactly.

Hajime no Ippo is an anime about a young fisherman boy who was picked on as a kid and was to weak to defend himself. One day by chance he happened to be in the way of champion class boxer Takamura on his morning jog. Ippo was being bullied and he was saved from the bullies by Takamura after he easily dodged the bullies punches but he also while doing so ripped off their coat buttons without noticing. Seeing that display Ippo decided that he would become a boxer like Takumura despite only being heavy enough for the Featherweight class. The anime follows his boxing adventures and the manga is still running today I believe since it started in the nineties. It is an anime I would recommend to nearly anyone. I won't say much more because I don't want to spoil the series.

Sekirei is an echhi anime with action except the ecchi gets either played up for comedy or is toned down later in the series. It follows a young boy named Minato who had just flunked out of his college entrance exam. By chance he runs into a girl named Musubi, whom is one of the one hundred some sekirei currently competing in the competition but she has yet to find a ashikabi (a master or lover) to fight for. After saving her life and standing up for her despite her hunters being winged sekirei and having electricity powers Minato kisses and by doing so winging Musubi (winging is done by a human with ashikabi genes kissing and causing the unlocking of the powers of the sekirei willing or not). Musubi saves the day and becomes Minato's first sekirei and promises they will win the competition so that they may stay together forever.

It's not an anime I'd recommend to anyone like Ippo but it's a good anime as long as you can ignore the fan service.

As for Mobile Suit Gundam it's an amazing series and most anyone can get into it in someway or another if you even have a passing interest in mechs. Super robots fans can see G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing while cliched and flawed at times is still one of Cartoon Networks most watched shows from back in the day and ranked just below Evangelion in Japanese polls back in the day, Gundam OO is a solid watch for a person wanting a mix of super and real robot action, Gundam's OVA's are all good watches, and shows like Gundam X and Turn A while lesser than the others are watchable. For anyone who wants a more light hearted take rather than war can see either of the gunpla based animes. And of course you can almost never go wrong with the original gundam series especially ones featuring Amuro Ray and his iconic rival Char Aznable. And you weren't wrong about gundam but not many people in the states know about it per say unless they're into anime while Japan has made a life size model of the RX- 78 Gundam (the original) and Char Aznable has reached Darth Vader status in Japan and he has numerous clones in not only gundam but in many anime and games alike so much you can look towards the Char Clone trope on TV Tropes.
