Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

Pilot

Name: Princess Amelia Winterbloom Vaspria the Third

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance: "Ah, welcome to the castle... I did not know my parents had a guest." She also has a pilot suit.

Personality: Amelia is a polite girl with a rather gentle disposition. Brought up as the sole heir to the throne of Vaspria, Amelia was taught from a young age to conduct herself calmly and gracefully, and to that end she has done quite well. Amelia is, however, quite naive and not particularly equipped to deal with the outside world beyond Vaspria's gardens, which is why her new situation is such a jarring struggle for her. Even under duress, Amelia attempts to be a patient and calm girl, but it becomes very difficult to do so the worse a situation becomes. As Amelia was brought up, she was instilled with a strong sense of justice, something that she will not abandon. If she sees people being attacked or threatened, she is liable to become angry and try to defend them. In spite of her many good intentions, Amelia's upbringing was somewhat spoiled and it shows, as she will often not understand why people are not always willing to bring her food or help her dress.

Brief Backstory: The country of Vaspria was a small European nation. It possessed a high level of technological prowess, but in spite of this it was often compared by visitors to some kind of fantasy world. For the common fashion of Vaspria, the architecture, resembles most closely the middle ages, in spite of enjoying a much higher standard of living then that period. Vaspria is ruled by a King and Queen, and they had a daughter, Amelia. Amelia was raised to be the successor to the throne, the Queen of Vaspria. Her life was rather idyllic, but it was not to last. There were dissenters in Vaspria, and they betrayed the country to terrorists, and the royal palace was attacked, the King and Queen taken prisoner. They were not able to capture the Princess, however. The royal guards, and the maids, showed her to one of Vaspria's defensive machines(a royal model), as all the royal family had been trained in piloting and controlling such machines, and she was able to escape. The plan was that she would be able to inform others of what had happened, so that they could come to Vaspria's aid. However, there are so many dangers to the world, it can only be hoped that she is able to return quickly.

Skills: Amelia has been trained in horseback riding, art, some sciences, and in the piloting of Vaspria's mecha.

Abilities: N/A

Mecha

Name: ARM-1 Spark Knight

Type: Real Robot

Appearance: Juuust ignore the serial number and stuff

Specifications: A relatively small mecha, Spark Knight is designed to be a rapidly-moving and highly mobile fighter capable of taking on much larger targets.

Equipment System: Spark Knight is unshielded and has light armor. It makes up for this by being equipped a propulsion system allowing it to freely fly and rapidly maneuver around its enemies. In addition, it is equipped with a myriad of laser systems built into the armor of the mecha, firing from its palms and shoulders primarily in a lightshow od destruction. Finally, Spark Knight is equipped with a module allowing for an offensive barrier, but this module is very difficult to utilize properly.
@Illuminami: Sorry it's taking so long, I'm just hitting a weird block when I try to figure out how to write my response. Don't worry too much, it's fairly minor and easily fixed when I actually work out to say it.

@liferusher: Accepted.
Accepted.

Why was she in this alley? Why... why was it so foggy? Where was everyone? The girl looked around, frightened, her body quaking in fear. This... she had been where it was well-lit, and out with other people... sure it was late, but she was fine, right? She didn't remember turning into this alley... where had all the fog come from?! It was so thick... it had been so clear and cool, but now the air felt so choking and tight... she felt like there was even less room then it looked like as she stumbled through the fog, trying to find her way. Oh, this had been so stupid, going out like this so late at night...

She didn't notice the dark figure come up behind her. She only realized someone was there when she felt a hand on her back, and then heard whispering. A searing pain ripping through her abdomen, and the whole world swirled into blackness...
2:00 PM, The Tower

"... They're calling him the 'Twenty-First Century Jack the Ripper', can you believe that?"

Eliza's eyes were firmly fixed on the photographs. She did not question how Louise came across them. The older woman was part of the Citadel Six's... handlers, so to speak. She was in charge of gathering information for them. The room was rather dark, less because of the lighting and more due to the dark colors of the room. The walls were black, the couches and tables dark blue. Really, it was not the most cheerful surroundings, to say the least. Neither, however, was the subject at hand. The pictures were grisly, to say the least. Each was of the remains of a girl. Her body, seemingly untouched, not even a single wound on her or a tear in her clothing... and then each organ, neatly arranged beside her. It was disgusting. The thought that a mage would reasonlessly prey upon those unaware, and what they were doing to these girls... Eliza's eyes narrowed.

"So, you can see why we need him stopped, right?" Louise turned her gaze to Eliza, and then to the room in general. Indeed, everyone would be there for the explanation. Eliza nodded. There was no question here. There was no doubt. This was the purpose of the Citadel Six. These rogue magi who the Enforcers were unable to deal with, like this 'Twenty-First Century Jack the Ripper'. These magi who would prey upon those who held no knowledge of the supernatural-it was not merely a threat to them, it was a threat to the supernatural community. There was no way such murders could occur without something beyond the 'possible'. It was only with magic that they could ever have been conducted.

"Killing these girls, so brazenly showing off his magic..." Louise stretched, her hands high over her head, "Jeez, he's really asking for it, isn't he? ... Anyway, I wanna get out of here. This room makes me feel so... tight, I have no idea how you hang out in here so much. Maybe it's an Unlucky Six thing, huh?"

Eliza's frown grew. 'Unlucky Six'. Louise knew that annoyed her. And what was wrong with their lounge? It was fine.

"... Such a sour look, Eliza," Louise smiled, "I bet you really wanna get this guy now... so, any questions before I go? We don't know much."
It's bad because it's a disturbing and absolutely unnecessary and frankly it does not take much thought to see why it is at all.

It would be far easier and far less unfitting, disturbing, and unnecessary if he just was born to a single mother because the father left.
I think the very idea of... that is strongly against the aim and tone of this RP as well as being very disturbing.
Saber

Saber paused for a moment, her pursuit of food briefly stopped when the dog-like creature walked up to her and began asking about... Saint Curtis? She supposed she should not have been so surprised that he could speak... The King of Knights glanced towards the stands once more, the smell of food coaxing her ever closer. She was not sure how to answer the creature, as well, she had never heard of such a place. "... I have never heard of any 'Saint Curtis', I am sorry."

She certainly did not know how to reach such a place from here, let alone even know what this place was. She was not able to help in this case, to say the least. Saber turned away from the strange being and, without further hesitation, proceeded further into the food stands. There were so many, oh, what to choose... in spite of being a Servant who did not require food to live, Saber did indeed feel hungry. Even if her link with Rin was as strong as ever, eating also helped to more quickly replenish any mana she had used. And therefore-...

...

... Was that...

Saber paused for a moment. Indeed, there was no mistaking the red-clothed, white-haired figure for anyone else. Archer was cooking... and Archer's cooking was... quite, quite impressive... Eyes shining, the blonde girl approached the stand. Yes... this was excellent! "... Archer! I... I am unsure of why you are at this stand, but I will not question it!"

Saber's heart may have been beating faster with excitement. Yes, the promise of good food was upon her.
Yuriko grinned. Oh, not everyone got it, but a lot of people were getting it! She rubbed her hands together eagerly, and... wait wait wait what did Allison just say. Did she just call her... her...

"KIDDO?!" Yuriko's finger snapped up to point at the mechanic as she made her outburst. "Why are you saying that kind of thing!? I'm not a kid! I'm not! I'm seventeen! High school age! I'm not some little elementary schooler, got it?!"

She folded her arms and huffed, even as Rose lifted her off her shoulders and placed her squarely back on the ground. She turned up her nose at the offending crewmates(Ghost had made his own comment, but that wasn't even worthy of attention!) and stood their for a moment. She was their captain! How dare they say things like that?! How was she supposed to be all illustrious when people were going to try and make fun on her like that?! Hmph! ... However, as members of her crew began to ask about her plan for the ship, Yuriko remembered that it might be a somewhat good idea to explain that.

"Well, no, Lime-san, you can't eat Sakuraium," she started. That was a good thing to open with. After all, Sakuraium's value lay not in it being edible or anything like that, but what the metal did. All laser-based weapons were made with Sakuraium, the unique metal's incredible energy-channeling and magnification abilities single-handedly making lasers a fully viable form of weaponry! Or would it be single metal-platedly? Regardless, Sakuraium fetched quite a lot of credits whenever it was sold, and a load like this, well... Yuriko was practically shaking with excitement just thinking about it! "And that's a great idea, Quartermaster! But first, I've gotta tell you all about my plan for this ship!"

Yuriko pointed directly Miyu. "We're not gonna do that, Koizumi-san! Do you know how clunky those cargo ships are? I mean jeez, they maneuver like rocks! But that's to our advantage! Bellos' has a pretty big asteroid field around it, no cargo ship is gonna wanna go into that, there's no way they'd ever maneuver out of it. Sure, it could try and go over or below it, but I don't think they're gonna wanna chance it... not when we've got them pinned down!"

Yuriko's grin grew. Oh, it'd be some pretty hardcore space piracy this time! "We're gonna get that ship stuck between us and the asteroid field! There's no room to escape and if we make them think we're willing to shoot them down they're not gonna try anything funny! Then it's pretty simple, we get in, get as much cargo as we can carry, and then get out before the UEGSC can even realize we're there!"
I'll be making my next post to progress the RP today hopefully. ^^;

Get ready for Yuriko's master plan!
