Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I need someone to notice Nanoha to keep going. ^^;
@Dead Cruiser: I mean more the extent of the abilities already in her bio. For example, to what extent can she manipulate the weather? @Gingerboi: Accepted! I can't edit the first post anymore so I won't be able to change the list. : ( @eemmt: Will look it over shortly.
I really just want to know the extent of her abilities.
Um, PM me, yes.

Also yes, Tanya was pantsed by fairies.
Tanya's purple eyes narrowed as they laid upon the man who approached. For, as a Paladin of Reon, it was an easy task for her to recognize him for what he was. Undead. A vampire. While her distaste was nigh-immediately visible, it was somewhat countered by a logical assumption to be made about the man. If he was so brazenly approaching a Paladin of Reon, it was unlikely he was a wicked undead who sought only evil and death. No, it could only be assumed that he truly desired to join in on the venture into the deepest pit of the Prison-Castle. In spite of this, she was still quick to tug her hand away when he kissed it.

"I know what you are, undead," she said, crossing her arms across her chest. "... But a true Paladin only slays the wicked members of your kind. Anything else is merely a murderer, seeking to spill blood for the sake of it. But that doesn't mean I have to like it! Just because I'll accept your help doesn't meant you're my friend, okay?!"

The outburst seemed rather ridiculous, especially with how relatively calm Tanya had been before it. However, she was simply eager to make her feelings abundantly clear on the matter. At least the previous man seemed quite alive and easy to accepted. But before Tanya could continue, she heard a tiny voice cry 'Purple!' and then discomfort on the back of her head. It felt like someone was tugging on one of her hairs! Swiftly, the small, purple-haired paladin turned, her boots clacking on the bench, only to realize by the thrumming of wings that the perpetrator had moved around in front of her. She turned completely around once more to come face-to-face with the mischief-maker.

A fairy.

Oh, Tanya had dealings with fairies before. Once a rather mischevious group of them had managed to remove her skirt... and the underwear beneath it... and spirited them away into a tree. The embarrassment and anger was still rather fresh in Tanya's mind even though it wasn't a recent event. Still, a fairy could be helpful... "You can look at my hair if you want... but don't just go tugging on it like that!"

Okay, so it was a bit nice to have her hair noticed like that... but still!

"And it's the Prison-Castle of the Mad Kind Haldric. With how long your kind lives I'm surprised you don't know of it already," Tanya began, "What are you skills exactly? ... That's a question to all of your. If you're coming on this venture, I'd like to know what you can do if you haven't said so already."
@Dinh AaronMK: Frankly I assumed it was irrelevant. Incidentally, the multiverse(I assumed this was obvious) is literally the space between dimensions. I didn't even think it was worth explaining why it can function because, again, it's not immediately irrelevant, but I'd assume people from different universes still have a link to their universe, or simply inherently operate under the rules of their own universe. As would be, you know, logical, simple, and consistent.

I am absolutely not depriving people of their characters' abilities just because they decided not to place them in a faction at the start. It's grossly unfair and quite the opposite of "balance". Frankly there are plenty of plot hooks I can devise for something vast like this without doing something that eliminates the abilities of unaffiliated characters.

As for the abilities you mentioned, I would never accept someone who can read minds infinitely or effortlessly generate black holes, so it's really rather irrelevant.

@SillyGoy: Try adjusting the personality and I'll consider it.
... The come from different universes. Magic functions differently in different universes. It's not some homogeneous force across all of them. It's like how people have different blood-types, they can't use blood from a person with a different blood type but nothing stops them from interacting with it.

I'd assume no-one will decide their character explodes when they touch magic from another universe.

Nothing like this is ever an issue in any crossover RP I've ever seen, it won't be an issue in this one.
Name: Anno
Age: 21
Appearance: "Wh-what's with this o-outfit?" Brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, black-and-white maid outfit. Red wings and tail.
Personality: Shy and somewhat reclusive, Anno spends most of her time reading or on the computer. While she is a bit more likely to be somewhat open among friends, her nerves get to her easily and she sometimes suffers from anxiety. She does her best to try and work through this, but it can sometimes be rather difficult to do so. She is a fan of action and slice of life works, as well as comedies. She is also a fan of yuri. She likes cute things a great deal and is very, very much against seeing children hurt for any reason. Anno is a massive fan of the Nasuverse, Touhou, and a lot of other things that would take an unnecessarily large amount of space to list. She finds the maid outfit highly embarrassing.
Brief Backstory: Anno's life is mostly uninteresting, she's mostly just a normal girl. Until the whole Demon thing.
Class: MAID OF INFINITE DARKNESS ("W-wait, what?")
Equipment:
-A broom: Used to clean things. Also bonk them on the head. It tends to hurt.
-Maid Outfit of +100 Maidliness: She's unquestionably a maid. She doesn't know why.
Powers:
-Evility: Essence of Yuri- Anno likes cute girls. A lot. So much so that she gets a ten percent power boost. But it's really kind of embarrassing, too.
-Skills: Pocket Mansion- What's a maid without a mansion to tend to? Only in this case the mansion is in a pocket dimension. In her pocket. Currently she has access to only the kitchen, and can toss things from within it out at the enemy.
Abilities: She can draw okay, that's about it. Well, and play some video games decently. Does that count?

... This character is basically me. ^^; It's embarrassing but I also thought it would be kind of hilarious so um.

... The Evility was awkward but I was kind of told it was the only thing that fit apparently so yeah.
@Dinh AaronMK: I'm not particularly certain that it will be an issue given I see no reason for rules from one setting to somehow overrule others in any capacity. Just because characters originate from different settings with different rules does not mean that they cannot interact within a crossover RP. I see no particular reason that, for example, Saber's magic resistance and vulnerability to magical weapons cannot apply to all settings across the board. I expect a magic sword to hurt her but magical lightning to have no effect. Neither do I see a reason to randomly change the abilities of characters involved in order to somehow solve this non-issue, a tactic I see as somewhat defeating the purpose of a crossover RP.

This may be an interest check, but in this case I have my ideas mostly finalized.

But perhaps this isn't the RP for you if you take issue with how the vast majority of crossover RPs I have seen are run.
... I'm sorry I made a minor typo.

If you want me to get into the deeper issues I have with your bio, I can easily point out that he appears to have no actual personality(you say it changes from one monent to the next) and his abilities are completely undefined.
