Paul sighed and wondered how much long this guy would continue on with such nonsensical BS. He was the only person here sprouting nonsense about wars that the others have no clue about. Paul was starting to wonder if this man was a spy. "I'm sure the men outside told you the man is out of his blasted mind captain." Paul stated as Jason nodded and listened to every word the man said intently. Jason remained silent for some time afterward but he didn't ignore any of the words said by the others if any were said either. He looked at Gabriel and smiled, "Interesting so your people are none like our own it seems? War is a dreadful business as I'm sure you know and I know that fact first hand." Jason replied but he didn't agree with Mr. Cross just yet. "Here's my theory one or more of us are under the influence of indoctrination. Given fake memories and such as if to cause confusion in an attempt to have friend fight friend. So is it not likely that some or more of us in this very room are enemies disguised as allies? Ponder that for a moment." Jason commented before waiting for a brief moment for everyone do to so. "On the other hand parallel universes sounds extremely far fetched to be considering the facts. I believe my first theory is far more likely and that this is some hellish nightmare." Jason said plainly as he twirled around in this chair. "But that could also be taken as a false theory in itself. We're in one hell of a bind though so anything would be welcome. We could be on Earth. I doubt it but it could be Earth, or we could be on some sort of space fairing colony of sorts, which I think is more so doubtful than the former. So what do the rest of you think of all this?" Jason asked as Paul sat down heavily in a seat, "Sir I BELIEVE that you are letting this get to your head with all due respect. I have little to no doubt that we're indoctrinated as I doubt the time I've spent with my loved ones...and my mortal enemies....are all those memories false? I would doubt so and who would put me in a gundam or a suit with similar performance because that machine I pilot still ranks high up in the performance scale when I looked at the statistics when I was still piloting it." Paul said with frustration in his voice.

yes well I haven't played the Tales games in their entirety this is based of Vesperia itself not the other games. I'll allow you to have magic that augments your weapons as a warrior but that's it. I'll allow fire ball and some low level magic spells to be fair about it but I will not allow both magic and physical powess on a singular character like some sort of battle mage. How I intend on doing this is to separate both melee and range classes. For example so far I've seen Raven use his wind artes to enhance his knife wielding and bow attacks while Yuri has used his artes purely to augment his melee weapons with some fairly strong range attacks. Judith has yet to show much magical power at all using her blastia to simply augment her normal attacks allowing for more acrobatic and powerful combos. This somewhat is similar to Karol as well. However Rita has so far used weapons and other sorts of books to augment her magical abilities while Estelle.

So more or less you can pick either be a mage and focus on your magical prowess and use that sword only as either a focus and a last ditch battle attempt or go full warrior and only use artes to add a bit of flames and etc that allow you to do some elemental damage. By a roleplay standpoint I don't see how this is unfair seeing as I have literal no magical powers on my guy and his artes only rank in a stunning punch and demon fang.

Ok then but as far as the character goes is she a mage or a warrior? Because as a warrior she wouldn't be able to go much further into the mage tree so to speak. I'll make the IC later today or tomorrow.

Only if it is important to the character and or the cat will be an NPC who will be helping us in fights like Yuri's dog (can't spell his name)

"So what was that about?" Brandon asked his sekirei as she stood there looking like she was about to murder something with violent, malicious, and great contempt. He felt like he was in the presence of a mother bear who lost her cubs to a hunter and she finally caught up to him. But hey he barely knew the girl so what could he possibly know what she was feeling. Brandon sat down next to her hesitantly but from what he knew of this Izumi she wasn't about to break down in rage. She stayed calm and cut down a girl whom was able to control fire after all. Izumi looked at him, with contempt still on her face, and she sighed deeply before talking, "Something you need not concern yourself about Brandon just remember that he is not a good man." Izumi stated as Brandon nodded his head in agreement. He had never thought of the man as someone who would be considered a scumbag for lack of a better word. He never really found interest in the guy as he was always considered a bit eccentric if not harmless at the very least. He wrapped his arm around Izumi and leaned over to her, "I can see that no sane guy just comes on TV and proclaims a bloody battle royal in the middle of god damn Tokyo it isn't exactly a normal thing around here." Brandon stated sarcastically which Izumi chuckled at, "I would hope not because it would be a massive pain to deal with. But while we're here we may as well see about finding comrades...it seems that the good 'King' seems to want to jumble up everyone else's plans....or bring the walls down on stronger sekirei because they could be saddled with much weaker ones or younger ones. It brings an unwanted various dynamics and I hope that we can find some that don't bring us down in the hole so to speak. But free medical bills will be a big addition to any party...the ashikabi and sekirei can go to a hospital for them specifically made in the HQ of HMTAI but it still costs them some small fee...besides I wouldn't trust them of all people with my or your body Brandon. Only go to them if we have no other choice." Izumi stated before getting up and walking out to look over the balcony in the back of the apartment.
