Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

Hey Art they don't call them innovators in the cosmic era nor would there be any info linking coordinators to newtypes anyway.
Jason nodded simply to the first admission the man gave him because while he didn't tell them Jason had his techs downstairs prepare to diagnose the machines downstairs to give him a sort of...advantage of sorts over them and while he had not yet gotten back information from them he was sure that the crew was working hard on it. He appreciated the man's sentiment but wondered if this was all a part of some sort of plan per say. Jason wasn't stupid he didn't really trust these strangers in this strange place that he had just met literal a dozen minutes or more ago. It'd be pathetic for a man of his ranking and experience to fall prey to such a elementary level ploy. If you ran a ship of this caliber with this many soldiers on board the ship and didn't take cautionary steps than you were a dead man. Jason halted the man when he spoke about war and raised a finger, "That's where your wrong. War is a physical means to an end as political maneuvering is the mental game. War without reason is a massacre and a waste of lives. But enough on philosophical nonsense please continue..." Jason said and when he was called an old man he gave a slight shrug as if to say 'hey it's true but I don't like it any more than you do." But Jason didn't speak in the end he just implied it. "Very well then...if I must be given charge of such a large weapon I suppose I will do so. I don't like having those calls in my hand but something's....something's are required for progress unfortunately." Jason quietly accepted his appointed duty as captain with as much gravitas as he could but in the end....it always came down to some new fangled weapon. When the subject changed to the lieutenant he was surprised he was expecting something of him or his mobile suits not of his personal second in command. "Yes Paul is classified as a newtype and is the official reason why he pilots the gundam and not per say the company leader of Beta Squad, a man of thirty two years of which he has twelve years of experience and is a multi-ace from wars past. How you know that is unknown to me...unless you newtypes have a secret handshake that spreads across the multiverse which apparently you claim to be from."[/b] Jason said as he suddenly became more suspicious of this man. He'd have to confirm this with Paul later....if this was not mutual....he'd have this group put in the brig for being spies. One slip up was all that was needed for Jason to pounce on. "I'm afraid that you don't understand however is that certain other more....basic qualities are frowned upon in my organization and in politics and by the public eye as well that are rather unfair. qualities that come from birth. Coordinators...perhaps you may fight one later and find out for yourself...is it better to be true and blue like some believe Earth should be or....or perhaps it should be altered at it's core. If you think being a lab rat is bad wait to you find out what people think of humanity's coordinators." Jason replied as he let the man continue and stopped him dead straight as he started to laugh at the suggestion of Paul of all people, his young Blackstar, being open to any sort of training from an outside source. "You CLEARLY don't understand Blackstar's personality or feelings. He wouldn't take anything from you unless he requested it himself. His comrades fear and respect him because of his abilities and sheer skill and each has a battle forged bond with him. I'd be a fool to request that of him without him knowing who you are. If you want to 'teach him' you got to earn his trust and friendship...something his heart needs to accept and after his experiences will not let him do. If you want go ahead and see how he fights if it helps. If you want more you have to earn it in his eyes or mine...or perhaps someone even more dear to him than me." Jason commented as he quickly discarded the idea. Lacus wasn't here and she certainly would be able to open Paul's heart to something but what that is, is to be seen at sometime in the future.

"Of course I just....uhh....I believe it's down this way.....do you need a moment to talk to each other first? I'm sorry if I'm interrupting the conversation but I just want to be sure that you don't get lost on the ship. Not that I'll be much help being new here myself. I'm fresh out of ANOTHER ship after all!" the girl said as she shook her head and smiled at them as if trying to convince herself that she was doing a good job showing them around before she even got started. "Sorry it's just I'm nervous around new people is all. I'll just be quite now...." she said slinking back to the corner of the hallway.
Carn laughed hard at the man's question, could he fight? COULD HE FIGHT? What did this buffoon take him for? He didn't spend over four years training with one of the deadliest warriors in Grado to stand around and die. But the laugh hurt him because of his back wound and he was in no shape to truly go all out unless he got healed. "I can fight all right I could probably take this whole crew by myself or at least bring a chunk of them down with me but I took a sword to the back. I need some elixir of some sort or if possible a stave of healing and quick." Carn replied simply as he wondered about the situation at hand looking across the courtyard quickly he turned back to the man. "As soon as you get either of those I should be able to protect your back just fine. Otherwise I hope your fine with a one armed myrmidon guarding you." Carn finished as he wiped the blood off his iron sword on the nearby corpse of a man then spit on it. "Dastardly spies....this had to be a set up...my mentor taught me that large ambushes, or in this case raids, didn't succeed without someone inside or without being thought out extremely well. He may have been a drunken swine but I'm sure he'd call this situation matches that description..." Carn added quickly gripping the hilt of his blade tightly to ignore the pain coursing down his torso.
Carn's not good with the 'taking alive thing' he was taught to 'bury the axehead in the bastard's head' so to speak or in his case sword tip.
I moved to Janten because he's the most logical choice for Carn to be near at the moment. I intended to go to the other guy but he's not in a place near Carn who was patrolling around the castle perimeter.
That was a bit much but I didn't want to immediately jumped in so I more or less added an archer or two to keep him busy for a couple of seconds before he did anything.
Carn ran as fast as he could down the halls and down to the battle where his young employers were located at, or at least one of them as it seemed. But before he did so he had to make sure they didn't get pegged by a group of archers whom had come down from a nearby area and held themselves on a balcony. Carn retraced his steps and was pleased his speed was as good as ever. He quickly climbed the steps and rolled as the archer shot at him but missed horridly. Carn's response was brief and deadly. A blade to the neck ended the man's possible spree and his friend pulled out a knife and cut him across the chest only to be countered hard as Carn pulled his sword back and cut the man through the chest. It was a glancing blow but it hurt and Carn silenced the man once and for all by kicking his legs out from underneath him and stabbing him through the neck. The neck was such an easy place to strike. "Know fear as whatever god you worship takes you to your hell." Carn said plainly pulling out his sword he jumped down the balcony landing hard but managed to recover. I might not make it! Carn thought as he ran ignoring any competitors who challenged him due to the quick response from his allied forces. As suddenly as the young prince turned to deal with a mage he left himself wide open to an attack as a mercenary tried to cleave him from behind...but he never even got half way through before Carn ran him through killing him instantly with a blade through the chest. He didn't pull out the iron blade instead he took a sword to the back and jabbed the sharp point of his elbow into the man's chest. "Damn that stings like a bitch....damn you!" Carn said as he faked out the man and let a nearby soldier lance him through the lung allowing Carn to grab the mercenary's sword and decapitate the dastard. Coughing Carn went over to the felled enemy and pulled out his sword from the man's corpse. "Damn that's going to scar if I don't get a cleric....hey Prince Janten you ok? I swear to god if I took this for nothing..." Carn said silently to himself as he touched his wound. It wasn't deep and the cloth could be repaired. Leather armor had it's uses even if it was the cheapest thing out there...
