Miles followed the guard while thinking in his head "...Hmmm, reward? A bigger bed would be nice. Mmhm sleep. I love me some sleep..." As they reached Vlad's office, Miles heard someone shouting. As it turned out it was Vlad was the one yelling to a poor guard. "Just leave the man alone..." he thought to himself while stopping to greet the professor.

As soon as Ray laid eyes on Kura, he started laughing, making everyone in the cafeteria look at him, confused as to why he was laughing. "Good morning there sleeping mustache man" he said to Kura as he was sitting on the table. "How did you erase that marker? I'm pretty sure it was permanent" he said and laughed again.

"...do i really have to do all these?" he said lazily. "I just got up from bed and I was immobile for days. You can't expect me to run nor lift weights. Tell Vlad i'll do these two at another time if possible. Shooting guns and throwing knives would probably turn out better for me right now anyway." he said and headed to the shooting grounds where he started testing the various weapons that were in his disposal. Miles found that surprisingly, his eyesight had far improved since the DNA splicing. So much that he was able to see an ant crawling on the floor across the gym. And with improved eyesight comes improved aiming. He found out that his aim was 90% of the times on spot with every weapon he tested, even knives. Apart from aiming, his grip strength had significantly increased. When he tried out the largest sniper they had in the gym, he found out he was unaffected by the huge recoil. "I'm done i think. Now what?" he asked the guard patiently.

Ray headed to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. He bought some coffee and a croissant and took a seat in one of the empty tables. He looked to the courtyard while munching on his croissant, thinking about what had happened last night.

Holy Shit. Miles had overslept and he guessed that would not be a very good first time impression but he couldn't help it. One day ago he couldn't move a single muscle as his DNA splicing hadn't stabilized yet. He got out of bed but nearly fell. Apparently, his legs couldn't support his weight because they had gotten used to not moving for so long but after a couple of minutes he regained his balance and started running towards where he thought they were meeting. Last night, after his splicing had stabilized, Vlad the head scientist had told him that he was supposed to attend a meeting. "I hope they haven't started without me..." he said to himself sighing. A random announcement caught him off guard but he nevertheless reached the gym. No one but guards were there so he walked towards one of them and with a confused tone said "Um, where is everyone?"
