Vi was tinkering and calibrating the wiring of her left gauntlet when the man knocked the door of her garage for the fifth time. Frustrated, she placed her tools on the table next to her and quickly walked to the door, opening it; “Which of the words ‘In a minute’ don’t you understand?” she asked him angrily but calmed down when she saw it was one of the couriers working for The Paradigm. The man was fairly tall and well built and he was wearing the normal Paradigm uniform with the factions crest on his chest. They regularly supplied her with metal and parts she needed for her line of work. “I thought i specifically asked that you notified me before any deliveries were made.” She looked at her gauntlet and back at him and sighed. “Anyway, leave the package there next to the other boxes and I’ll get to it later” she said. Alone again after the man left, she picked up her screwdriver and tried to get back to work but quickly gave up, her concentration having been ruined. “I better take a break or I will end up breaking something” she told herself. Vi opened her garage door, taking a deep breath of fresh air in.

btw if faeries age slower than humans wouldn't the age equivalent or a 30 yr old faery be 40+ yrs old human? how can they be adults at 30 :/

Vi is a kid of the road. She grew up on the road and quickly learned to not trust people as that would cost her in the long run. As such, first impressions matter a lot when you are dealing with her. If you manage to gain her trust though, that’s really when her personality shines. She deeply cares for her dear ones and will defend them with her all if something were to happen to them. She has faced many hardships in her life so she always tries to make the most of everything she experiences.

Backstory:

Vi always had it rough. Being an orphan, she grew up practically on the road, relying on robbing and cheating others to get by. At five years old she could pick your wallet out of your pocket with you not even realizing it until it was too late. She made her home in abandoned buildings and shacks where other orphans came together in order to survive. Life was hard but not impossible and she always had hope that one day she and her friends would all get a better opportunity in life.

That opportunity came when Iris took the throne and with her came magiscience. Vi had no previous knowledge of magic nor magiscience, instead relying on her skills as a thief to get by. One day, as she was wandering one of the busiest neighborhoods of the capital, searching for the next unlucky person who would have his pockets emptied, her eyes caught a glimpse of a strange contraption laying on one of the many trade stands scattered along the road. When she reached to examine the fascinating contraption, the trader noticed her and drove her away with shouts and threats, saying that “magiscience” is not a toy for brats like her but whoever knew Vi, knew that just because of what he had just said, she would do anything she could to learn everything there was about that magiscience thing he was talking about.

Fast forward six years and she is now considered one of, if not, the best mechanics in Yggdrasil. She has stopped stealing to get by, now instead taking on jobs from various clients that want something fixed for them. If not at work, she is usually found in her garage doing modifications on her signature weapons, her two giant robotic gauntlets she made herself.
