Hey, not sure if this is the right palce to post htis, but lately I have been hooked back into the Star Wars universe so I was wondering if there's still any place left in this RP? (though, I will say beforehand htat I'll be busy for a couple of days, so might not have a CS ready the same day)

Oh there is plenty of room left in this RP. Look on the third post on the first page to see sheets and what characters/units are still available for application. It is okay if you are busy, it'll be a few days before we get started.
Uh... Hi?

Yay, I put it in the character section.

Roster is updated. I'll put the other accepted sheets on the roster as they are posted in the character section.

*EDIT
SO I think I'm going to restructure the Navy a little bit. We will use the Venators as our Naval "Battalions" and since the 417th Navy is our naval "Regiment" it can have four Battalions. Meaning four Venators. The Acclamator Cruisers will function similar to player companies for infantry. There will be 8 available Acclamator slots, or seven since @bluetommy2 has an accepted Acclamator. Consular ships are no longer available for applications.

Now for the Artillery/Armored regiment. We will now be calling this the 417th Armored Division. Regiment is now an infantry only term, the 417th Navy is the Naval Regiment and the 417th Armored Division is the artillery/armored regiment. The Armored Division is all Republic vehicles and artillery pieces that do not have to do with Naval combat. This includes AT-TE's TX-130 tanks, LAAT gunships, walkers, and whatever other non naval vehicles the Republic used in the Clone Wars. Naval vehicles are the large battleships like the Venator and the Acclamator as well as fighters such as the Z-95.

@Vandy can I point out that it is highly unlikely for a prototr of a ship to exist four years before it's major production. It was really just the use of an old design when things started to look like they'd turn to war. But then again you're the GM :P.

In terms of arty, I will answer that when I get onto my laptop.

Well I'm not sure it was exactly four years before production. It's not like the Republic designed and produced all of the Venators in the three weeks since Geonosis. You could be right though, maybe it was a "precursor" ship that the Venators were based on.

@The Survivor @The Scotsman @bluetommy2 @Shard All of your sheets have been accepted. Go ahead and move them over to the character section and I will update the roster when I can.
@Vandy

Can I just have a bunch of AT-TEs and/or AV-7s.

If there's room for another infantry battalion I'll take that up instead if possible.

You can absolutely have a bunch of AT-Te's and Av-7s. You might want to throw in some TX-130's too.

If you want to be infantry that's fine too. We can have up to eight infantry Battalions, we have mine for sure and then two more that have been applied for.

Well that's it for tonight guys, I'm going to sleep.

@VandyI'm thinking of making the Arty/Armor division. I've done some reading up on the wiki but I was wondering if you could give me some more info on them.

There actually isn't that much information on the artillery of the Clone Army. Here are some links to different weapons and stuff. Not sure how much help they will be. Honestly if I were you I'd just base it off of real world artillery units in the American/British armies and make it more Sci-Fi. I do Know that the weapons could be stopped by certain energy shield that the enemy deployed. (Like on Christophsis. Probably butchered that spelling.)

They also seemed to have some sort of roles that each clone played. If you watch Attack of the Clones you can see a Commander and a Captain holding binoculars and pointing out where to fire. (They aren't called binoculars but I don't want to search the wiki for that right now) You can also see a few clones sitting on the inside of some artillery units. I assume some were firing control, altitude, reloading etc.

In a few of the Clone Wars episodes they have two clones sitting on either side of an artillery piece. If I were to guess I would say one was doing the aiming and firing while the other was reloading. In Star Wars Battlefront 2 (The good one) tanks and such were often manned by two soldiers. One drove and controlled the main cannons while the other was a sort of laser gunner on top. Think a machine gun turret on a WWII tank.

Hope that helps. I'll see if I can find more for you. Maybe @Sep knows more?

In other news, this is what I'm working on. Thoughts?
