Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

The world is a dangerous place filled with criminals, thugs, extremists, terrorists, and many other things. Some people try to help the world for better or for worse. The city known as Gotham is no different. The Wayne Corporation headed by the aging Thomas Wayne has set a standard up to help the people of the city in as many ways as possible. From supplying the homeless children with food and shelter in the form of orphanages and schools to encouraging the development of new policies in the police force. Wayne's corporation has set a precedent and standard, aside from the company known as Lex Corp, of being the world's top manufacturer of top of the line electronics and other machinery.

However for all of Wayne's goodness and his son's ingenuity the world of Gotham has a dark underbelly that scares even the most hardened of heroes. Rape, drugs, mobs, robbery, arson, hitmen and more can be found in the world of Gotham's infamous Crime Alley. The whole city while brightly lit is the world's foremost sign of decay and corruption. Cops let off mob bosses for money and even look aside from murders. They allow drugs, alcohol, and weapons to be sold to anyone even children if the price is right. There are no moral standards in Gotham despite what the Waynes would like to believe.

Crime is a common occurrence in Gotham a disgusting but true fact that shames the once proud city. With the city's people suffering so greatly at the hands of corrupted law enforcement and the crime syndicates it is inevitable someone or something would come along to try and control or stop this incessant city of death and destruction. In many worlds there is some form of Batman. But for this unlucky timeline Bruce Wayne and Thomas Wayne don't pick up the cowl. There are no heroes in Gotham besides a couple of police officers who hold true to the ways of justice. Picking off from when Batman year one should have started is our story.

Brought together by a mysterious person who is called 'The Caliph of Gotham' a group of people are assembled with a unique set of skills needed to put down these crime bosses either for good or to put them away in prison. To kill or to capture. To slaughter or to protect. The Caliph himself simply doesn't care how it's done simply that it is done and that's why he's recruiting an anonymous group of people from all sorts of backgrounds to stop Falcone, to stop Penguin, and to stop Blackmask. All of these men, women, and children are in our hands for the good of Gotham you are being called upon to stop them. The only question is this: Do you accept the email/text sent to you by the man of mystery? Or do you reject it and let Gotham burn? This roleplay will be for those who have accepted the call to action.

Rules:
1. Basic roleplay rules apply being god modding, meta gaming, etc are banned. Likewise RPG's general rules apply that should go without saying.
2. We are only going to be playing as humans. No aliens. Period. Meta humans with actual super powers are likewise impeded. Abilities such as night vision are allowed where as air, water, wind control as well as shape shifting (makes things too easy) etc are barred. Simple super powers are the only things allowed such as the above mentioned night vision, body temperature control, immunity to lethal poisons, etc.
3. This roleplay is standard casual not low. I myself am a high casual player and as such I will be firm in my choices as GM. You can question my choices but what I say at the end of the day goes in this roleplay
4. You need a reason to be in this roleplay. While we are normal humans it goes without saying that a group like this should be able to handle their own. But you need reasons for having your strengths and your weaknesses should be actual weaknesses not all personality flaws.
5. Canon characters are difficult to play with but I will allow them within reason for this roleplay. Remember Greyson, Todd, and Tim are still children if not infants.
6. This will be a secretive group of characters remember of you reveal your identity to someone in roleplay beware of the consequences that may follow.

I am calm. If I was angry I would have already just said 'screw it, I'm out of this roleplay I'm no longer interested in playing Gerald will go off and do whatever he will and possibly die in some random ditch somewhere.' as it is I'm indifferent to this roleplay.
The Grey Wardens for all their notability and skill are making progress in the deep roads but still can't stop the darkspawn entirely even with the help of the dwarves. The roads are not all mapped and tunnels are filled with more dangers than you can shake a stick at. You guys like being underground so be it that's in character. Gerald sees this as utterly stupid because anyone of us could get infected with the taint and die. Plus the dark spawn may be gone but their traps may not be along with red lyrium a thing that drove the templars, whom Gerald had known as stalwart in Kirkwall, to madness. Why take the risk of running into two of the most lethal things in the area just for the sake of a short cut.

Maybe they do find stuff of value...and they need to lug it around with them in the deep roads ontop of all the dangers down there. Power and numbers doesn't always win. Gerald is only going down there because he agreed to work with the group otherwise he'd say fuck it have fun running into darkspawn and getting infected you insane group of twats.

At the end of the day Gerald is out numbered in opinion and we're going down there to Starkhaven that's a given. What comes of it may prove him right or wrong or neither. So let's please drop why I'm siding with Gerald as I don't want to have to explain to everyone WHY he's thinking the way he is anymore because there is no point in trying to do so.
@GenniIt isn't about what's fun so much as what our characters do logically. In my recent pokemon DnD session four people jumped down a hole while only one other person said 'fuck that' because of the noise coming from it. They got extra stuff at the expense of getting turned into a evil man's pawns. We got none of that stuff yet we're still safe. They also got their butts handed to them on a silver platter due to the power difference.
Alright it's been fourteen days now two weeks. Two more days and I'll close down this roleplay if no one posts. I'm giving everyone the chance now to say 'I want out' officially.
It's really just us two and the other guy.
Isabelle worked alongside Jiro as he caught up to her, not hard seeing as she was in a dress, and she looked up to him. "You're an ass you know that boss!?" Isabelle said still pouting about how Jiro had basically thrown her to the wolves. Her pride hurt and feeling a bit silly she walked as briskly as possible in order to get back to the inn where Zaku undoubtedly was located at. Isabelle couldn't even think of Zaku being anywhere else but the inn quite frankly. Where the hell would he go otherwise? To the arena to bet? Without Jiro at his side Zaku wouldn't risk it. Not because Zaku couldn't handle his own but because Jiro would keep him out of fights that would prove stupid to enter for various reasons.

Jiro merely yawned as he listened to his young ward grumble at him and told her to stick a sock in it. Really he loved Isabelle as much as he would any great friend but sometimes she was as annoying as a block of wood being slammed against your face. Jiro couldn't help but think of the two friends of his as good friends at the very least. They'd been together for years now and been through a lot. True comrades in arms. He just hoped the other members of the group could hold up with the two of his little buddies. "So what do you think of the other people Isabelle? Think they can keep up with us?" Jiro asked as Isabelle frowned and put a finger to her lips. "I don't know really. Silk seems smart, Matthew is a ass, the jerk with the armor left Zaku with a mess, Zack is a nice guy but he doesn't seem too good with a spear, and the others I don't know about." Isabelle said shrugging as Jiro nodded. "What about you?" Isabelle questioned as Jiro gave a non committed shrug.
