To answer the first three questions: We don't quite know. We've kept the RP compartmentalized to make sure it is accessible despite its long life. What I can tell you is that the war was much more devastating than anything Europe has likely ever seen in the real world, to the point I would suspect the damaged surpassed that of the Second World War. Realistically... yeh, France should have went through some temporary collapse, and we know that it would have been weakened enough to have both lost its colonies and taken a relatively isolationist stance since... it hasn't played a major part in the RP's history.

What you do need to know is the condition of your neighbors. The important nations surrounding France are booked. We have an Italy in @Wilted Rose, a Britain in @Shyri, a Germany in @Pepperm1nts. Now, those three don't post often, but your southern neighbor Spain, @gorgenmast, is the leading European superpower.
