Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Name: Akiyama Yuki
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: "...?"
Personality: Yuki's personality is difficult to describe. This is mostly owing to a lack of any show of emotion. Yuki never shows surprise, happiness, sadness... she almost always boasts an entirely neutral expression. She's very difficult to figure out because of this. She rarely speaks, and when she does it's in a quiet, neutral tone and almost always only when directly addressed or out of necessity. Indeed, she's a perplexing figure. It can be assumed that she enjoys reading, as when she is not silently staring at someone she can be found reading nearly anything she can consume, from manga to novels. She follows orders exactly and literally, and never protests any order she received.
Brief Backstory: Who knows the truth behind the mystery of Akiyama Yuki? She is a young girl who is not counted among the magitech girl candidates, and yet the higher-ups of SEED insist upon her presence in SEED headquarters. She vanishes for extended periods of time, only to appear abruptly without any word of where she disappeared to. Rumors circulate around the unusual girl, and no-one aside from Sumiko herself and the higher-ranking members of SEED seem to know what Yuki's purpose is and why she is present. It has been rumored she occasionally is spotted in the medical ward, though no injuries are found on her body, but beyond this few know why Akiyama Yuki is present.
Abilities: Reading skills. Any other abilities are strictly known only by higher-ups in SEED.
Occupation: ???

RP will be posted tomorrow!
GS is still putting this on, she just hasn't been able to do a lot of work recently.
If you want to, I'll probably be getting this up tomorrow.
2:01, the Tower

As Louise opened her mouth to respond, Eliza spoke first. She didn't want to given the green-haired girl the chance to give out more casual insults. She knew why their handler did it, it was specifically to get a reaction. She would not allow any more if she could help it, and so cutting her off was the logical action. And besides, there were some points she wanted to make here. As she spoke, her tone was rather short and direct.

"Don't be ridiculous. There's hardly any necessity for the killer to possess an affinity for flesh or blood," she began, arms folded tightly across her chest. She didn't even spare a glance at their Number Five as she made her rebuttal. He was a weak mage who relied on tricks to circumvent his own lack of magical quality. This wasn't exactly what she saw as improper, but at the same time it wasn't something to be celebrated in her opinion. "They could have learned outside of their affinity. Besides, if that were the case, they would have had to perfectly repair the victim's clothing and bodies, as well as removing any blood."

Louise paused for a moment, eyebrow raised. Then she smiled, and let out a small giggle. "My my my, Number One is feeling pretty aggressive right now. It's making me excited! Ah, if only we weren't all in this dreadful room..."

Eliza cast a glare at the older woman. What was she even saying?

"In any case, she's right," Louise continued, "On top of that, Lucas, you could have the right idea, it seems unlikely that they were already dead when their bodies aren't displaying any signs of injury."

The green-haired mage stretched again, the gave Lucille a sideways look. "At least you're cute, with your bunny... I don't know if you'd want to act as bait when we don't know his capabilities yet. I'm sure even someone like you would perish if your organs were all removed."
Um, I'm sorry to see you feel like that.

It really was just a matter of finding a different MagiGear picture.
Do I have to PM some people? We're missing posts. ^^;
Ideally in the next couple of days.

Ugghh... well she is a demolition, it would be absurd to handle explosion when she is weakness to it, wouldn't it? That is why she is tanky and much slower when travelling as stated in the character sheet.

Well, the thing is, again, this is a kind of minor thing, but the thing with mecha musume is they're mecha girls, girls in armor resembling mecha. Being visibly human is part of that and with your character's MagiGear active she looks like a mecha rather then a girl in armor. ^^;

Again, it's minor but it bothers me a little.

Is this still open?

It is, yes.
I've actually spoken to GS a bit, and the Custodians are a VERY big organization, with people who are not mecha pilots as well as people who are being a part of it.

It has a very huge amount of variety within it... and funnily enough neither of my current characters are actually part of it. ^^;
So I kind of updated Minako's design a bit.

Still kind of obvious who inspired her appearance though. ^^;
