Yeah that's happened to me in a few games. In other games I draw Destiny board and watch as the AI feeble attempts to kill me in five turns as the board spells out final. The deck I'm currently rocking with in game is a primarily Rock based game based around special summons, and effect cards. Optimally I can summon three monsters in one turn (play, special summon, Ritual) and it has happened. Fall back plan is Millennium Scorpion and the 'FEED ME MORE SEYMOUR!' plan that revolves devouring all his monster cards.

Let's Discuss our Standards.

As a Gm:

I expect some thought to be put into the character and how he or she has been developed. I may be able to post a sheet of ridiculous size for a casual player in only a handful of hours if that but others don't have that level of skill or time on their hands. So to that end all I ask from my players is this: Have a character that's able to fit into the roleplay that isn't some poor cliche character and isn't a complete loner. Likewise posting requirements reflect my ideas about a couple paragraphs for the CS while in IC posting can vary but I like to see at the very least a paragraph and a half.

As a player:

As a player I only join roleplays where I can work together with the GM to form a coherent character that will fit into the roleplay. Likewise I don't want to be talked down to like a noob. I don't mind someone pointing out mistakes but when people start questioning how I post (long paragraphs and the like) that's when I start to get a bit annoyed. I will space things out if you ask me too and even shorten my posts or lengthen them. But do I REALLY need to explain to someone how my character isn't screaming when there is not a single exclamation point in the entire post? Likewise I want other players to follow the rules and don't try to shove themselves into the main character spot unless they are the current focal point in the roleplay. Someone dogging for the role as 'protagonist or main character' are people who don't understand other people don't join a roleplay to become a side character normally. The player characters should all get equal attention unless someone is specifically meant to be the center of attention in roleplay at the point in time.

The guard knocked on the door to the meeting room and said that Lieutenant Jameson was here to see them. Jason sighed and told the guard to let him in. The man nodded at the lieutenant and let him in. Inside the room were just Paul and Jason by themselves. "Liuetenant Jameson is there something you need of me? No one showed up so we went on without you all. For the record Gabriel is indeed MIA and believed to be KIA. We have also given permission to the pilot who appeared in the battle to join our group. Her name is Hiling Care and we can confirm she is a member of a group called The A-Laws. Whatever they are they seem to be opposed to Celestial Being. Hiling wasn't too forth coming with information. That is all that happened so unless there is something else you wish to ask Paul and I were going too leave soon. I have to get back to the bridge so I can speak to Mariemaia and Paul is gong to bed. It's late and it will be a bit before we get back to Mariemaia's base." Jason simply informed the pilot as he sat back down and looked over towards Jack with indifference.

He looked around at his students once more before getting up and going over to the waitress personally to ask for the check. He pulled out his wallet from his jacket's pocket and paid with a fist full of dollars telling her to keep the change before walking back over to the group and waited for responses and or thank yous before telling them to have fun and get ready to work their butts off tomorrow at the forest around 10:00 AM for training with sensei before getting up and leaving promptly without fan fare. Kuro didn't stick around either having finished most of his food he got up and left his group without saying much of anything only saying a prompt goodbye ignoring any further words towards him and followed their sensei out the door to the Uchiha Compound.
