devaronian is the race you're looking for. They're basically thugs for the hutts for the most part.

Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio
I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.
If you're working with more mechanical, and or materials not strictly from that of formerly living creatures than I believe so. Unless you're somehow creating the meat, and such from magic.
What do you mean by potency exactly? Power I would assume? My aim was to have the characters primarily around 60-95 not quite all the level 100's of the main cast of overlord.
I think it would be best if he had assistance from the builders and made his own area/workshop outside of the main castle if he needs to use actual living creatures for his work. In other words they just have him do his business outside of the main halls just so he doesn't cause rabble among the common soldiers that staff the castle. You say non-organics but necromancers typically experiment on actual living dead. A mechanic class would be more suitable otherwise.
You can do that it would depend on how far you take it though. The real game has nothing against it but in meta rp the place of arce bellum (The main fortress of this rp) would have little to no places to practice the arts as it was more toned focused towards light clerics, and warriors.
overlordmaruyama.wikia.com/wiki/Overl… ==== In the year 2126, a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or DMMORPG called Yggdrasil was released. It stands out among all other DMMORPG's due to its unusually high ability for the player to interact with the game. After an intense 12-year run the game servers are about to be shut down. Within the game exists a guild, The De Ordine Imperii (or Empire of Order to those outside of the group), once consisting of numerous members and credited as one of the longest lasting guilds in the game. Now only a of the members remain, the others have left the game, or unable to return for the game's ending for one reason or another. Of those members only a handful remain in time to say goodbye to the game that they have devoted so much time to. In order to celebrate their long lasting friendship, and their openness to other players they have hosted an open guild party for the remaining players who wish to participate in the final hours of the guild. Their guild hall known as Grand Arce Bellum. A grand white marble palace that few have conquered. Boasting renown warriors and talented clerics the guild was not renown as a 10 ten guild but a long lasting one as it had started almost shortly after the guild system was first introduced officially.
When the shut-down time arrives however, it would appear that the people have not logged out...Instead it appears as if Yggdrasil has been recreated as its own reality along with its various NPCs having been brought to life while the group at the party have been trapped in the form of their game avatars, leaving him unable to use the normal player functions, such as General Message, or even to log out. With no other option, the new Empire of Order prepares to find out what has happened...and if they can return to their new world. The world has become much more interesting than it use to be...
The guild known as The Empire of Order is traditionally meant to be a guild of humanoids though it was founded by an undead, a dwarf, and a human. The head guild mates were Almighty Greybeard (Dwarf), BorntobeBad (The Undead), and Doux (The Human). The guild was known to be relatively friendly, and heavily based on PVE style combat however a subsection was dedicated to PVP as well. Boasting a sizable wealth, and strong members they steady fastly held onto higher status among guilds though not known to be in the top ten for anymore than a few weeks at a time. Before the shutdown the last guild master also sometimes referred to as the Basileus, or Emperor at times was MaxedUltra who was an old friend of Greybeard before his departure. The common class among the guild mates were Templars, Clerics, Monks, and Paladins. Fighters, Champions, and other warriors were known to be a part of team comps as well. There were only a handful of pure magical users in the group.
==== Rules:
1. All basic roleplay rules apply modding, meta gaming, and even god modding in this setting are restricted.
2. For whatever reason I reserve the right to not allow something into this roleplay. For better or worse I may reject something outright as right of gm.
3. I will be limiting the people who can be max level off the bat. Why? Because while Overlord is all about a power scale discrepancy between Momonga, and others that sort of thing is ill fit for a roleplay. If everyone is overpowered then how do I, as GM, stimulate an adventure where we can't just walk into a kingdom and destroy everything they have with our pinky fingers. You may be a high level but at a point I will be asking people to lower themselves down in order to make am more diverse cast. Manga creators can reign in their characters to make them fit the story I can't force your characters actions in roleplay unless it hinders the plot/story.
4. World level items, and such are restricted on a case by case basis. You may ask to have one prior to the rp but I will apply rule 2 as I see fit.
5. Players who are missing for a week without notification will have their player characters killed. I will not tolerate a dead halt in the roleplay.
6. While I will be gm I will be expecting players to make up their own adventures as well. If you don't wish to go with the main group you may make a side story elsewhere. However if it is to have a long lasting connection to an overall plot please include myself in planning it. Keep in mind that does not mean I will force events to happen around you sticking to the main group, or role assignment in character is recommended.
7. While traditionally a humanoid guild Empire of Order will be allowing non humans into the guild hall before then. The NPCs won't respect non humans but they won't attack you on sight as per orders of the other 'high beings' in short you may be undead, or a lizardman if you so desire. Can you earn their respect? Of course some may be willing others are staunchly written as too thick headed. It depends on the approach demanding respect, or demeaning the npc's will likely result in them attacking you if you're non-humanoid. Pride, duty, respect, and cunning are what these npc's usually respect.
8. The character sheets will be heavy in terms of building due to the style of the roleplay. Meaning BIG Cs's. I'll leave the old skeleton below to give you an idea. You don't need to stack all your abilities at once you can come up with more as you go just ask me about them before editting the CS's.
9. Another note relating to the seventh rule: Npc's are heavily biased. They aren't going to fawn over anyone who isn't a high ranking, or long reigning member of the aforementioned guild. In fact they may very well be heavily disrespectful to undead outsiders because they were all programmed to practically worship 'humanity'. They revere humans, and humanoid people like elves because that's what the heavy roleplaying guild founders wanted them to do. They will still refer to you as a higher being, and give a grudging acceptance to say a lizard man but they will probably do so sarcastically. Think of non humans/outsider guild members as jews were treated in the middle ages. Treated with Disdain because they are strange, foreign outsiders.

A quick disclaimer: Why did the previous rp die? Lack of activity. Two players posted one of which was at a castle scenario I hadn't planned for, and the other was pondering if they were going to stay. The other two flat out quit posting when they only needed to answer the simple question of: "Will you let the overgrown lawful good tank stomp out the npc's".
"Why is your character slated to be Emperor/Basileus?" Because as GM I need to have control over what is happening. Do you have a better idea for a long running member of the order who can properly lead a group of sociopathic roman warriors while promptly keeping the other player characters in line? Well you're free to submit the idea so go ahead if you really want to be the pseudo figure head.
The train came too a quick stop as the duo of Saber Mordred, and her Master Leon grabbed the stuff they brought with them, and prepared to head out. Saber walked with a confident swagger as she stepped out of the train and grinned. "Been looking forward to getting to work...its really cool how different modern cities are, and how different things were from where I came from." Mordred told Leon as he nodded. He checked his phone and received next to no orders from the mage's association, or the church. He was hoping they'd receive directions. "Well where are we goin'? I want to get to work soon." Saber grumbled further when Leon failed to respond. Leon shrugged, and looked around at the train station. "You want to go get some snack foods? We can patrol around while we wait for either trouble, or the church to contact us. You said you wanted to go see some sights while we're our right? Lets do it. Not sure whats around Hyeres but I'm sure there's something." Leon said as Saber brightened up once more and nodded. "Alright sounds like a plan! Well what are you waiting for let's go!" Saber said grabbing Leon's arm, and tugging him along towards the city. Leon wondered where they'd go to eat...More over he barely knew any french lucky he had a translation book, and app in his phone.
