Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

**Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B** Black Rock Shooter lowered her cannon. Slowly, it dissipated into blue light again, leaving her unarmed. If he was not going to fight, she would not as well. Her only response to this was a simple, short word. "... Unnecessary." And that was that. When he introduced himself, Black Rock Shooter realized he was someone Mato had learned about in her history lessons. How strange. What was such a person doing here? ... Well, regardless, it was not her duty to discern that. Her duty was in the rescue and return of Dead Master, nothing else. However, before she could leave, Suwako stopped her again. Black Rock Shooter turned to face the girl, cocking her head to one side once more. What was it that was so important about telling the other girl her name? ... Well, there was no reason not to give it. "... Black Rock Shooter." The shapes in the ruined building had vanished. This was only because they were moving to the ground level. They were moving towards these newcomers. --- **Dlanor A. Knox, Inquisitor of Heaven - Dlanor's Office, UMMA Vessel Tanngrisnir** The universal communicator kicked in, and projected the holographic interface it interpreted the codec call as on Dlanor desk. She swiftly looked up, the small girl's yellow eyes fixing on the cyborg man in the projection. On one hand, it was an interruption, and the cyborg obviously should have known already... on the other, it presented an opportunity for a break from this blasted paperwork. The small girl nodded to Raiden's inquiry, reaching to the side of her desk and raising a folder up. The briefing had been simple. Their task was to defend the vessel in case of attempted Shadow Eternity attack. "I have the record of the briefing in this FOLDER," Dlanor began, rising from her seat. The projection followed the angelic inquisitor as she placed her quill aside and placed the folder carefully under one small arm. Her right, the one without the golden gauntlet. "I shall deliver it PERSONALLY." With that, she strode out of the room. Raiden was likely near the lounge, which featured a variety of options for both the civilian passengers and the agents defending it. The _Tanngrisnir_'s purpose was specifically for transport. Naturally, this did not necessarily mean only civilians, as there were certain materials in the hold that required safe transport. However, it was believed to be nothing that would place the civilians in danger.
**Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B** Black Rock Shooter stared down in confusion at the smaller girl as she fretted. She wasn't sure why, the otherself didn't think she was injured... Quietly, she looked herself over. No, she did not appear to be injured in any way. Of course, Black Rock Shooter was less easy to injure when compared to the human she reflected. So her only real response to the girl, 'Suwako', was to quietly shake her head. She did not feel any injuries, or at the very least if there had been any they had healed so quickly that the pain had been indistinguishable from the pain experienced from the impact. Seeing that everything was well, the otherself made to turn and walk away. After all, the girl was clearly fine, the man seemed fine, and she had to rescue Dead Master. ... The man was approaching. Why? "..." Black Rock Shooter turned to face him. He was asking if they were alright. He was armed. The girl was immediately on her guard, almost unconsciously stepping in front of Suwako and readying Rock Cannon. Finally, her mouth opened. "... Fine," she began, before her eyes quickly snapped to the swords he carried, "... You are armed." Of course, with this distraction, it was impossible for her to notice the dark shapes flitting through the windows of the tallest ruined building.
Hmm. I'll post with Saber and Dlanor sometime later if no-one interacts with them before them. For now, time for more Black Rock Shooter. Champion of Social Graces.
I've made a post with Black Rock Shooter. I'd like some interaction with Dlanor or Saber before I go and post with them, eh-heh.
**Black Rock Shooter - Client World 576143290-B** 'Incoming'...? Black Rock Shooter looked up in time for a human-shaped blur to collide directly with her. Sand was tossed up around her a the impact tossed her to the side, sending her end over end, rolling across the sand for a few meters. Her pale body shook for a moment from the strike that had come out of no-where, and for a few moments she could not do much else but lie still. However... she did not feel any injury. Black Rock Shooter swiftly sat up. The attack had come so swiftly! Blue light materialized around her left arm as she pushed off the ground with her right, and the immense dark shape of Rock Cannon incarnated itself, ready to fire as she swung it up and-... ... It was... a little girl. In a hat? Black Rock Shooter paused. Indeed... it was a girl. In a hat. Who appeared... perhaps a few years younger than Mato's age, and her own, physical age. The otherself stared in silent confusion for a moment, before lowering her Rock Cannon. She cocked her head to the side, and worldlessly questioned what she had seen. "...?" She simply didn't understand. But no sooner then she had begun to attempt to discern what had happened then a voice called from further into the ruins. Black Rock Shooter turned, and in the distance saw a man, in some form of armor. It was certainly not Dead Master, nor did it appear to be the one who had taken her. As such, she simply turned back to face the hat-girl who had fallen on her, kneeling down. "..." Black Rock Shooter outstretched her free hand. She should help her up... Of course, anyone who was not so distracted may possibly have noticed the shimmering in one of the abandoned ruins, through a fractured window.
I'd be all for Saber partnering up with Nono! Also there's a hangar, yes.
In universes like, say, our Earth, yes. Now really absent. ^^;
There are so yeah. ^^; Going to be absent for a bit now.
You can start wherever you want, but the most likely places are the _Tanngrisnir_ or the planet Black Rock Shooter is on.
