Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

... I'm really not sure how to reply here. ^^;

Saber is King Arthur, King of Knights, all-around noble figure... I'm pretty sure she's going to take serious issue with someone murdering innocent people for their own gain. It's not even like he said he feeds off of his enemies or something.

I honestly have no idea what to do aside from have Saber sum up why that's such a terrible thing and then attacking him.
Hopefully they're going to post soon.

I need to figure out my Master too, actually. I don't want to use my usual one for admittedly-silly reasons.
I still need to decide on my Servant, really.

I really love my Caster but I don't really want to do a Caster this time. But then all my other options seem to be Sabers and I'm not good at NP's...

... And my last resort(s) are canon Servants. Hmm.
I think if you want to keep it hidden you should have multiple GM's, and it's a bit late for that.

More then one set of eyes can spot potential problems more easily then one.

Thinking about it, I do think it could be fun, but it's a bit late to get more then one GM and have all bios PMed for this RP, definitely.
Oh, completely misunderstood. ^^;

I would make OC Servants more if I didn't tend to get stuck on Noble Phantasms.

My only other decent one is Tomoe Gozen but her NP kind of is really boring. : (
I can see what you mean now, but I think if they're familiar enough with the character it shouldn't really effect the RP?

... Um, just my opinion on it though, so, um.
Um, again, weighing in with my own opinion here...

IC it doesn't matter if the character is canon or not. No-one should know their identity to start out, unless they go on blabbing it or do something that would reveal it. It doesn't matter if they're canon unless they've been summoned in a previous war and the character determining their identity knows they were and who they were.

Balance issues aren't always easy to judge, especially given the only way to convey a GM's vision for an RP's balance is really for them to just try and describe what they want. Complexity and amount of related conditions makes it harder to work out how they would interact with other characters in terms of balance.

Again, not GMing, I just... really want this to be fun for people and for there not to be heated arguments or anything like that. I've seen way too many Fate RPs end up with arguments including when I try to run them and it's kind of upsetting since it's such a fun set-up for an RP.
Eternal Arms Mastership isn't actually listed as one of Herc's skills, I've never actually seen it there. You do kind of have a point about daytime fighters but that is balanced out by there being more secluded areas in this setting.

And, um, I don't think Rain realized you meant Gawain when you said Saber.

I'm not the GM here, um, just trying to mediate things, really. I'm a little worried about Gawain as a player because of /extra for the most part and I don't want things to get heated when they shouldn't.
