Tensing her jaw she slid one of her hands from the hilt of the sword letting it glide down the blade before she pressed her palm flat against it throwing her weight into her stance causing him to once more stumble back giving her the opportunity to bring it around and up the tip cutting into his shoulder, her already cold dark eyes seeming more black than normal as he caught his stance again wincing slightly at the pain in his shoulder though an eerily creepy chuckle still managed to slip through his lips filling the air around them, "It was a mistake to let you live as long as you have. I will be the first to admit that we were young and foolish to believe that you, of all Angels, wouldn't survive your fall from grace... But take my word on it, I will not make that mistake a second time Kaelani." Lowering her blade so that the tip was dragging along behind her just as the tips of her wings were doing she continued to stare him down each step towards him causing the ground to crack below her bare feet, "Because I will not give you the chance. Just as I will not give you the chance to touch another hair on his head." Quickening her pace she brought her hand across both now gripping tightly to the hilt as she brought it up and around again and again, each movement more ferocious and violent then the next forcing him into defending himself rather than attacking and in turn pushing him further and further away from where Taiga was situated the sound of his gear being activated ringing in the recesses of her mind though she was barely concentrating on it, the young fallen one too focused on keeping the one member she hadn't truly seen eye to eye with at a safe distance while the thought of sweet revenge on one of the three Angels that had ruined her life slowly began to creep in on her thoughts. "You are pathetic and weak! Sinking to the level at which you have... Protecting those beasts you were once trained to seek out and destroy..!" Letting out a loud and frustrated yell she once more swung her blade around catching him in the side though her action was foreseen a sharp pain issuing through her body spreading out from her stomach as she felt the the tip of his spear slice through her skin leaving a deep gash in its wake, "If that is how you see me then so be it. I would rather be seen in that light, then as the monster in which you are! Turning on one of your own... I trusted you, and you betrayed me! You are nothing more than a coward!" Her body shook slightly though it was more due to her anger for the man before her rather then the pain that she hadn't really taken much notice of at this point, once her adrenaline had receded and she was down from her fight she would feel it, but for now it was further then the last thing on her mind. Concentrating her mind on her blade she watched as it slowly began to heat up the metal glowing around the edges causing flames to rise up licking at the sword and threatening all who it's wielder deemed an enemy, the flames reflecting in her eyes and illuminating her face even in the light of the day adding to the cold and merciless expression she held towards him, "I would gladly spend the rest of eternity protecting someone who does not trust me, especially if it means I am able to take pleasure in running you through with my own blade Cael. And believe me... It will be a pleasure..."

"..-Of course, we're available most afternoons and weekends, so please feel free to call upon us. And here, if you're satisfied with the work provided, hand these out to your friends. I look forward to doing business with you." Her hands came together in front of her as she watched the woman leave with the last few fliers they had been assigned to hand out her eyes closing as a gentle sigh escaped through her lips, "I think that's been enough time... The others should be out doing their jobs, so I should be able to read in peace without having to listen to Taiga and his accusing words against me... Ready to head back Mahiro?" Turning her gaze down as she felt his soft fur brushing lovingly against her skin she couldn't help the smile that crossed over her lips the two of them moving together as they began to leave the area that they had ended up in heading back towards the club room, "Kaelani, I thought you'd never ask, and as long as I get to cuddle into those two perky pillows there on your chest, I am more than happy to head back with you." Rolling her eyes she shook her head softly her arms swinging gently back and forth in rhythm with her hips with each step she took her body freezing however when she felt the air around her shift causing her muscles to tense and her brows to furrow, realizing she was no longer with him Mahiro stopped turning his body back around to look back at her a curious and slightly worried expression on his features, "Are you alright? Are you not feeling well? Because I can carry you back if you nee-..." "Something is not right..." Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket she slipped her hand in pulling it out before she answered not getting the chance to speak before Lorenzo had confirmed her own conclusion, throwing her mobile to the side knowing that Mahiro would catch it she reached around her body she gripped a tight hold of her jumper lifting it up and off her body just in the nick of time saving it from being completely destroyed as she forced herself to change, her human facade dropping to show the hybrid that she had become. Hunching her shoulders slightly her lips turned up in a small smile as she listened to the sound of her school shirt ripping apart due to the pressure as her large angelic-like wings (one pure white, the other pure black) burst from her shoulder blades sending stray feathers falling to the ground behind her as they beat heavily the tips brushing over the ground, wrapping them tightly around her body she rid herself of the rags that had now become another useless school uniform her black armor-like clothing quickly spreading over her body keeping her decent from prying eyes. Unfolding her wings as she kicked off her shoes and socks leaving her barefooted she turned her attention over to her familiar her eyes now cold and calculating as she spoke giving him a quick order, "Gather my things and take them back to the club room... And if you forget anything this time, you will be sleeping outside for a month. Once you've done that go search, and help the first person you find! Got it?" Not bothering to wait for a reply she beat her wings down hard lifting herself up into the air her hair changing, growing... The normal beautiful dark brown locks slowly turning a mixture of black and white the tech-like armor surrounding it not looking like much though it had kept her from a number of serious head injuries before, catching sight of the scene unfolding below her eyes fell on a familiar figure running while yet another figure she knew chased the first down, hunting him like some sort of wild animal. Pressing her wings almost completely flat behind her body she dove down quickly closing the gap between her and the other two her gloved hands twitching lightly by her sides as she hit the ground coming down between them both. Turning her body around she shot her arms out in front of her a strong concentrated burst of air rushing towards one of her old brothers hitting him squarely in the chest and causing him to stumble back slightly, standing up straighter her hands came together on her right hip her fingers brushing against the hilt of the sword she wore the blade glittering in the light of the afternoon sun. Regaining his stance the angel smirked his eyes flicking over her before he began to close the gap only taking a couple of steps towards her, "My oh my... Kaelani, well haven't you grown; what's it been? A couple of decades?" Her hands gripped hold of the hilt of her sword her eyes narrowing and anger clear on her face as she stared at the man before her not caring too much for his so called friendly banter, "Not long enough Cael... Come to right the wrong you helped to commit all those years ago?" Shaking his head he brought his spear back up his position shifting causing her to pull her own blade the two of them making it clear that there was never going to be common ground between them again, "No, but I shall take pleasure in finishing the job right this time." Pushing away from their places at the same time the two of them met in the middle their weapons meeting between them with a loud clang of metal upon metal causing her to growl out her next words, "Yes, remember our training? If you're going to kill someone, you should do it right the first time!"
